3311116033 saying he was my moms nephew from mexicali and was coming in from monterrey or hermosillo. then he said he dint claim $30000 at the airport and had some "lawyer" on the phone and wanted $1500. they got her because she hasnt seen her nephew in over 10yrs. bamboozled

does anyone been able to trace back to these people?

that guy claimed to be my dads nephew. .he called him last night . Tellin him he was gonna pass by  our home and say hi and a hug ..and he had to hang up .. Supposably he was drivin passing sacramento ..my dad recieved a callthe next day .  And the guy was crying a river sayin he got in a car accident  wit a 2011 honda he was drivin a truck .. Anywho my dad believed him  him  went to the bank got the money out and sent it to elektra  a money order  place ..and my dad was suspicious about  when they kept callin about the info ..and  he told him if your my nephew you wouldnt do me dirty and he got offended . We went back to the place and asked to cancel because my dad  called hus brother from mexico .  And asked avout his nephew ..and come to find out his nephew is sick and could barly talk ..  So as of today August 24 2012...  .we hope that they dont get our money :( ..& hope that  they get cought plz help

they called me asking for $500 because they got in an accident in tijuana mexico going to san francisco to get a boat. i then looked up the direction they gave me and found the place is in guadalajara which is 335 miles from mexico city. that are reported in illinois and jalisco mex. that should be reported to both police and caught NOW!!!

Last night we received a weird call. They kept saying calling me there "tia" aunt how are you ? After saying "good who is this?" They said guess who? I told them I had no clue and couldn't guess. I said I was very bad at guessing. Finally they said let me talk to my uncle I said how can I let you talk to him if you wont tell me who you are and he hung up. I'm very close with all of my cousins and realized I did not know who he was. Curious on who it was I checked my phone and tried matching the number with the ones I have and it didn't match finally  I looked up the area code and relied it was indeed from Mexico but I had no idea whose number it was and that is why I looked up the whole number and come upon this site. Hopefully this doesn't keep going on.
Anoche recivimos una llamada diciendo "tia como esta?" Yo jugando le dije "bien y tu?" el me contesto "bien si sabe quien soy?" Le resopndi "no quien eres?"Me contesto "adivine" le dijo yo "no puedo adivinar soy muy mala para adivinar" y  al insistio que adivinara. Una vez mas le dije que no sabia adivinar por fin el me dijo "aver paseme a mi tio" Yo le dije que no por que no me diecia quien era y me colgo. Yo asendome pasar por mi mama supe que no conocia la voz y conosco a mis primos muy bien en Mexico. Y no era ninguno de ellos. Me entro la curiosidad y decidi busacar de donde era el area 331 y mire que si era de Mexico y buske el numero completo y mire esta pagina. Ojala atrapen al que esta asiendo esto.

cuidado no le contesten ni le den ninguna informacion personal reportenlo de inmediato a la policia es puro fraude se hacen pasar por familiares tuyos que tuvieron un accidenteasegurate de que te den a ti primero tada la informacion que necesitas de la persona que te esta hablando

My mon just got off the phone with this person! His story was that he was a nephew from Mexico and had my mom guess his name. Once she threw out a name, he said yes and said he was in Tijuana and wanted our address. My mom without hesitating gave it to him! He said he wouldn't be calling us back till tomorrow morning at 10am! Once off the phone, my mom realized he was not her nephew and I contacted my real cousin on fb, and truth be told: we got scammed!!! I am reporting this to the police ASAP! BEWARE!!! I hope this person gets caught!!!

Not only is it after 10pm here and I have small children, when he asked if I speak Spanish, I said no and he hung up on me. Creepy thing is, he knew my name. At least I was able to find this info when I searched it online.

This person from this number called my dad saying it was a nephew from Mexico visiting the Washington state My dad without thinking gave his address.  This guy said he is on his way, but the real nephew is in Mexico right now!  My dad tried calling back, but the operator says to check the number.  We will report it to the authorities, so if this happens to anyone else, do the same please.

Estamos reporando este numero a las autoridades, asi que por favor hagan lo mismo. The area code is from somewhere in the state of illinois.

Same exact person called us, and repeated the same story!  This is a terrible man!  I SURE HOPE HE GETS CAUGHT AND REALLY PUT IN JAIL!

I just recieved a call claiming to be my cousin. The person knew my name and said he was going to stop by. I just realized it was not true. Be careful and check sources.I was about to check with my family for pictures of this person, but realized it was fake before I checked.

I just received a call from a man saying he was my nephew from Mexico. I HAVE NO RELATIVES IN MEXICO! He asked for my first name and when I asked what the last name was, he knew it too. Then he hung up.

They called my mom saying it was her nephew from mexicali , its all a joke and whoever is doing this deserves hell. !Si eres hispano hablante NO lo creas son mentiras y quieren tu dinero , Son HIJOS DE SU ***** MADRE!

I received a call from a Spanish speaker, coming from this number.  He made it sound like he was my long lost cousin. The guy knew my name and my husband's name.  He was probing for information, when I mentioned one of my cousin's names, he said it was him.  That cousin just got out of the hospital & no way would be calling me to tell me he was visiting any time soon.  When I called him on it he immediately hung up.  Recibi una llamada de un hombre diciendo ser mi primo.  Sabia mi nombre y el nombre de mi esposo.  Cuando descubri que no era mi primo, me colgo imediatamente.  Por favor tengan cuidado y no den sus datos personales a extraños! OJO amigos!

Fake call. They tried to get me to send money to "a cousin" in Guadalajara. Said he had had an
accident, needed the money immediately. Also, had another person  talk to me pretending that he was a policeman.  Don't believe a word they say! It's all a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!

These ppl are calling my inlaws in Mexico, saying he's a nephew. There little act is not working anymore.

They just called twice. Calling my grandmother Auntie and my mother cousin. They said that they were coming from Mexico to SF to buy something and that they were coming to visit us.

They call with the same story about a cousin.

Once again, they tried to get money from us.  Don't believe calls from this number.  They called us and said the same stories. Thank god we are smarter that they are.

This number called my house asking to speak to my mom saying they were my cousins from mexico once my mom picked up they said that if she remembered him the nephew she left behind she kept asking him she didnt have any idea who it was so they hung up and recalled the house and I answered and told him she wasnt available and asked again who was calling and all he did was hang up my mom knew it was a fake call because it had happened to her friend from work so if it happens to any of you out there its a fake call dont fall for it Im also calling to report this number and getting the authorites involved alos the news media so my fellow Mexican People wont fall for any TRICKS these JERKS have up there sleeve!!

They call my wife as well just now saying that they he was a cousing from Mexico, be careful because they try to involve you saying that they are cousings or newphews, BE CAREFUL and DON"T GIVE ANY NAME OR ANY MONEY.

Person pretended to know me was coming from Mexico to visit us in S.F., called just after he passed border got in a car accident.  He had pessos and they wanted american dollars since he was from Mexico.  Wanted money from me.  I said I couldn't help he hung up.
