These are the same idiots calling either from (33) 1076-8047 or (33) 3749-0567 (Guadalajara, MX) well known scammers.

We got a call from this guys saying that they needed 500.00 that they were family members that wanted to say hi ..and if it was ok to come by and visit .. they came up with a story saying that they were crossing the border and they needed money because they had hit a car and a girl was hurt..and he said that he had worked out something with the cop and that he needed those 500.00 dollars .. after all this we decided to change our home Phone #  and Cells Phone # !  Be careful there's  a lot of fraud out there ..

hey today is december 26, and i got a call from this here number at 3:31 pm, he kept calling me uncle, watch out for this person or number, he seems to be playing pranks but be careful with giving out info.

Same s*** happened to me dat fool called my brother and my house as well sayin he was one of our cousins from mexico but we had been through dis a couple of years before so everyone be carefull and dont fall for this scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dis is da number dat called us 331-076-8047 so if u unfortunately fall for dis scam report to ur local police department!

the same exact thing happened to my mom. word for word as all the previous posts. this guy is calling from the same # as listed as well as 5546033844. we reported to local police and FBI.

dont fall for this scam. let everyone you know to advise their elders not to fall for this scam!

My dad received this number call on Thursday in Spanish
Telling him it was his nephew from Mexico that he was in Arizona and wanted to come visit my dad my dad was so excited they hung up and then Friday morning he called my dad that he had been in an accident that he was being detained by the police and needed 1,500 dollars my dad told him he had ni money then the Guy continued to ask my dad if he had a credit card an to give him the info my dad said no he didnt have one and so the Guy told my dad ok let me see what I can do and hung up and then my dad called one of his nephews to ask if it was true and his nephew said no tio my brother is here in mexico.

A mi me llamaron dos veces y la misma historia del sobrino que venia a visiternos y a darles una sorpresa a sus papas, ya despues de hablar un rato con el pense que era el pues hablaba y bromeaba como el. Me dijo que luego me llamaba para que le dieramos la sorpresa a sus papas.Hoy me hablo diciendo que ya venia pero que tuvo un accidente en Mexicali y queia que lo ayudara con 3.000 dolares que la muchacha se habia lastimado y el se habia puesto de acuerdo con la persona pero necesitaba el dinero y le dije: hablale a tus tios y no supe si se corto o me colgo Ya luego me comunique con la mama y me dijo que apenas habia hablado con el y esta contento en su religion ,estudios y trabajo.

Estas ratas estan llamando de Guadalajara Jalisco area (33) y no (331). La historia mia es muy similar a la tuya y he reportado el caso al 089 (denuncias) de mexico pero no creo que hagan nada. Llame al FBI de los Estados Unidos para ver si invistigan el caso y esta en proceso. Te ruego que llames al FBI division de San Diego al (858) 565-1255 y hagas tu denuncia, si hay suficientes personas que hayan sido estafadas hay mejor probabilidad de que le den seguimiento. el 6 de julio mi madre recibio una llamada de este numero, yo estaba con ella y la persona que estaba en la linea le dijo: hola tia que tal? y mi mama dijo: quien habla rolando, si tia, soy yo... el le dijo que mamaña vedria a visitarla que era una sorpresa y que no le avisara a nadie, ese dia llamo para avisar que vendria jueves..mi madre penso q en realidad era el porque su voz fue falsificada, y era igualita a la de mi primo, el le dijo q el jueves en la mañana, le estaria llamando, cuando ya estuviera en mejico mi madre hablo un poco con el pensando que era mi primo, pero el hombre se aprobechava cada vez mas de la situacion, el jueves en la mañana llamo de nuevo diciendo tia ahorita ya llegue a mexico pero fijese q me han retenido en el aeropuerto porque me estan cobrando $3000 y solo ando $2000 y necesito pagar $1000 tia ayudeme porfavor!!!!!! le dijo. y el le dijo que tenia que pagar eso por la cantidad de dinero que traia, y que los prestara y al llegar el los pagaria, mi madre le dijo que ella no podia pero que iba a ver como los podia conseguir, yel le dijo si tia ayudeme yo quiero estar haya, yo le llevo muchas sorpresas, a todos.y luego siguio lamando y llamando para ver si ya habia podido conseguir el dinero, bueno, realmente mi madre cayo en el juego.... y supuestamente el hombre que se hhizo pasar por mi primo le decia que al nomas tener el dinero que se lo lo mandara por moneygram. que ese iba a ser el favor que se lo iba a agradecer toda la vida...bueno conseguimos el diner nosotros pensando que era nuestro primo y el nos dijo que se lo mandaramos a nombre de fernanda gomez ibarra, ella era la licenciada que le estaba ayudando, y ella iba a ver en el sistema si ya le habia caido el dinero, y ahora que nos damos cuenta eso es sumamente proibido ante la ley internacional, nosotros insistimos a mandarselo a nombre de nuestro primo original, y el de primero nos dijo que si, nos dijo de esa licenciada podia hacer desde ahi los tramites mas rapido. sinceramente se aprovecharon de nuestra madre y de nosotros porque a pesar de que nosotros somos pobres. conseguimos el dinero con esfuerzo porq creiamos q era nuestro familiar. y si nos hemos quedado endeudados... cuando ya recio el dinero dijo que ya iba a empezar a hacer todos los tramites parta el viaje y que hiba a poner el dinero a nombre de mi madre, dos cheques endosados. bueno colgo, y dijo que cuando ya fuera a salir le llamaria, luego llamo nosotros esperando que nos dijera que ya venia sale diciendo que necesitaba $500 dolares mas porque no se percato que el vuelo se le habia vencido de lo fastidiado que estaba, ya de estar ahi.. y dijo que se sentia tonto de no haberse dado cuenta, pero eso ya nos nos parecio y mi madre le dijo que ella no podia ya porque ya habia agotado todos sus recursos, y con otros investigaciones que empezampos a hacer nos dimos cuenta que nos extorcionaron y que nos querian seguir extorcionando. cualquiera puede decir que fuimos pendejos pero como el iba scando la informacion sutilmente, en verdad creimos que era mi primo, y mas que su voz era la misma mas por eso............ amigos no se dejen engañar, si alguien llama diciendo que mañana viene de viaje y que es sorpresa, es una estafa,,, y aunque el les diga no le digas a mis padres de esto,,, tu asegurate y hazlo antes de cometer una accion porque tus familiares siempre tienen que saber si alguien viaja. esto sucedio en El Salvador. y asi como nosotros pueden ser egañados ustedes. y cuento esto porque pienso que esta informacion le puede servir a alguien para desengañarse........

