This just happened to my mother this morning! Total scam!!!

They Called my dauther and they told her that -this is your cousin and my daughter reply saying ohh my cousin Andy and he goes yes-- then they said that he was involved into an accident in Mexicali and that they won't let him go until be paid for the damages--- and I lost 600 dlls.. That not send them money....WARNING THIS IS A SCAM --SCAM.  SCAM SCAM

Called asking if i knew who he was? he was a cousin from mexico that did not match any of my family members. just clicked on him. Said his mom was Guadalupe?

called every early saying it was my nephew and he needed money because he got into an accident. one he called back and asked him for more information like his parents name he got made and started yelling and demanded us to send him money. DONT ANSWER ITS A SCAN!!!

TOTAL SCAN! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. PURA TRANSA, NO MANDEN DINERO.

They called saying it was my cousin from Mexico and to guess who it was.....

Caller called and said he was a cousin from El Salvador and that he is coming tomorrow to visit ... My mom and I tried calling back a few minutes later and Verizon messaged said number had been changed or disconnected.

Hang up, no message, but when I called back, recorded message from Verizon stated the number was disconnected or no longer in service - so whoever they are, they're spoofing real numbers.
