He called, saying he was my cousin. I come from a huge family. So I asked which one, his response was, "one of your oldest cousins". I continued to ask, "yes, but which one?". His response was, "the one from outside of Florida!" I asked "yes, but which one?" His response, "your oldest cousin from outside of Florida. ..." I asked, "yes, but which one?" He finally admitted,   his name and mispronounced my last name badly.  I told him, I think you have the wrong family. He hung up.

My sis-in-law got a call on Thanksgiving day from a man speaking Spanish saying he was her nephew from Texas.  She gave the phone to her brother and he told him he was his nephew, that he would be arriving in LA the next day  and he would need a ride. He asked for his cell number saying he would call today. Well, he did. He called but when my husband told him that he had talked to the real nephew he he hung up on him. It's an obvious SCAM!!!!

A male call to my  moms house today saying he was my cousin from California ,and we do have an uncle over there he supoustly says he was coming over to visit he asked for my cell number and I gave it to him because I do have a cousing over there but I don't know him  and then 30 mins later he calls me to tell me he had crashed  with a guy from Durango and was asking me for money so I called my uncle and told me that it wasn't me so I'm wondering who it was

claims to be family, never states name but accepts first name u say. says his number is 011 521 3310 3605770, says its a Mexico number.

yes i thought so after my mom told me about the incident so i decided to come and check it out online, I am glad she didnt fall for it =)

Its a scam.. had she fallen for it, the next call would have been for money!

This guy just called my house spoke to my mom, saying he was her nephew from the older generation..my mom was totally confused and didnt know what he was talking about, this man only spoke spanish and was very persistent that he was coming to visit us..my mom didnt know who he was so she hung up.

A male called from this phone number pretending to be my cousin from out of state. He asked about my parents and asked me to verify my last name. I asked him what was his name and he soon hung up the phone. He spoke in spanish and none of my cousins speak spanish. If i were you i would not answer or not give this male any information.

THIS GUY CALLED YESTERDAY AN ACTUALLY ASKED FOR MY HUSBAND AND HE EVEN KNEW MY HUSBAND LAST NAME..HE SAID HE WAS HIS NEPHEW BUT I TOTALLY GOT HIS MEXICAN ACCENT AND MY HUSBAND INFACT IN FROM SOUTH AMERICA..NOT EVEN CLOSE TO MY HUSBAND ACCENT..THIS GUY IS AND A** DO NOT FOLLOW HIS CONVERSATION HE ONLY TRIES TO GET NAMES OF YOUR FAMILY OUT OF YOU...HOW CAN WE REPOR THIS GUY TO THE AUTHORITIES?????

This guy called my house telling my mom he was our cousin fom mexico saying he was coming and to pick him up from the airport. We called my real cousin and hr had no plans of coming into the states.
