scaaammm, spanish speaking individuals pretending to be relatives who want money, a room for the night and phone numbers of other relatives.

My elderly mother in law received a call from a man claiming to be her nephew.  He wanted money and even said he had someone from "aduana" with him saying he had thousands of dollars but just needed a few dollars and to vouch for the "nephew" and provide her address!! Luckily we were her visiting and heard all this...he was told never to call again...Needless to say they upset my mother in law.They prey on the elderly and work on getting information via guilt.....do not answer their calls.

The police really needs to do something about this b*stard, please, if the authorities can do something about this please do so, immediately. Mr. "Angel Aviles" tried to scam one of my family members with 700 dollars, something about being detained because he was in an accident." Capture him as soon as possible!!!! Scum like this needs to be behind bars. DO NOT FALL FOR HIS TRAP!!!! He claims to be a son of "Tia Rosa." He's also saying that he's in Tijuana.

my parents recieved a call from this number. They also claimed they were coming for business and were a in Nuevo Laredo and were going to come visit. He claimed they were a nephew and was with a friend and need some money for the trip!! Luckly my mom caught him, they called the nephew the real one and he had no clue what they were speaking of, so then the other number called backed and they told him and once he knew he was caught he began to cursed at my mother and she did the same and he hung on her haha!! Please beware of  the piece of sh*t!!

I just got scammed by this person.  Same as the others calling claiming that he was a friend we meet in phoenix and said they were in a vehicle accident and had injured a little girl and she needed medical treatment and he needed 400.00 right away.  He called 5 or 6 times and had a police officer talk with me so I was stupid and believed it.  We sent 400.00 to a lady named karla aracele herrera contreras.  Then finally got a hold of the friend we relized this was a scam we tried 2 stop but they quickly picked up the money then had the nerve 2 call back and ask for more money when my wife told him she figured it out he hung up.  So please learn from my families experience don't give in to this fraud

I just received a call from a citizen here in Carrizozo NM who stated  he was called by a male subject who said he was LaLo Apodoca a long lost family member.  He stated he was coming through Carrizozo and wanted to stop and get to know him.  He later called back and stated he was involved in a vehicle accident just accross the border of El Paso Texas and needed money to pay off the police so they would let him know.  My citizen's wife was smart enough to realize this was a scam.....   Don't get caught up in this SCAM.  Don't give out any additional information of any kind...and advise the police....The phone number the "scammer" called on was --1-331-087-1180, and the male "scammer" spoke perfect spanish....When the "scammer" was told they would not be sending him any money he started to use obscene language until they hung up on him.

Recibi una llamada de este numero 3312156871, la persona que llamo fingio ser un sobrino de EU que iba a llegar de sorpresa al dia siguiente, que si lo podia recoger en el aeropuerto. El siguiente dia siguiente, antes de la hora convenida, me volvio a hablar diciendome que lo habian detenido en migracion porque no declaro el dinero que llevaba y me pidio dinero. Se envio el dinero y despues de eso descubri que se trataba de un engaño.
Moraleja: Tengan cuidado.

Got a call from this number. They were speaking in Spanish and when my daughter couldn't understand him she hung up. He called back three times. When I finally answered he said a filthy obscene thing. My daughter almost answered that call. It would be nice if they could find this scum.

I hope U find that Son of a Bi*** or that one of us does. Seriously did the same Sh*t to me and My Mom. I wonder if there is someone who can do something about it. Can the FBI do anything, if he is in Mexico it will be harder, but not impossible to find.

Got a call from this number, person speaking spanish..claiming they new me. I told him in rude aggressive English he better learn to speak english cause he was now in America..Yes I knew he was trying to scam..I am searching for him to kick his a**, I will find you.. promise.

Someone is calling using using this number and pretending to be related to you as one of your oldest nephews. Hang up on him as he is just trying to get as much personal information from individuals to call later and request money.

It appears this number also contacted someone I know and the caller claimed he and his brother were his and her oldest nephews and were at the Zaragoza bridge in Mexico near El Paso, Texas.  The individual who called himself David claimed to be their alleged aunt Rosa's sons.  The caller claimed he and his brother wanted to come visit the potential victims.  The entire story was a fabrication.  Beware of this potential scam.  DO NOT PROVIDE INFORMATION LIKE YOUR ADDRESS, additional phone numbers, family details to people giving you generic information and who claim know you.  If you don't recognize who the caller is...regardless if it's this number or another...you probably are correct in thinking you don't know them.

Me llamaron de este numero que era mi sobrino de mexico y que me iba a visitar a la media hora volvio allamar que habia tenido un accidente muy grave y que lo tenian detenido y que necesitaba dinero y que  lo mandara a nombre de NORMA BEATRIZ RIVERA PERALES, y lo mande pero me dijeron en western union que habia sido cobrado en Guadalajara no en la frontera como me dijeron ...mucho cuidado  para que no sean otra victima mas..mande 3000 us dollares