That same thing happened to me from the same number. He called on Monday and said he was my cousin and that he was going to Sacramento and wanted to stop by to say hi, but first he was going to Tijuana and that if i needed anything from there. He said he was going to call me the next day to let me know he was on his way. He did call back Tuesday, saying "Guess what i hit a car here outside US and they want me to pay them $2,000.00 and i only have $500.00, then i said don't you have the money to pay him? he replied "with emberrasement and all that i was going to ask you and then i would pay you when i get there, I asked who should I send it to (I knew I wasn't going to send it, because i've heard abou these calls) he said "you have to put it under his wife's name (dude that got hit)  "Araceli Medrano Rea", ok and what is the account number? He knew that i knew it was one of those calls and he cursed and offended my "Lovely mother who is in heaven" but bless his heart sooner or later that fish is going to get caught for doing this.

He's like from Mexico I'm like okay well what's your name? So he hung up. Coward as b*****d u  swear... I protect my family more than anything so ur sceme wont slide with Me! So I googled this # and I see all this WOW!

My mom got a call from this idiot in (331) 076-8047 and tried to pull the same crap, telin her it was her nephew and   had an accident, needed help, he needed to pay 1000 dollars, he asked for my mom to come up with the money to lend it to him , he needed the money be wired to Paula Magdalena Velasquez Duran, in Ensenada, Baja California Mexico by moneygram.
we almost sent the money but got saved by the real cousin who called and told us he was fine and not to sen anithing.

wow yo he resivido varias veses estas llamadas trate de reportarlo al departamento de policia de mi ciudad y me dijeron que no podian aser nada asta que nocometa el delito y como nosotros no emos caido en su juego pues lla se chingo pero si hay alguien que lla cayo porvabor reportenlo.

A guy called my sister telling her that he was her nephew from Mexico. He kept on asking her if she did not remember her. He was also trying to get more information on my sister's relatives in Mexico. He was being creepy. Please do not answer his calls he just a scamer.

Yesterday I got a phone call from a guy telling me that he was my nephew from Mexico City and that he was in TJ and that we was coming to visit me, we talked for a little bit thinking that he was really my nephew that I have living  there. we hung up and later he called me again saying that he had an accident and that we was detained by the police and that we needed $2000 to get out of jail if I could send him some money, I told him sorry  I have no money now and he said can you talk to my other relatives to see if the can, I told  him Ok let me see what I can do. So I called my relatives in Mexico and they told me that that nephew was there with them. So when this guy called again I never answered and then I reported to the police

I just received a call telling me if I don't remember him, that I forgot the family from mexico, I was some how embarrassed of not remembering that nephew, but I know all my nephews voice and this one was with different accent and voice, so I asked for his name he told me Carlos after I asked like 5 times, then I said" you lost me I don't remember have a nephew with that name, then he hung up.

We just got a called right now and I and my mother answered at the same time and the guy on the other line said he was her nephew from Mexico and my mother being the tough woman she is asked "well what's your name?" and then he said which nephew do you think it is which she replied "well what's your name" and then he said its me the nephew of my uncle so-and-so and that's we knew it was a scame because that person has no nephews or nieces and then my mother asked again "well what's your name" and they hung up.
