Receiving calls from this number over long weekend and again today on my cell phone and land line. No message left and I will not pick up the calls. This is Sasktel service provider.

Very helpful tip. I did not know you could block a call from your IPhone. These scammers out of Montreal have been driving me nuts. Hope it is fixed now. I also filed a complaint against them on the do not call list violations

Spam them with HUNDREDS of text to landline messages to thank them for disregarding the DNC registry that you likely took the time to register in so as to AVOID UNWANTED TELEMARKETER a***oles such as this.  Wow.  We can survive in space but somehow are unable to stop these greedy pigs from tormenting us?!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Wow.  Nothing makes much sense to me and we cannot believe that carriers are not doing more to stop these creeps BECAUSE people are quickly dumping their landlines because of this and you just gotta know that they stand to lose ALOT of MONEY.  Just can't believe this continues to go on?? gotta go now and spam this a***ole some more.

tell your phone provider to stop selling your number. I did. Bell sells their client lists to telemarketers. virgin numbers too as Bell now owns them. So I guess i will see if they stop calling. I also advised Bell they may be looking at a lawsuit. They cant sell numbers they rent out. we pay for that service.

Just received call from this number on my cell.

Missed call from this unknown number. Left a voice mail. Thanks to the information here, I won't even bother listening to it. Blocked the caller and done.

I have got a call from thjis number at 3:13 pm local time. They would not leave a message or name on display.

Got called twice today on my cell. No message. Area Code is Montreal.

i FOUND A SURE FIRE WAY OF GETTING THEM TO STOP CALLING AND SO FAR IT HAS WORKED. When you answer your phone don't just say hello, say your local police department lol, they hang up right away and scrap your number for future calls.

I just got a call from 438 800 0481. I NEVER answer when it's a strange number and the caller's name is "unavailable."
So if the company who owns this number is reading this, here is my message to you:  
"You are wasting your time and money by calling here. However, I am using your calls to teach my children to NEVER deal with people you don't know either online, by phone, or in person."

For all you kids out there, JUST LET IT RING!

Just got a call from this number as well .......let it go to my answering machine, however they did not leave a message. Looking at other remarks about free trips etc I'm thinking this calling company is getting phone numbers from travel sites as I just coincidentally booked a trip yesterday and today I've gotten this call. Hmmmmmmm so I blocked the number.

Had several calls lately from 438-800-0481.  No voice message left.  Last night I picked up, said "Hello" but there was no answer.  Same thing happened about 5 minutes ago.  Wish whoever is responsible would drop dead.

Wanted me to log into my computer. Probably wanted to access to computer.
Entered the number online and discovered it was scam.  Beware.

There is a handsome technician in communication (the one who installs your new telephone line at home). He is ~6 foot tall. He is a rapist and a serial killer. His mother is French Canadian and his father is Greek. If you receive calls without any speaking (or with a false accent from India), be careful, you are his next victim. The day, he will ring at your door, DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR. Do not use your phone; you will not have the line because he might disconnect it. Use your cell.

P.S. Those calls have nothing to do with your credit or telemarketing. He stands in communications room, connects his phone and uses the line 438-800-0481 or others lines in Montreal, one in Toronto or one in Florida.

Phone rang, unknown & number on display. Didn't answer.  Called just as we were having supper.

They are calling every week now, a 1 438 8000 # with a different last 3 digits and they leave a message about Nassau Bahamas Cruse.

I always get this numbers on my cell a lot: 1-438-800-0481, 1-647-557-5065, 1-647-557-5019, 1-647-556-5944, 1-204-952-5340, 1-718-693-0333. It always bugs me when they never answer when I say hello on my phone.

I don't even answer my phone anymore.  Starting to question why I am even paying Bell Aliant $200 a month for a phone that bombards me with telemarketers, scammers and thieves!

Another robo-call about winning a cruise. It really makes me wonder how this company, whoever it is, can afford all of these different phone lines. Must be enough people willing to buy into their scam to profit from all of these calls. I'm on the Canadian national no-call list, but this company is somehow able to bypass this restriction. Grrr.
