Hello Victum of SCam.  I am so sorry they got you.  You were a kind sole and were concerned for what you thought was a family member and wanted to help.  This is there game.  They get information on the net (Facebook) and then try to locate you via the white pages with the information on the net.  If you have FB be very weary and block all information so no outsiders can see anything.  Once they have information on you they try and get you off guard with some sob story and their calls always have a sense of urgency so when they call they do not even give you time to think.  They prey on the elderly and this is who they try to track down.  They are scum.

Be  very careful and pass the word around.

Smiliar number called me 331-291-6024 posing as my cousin, and said he was on his way from mexico then hung up. Called back and said he got stoped by a check point they found a gun in his truck and officers will make a deal with him. They needed a few hundred to get out of his situation. I believed him only because he had all they names in the family rite and also he said not to say anythiing to his family becuz they would be ashamed of him<-- He really is a good guy & his father would have been pissed if this happend. I told my mother and she panicd as well sent $300 to an "officer" who said to send him the money. Then they called back saying they will not release him they wanted $1,500 or he will get thrown in jail. I had called my uncle after the money was sent only to find that my cousin was not comming to the US and was at home fine. I tryed to get my money back but it was too late operator told me it had been cashed in * MONTERREY - NUEVO LEON *.  IF someone has any information on who this is or could be please let me know they scammed me they knew all my familys names & I want to catch these DiCks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lady from my church wanted me to check out this number because it seem so suspicious- This spanish speaking man knew Real Family names-but his suppose "facts' DID NOT ADD UP! She was lefted upset cause she had given slight detail information but not her personal info- Then realizing it was not the right person, she said, ' do you think this is a joke- Your playing games and I will not have it!! He HUNG UP immediately. I realize that, he had called earlier today when I went to her house for lunch. I'm soo thankful for the other stories that are shared and it is important to tell others. I work for an attorney- and I was going  to call and give a false name- to get him to say his name- but it a fake number (331) 291-6035. Then I googled it and was able to read this information and inform MYSELF and sister D.M.

Yhis number called me twice.

Person called me acting like he knew me. I had NO CLUE who it was, he was not requesting any $$ but said he knew me from Tucson, AZ. I do not know anybody there!

This same person also called my parents n pretended to be family..Stating that he was on his way over from Mexico..he  knew our family's last name n even said he was the son of one of my uncles who had passed away..He said he was traveling with his wife n even offered for us to speak with her...He later called and said he was in a car accident..by then we had already invistigated n knew he was a fraud...n told him to call later..Beware this man is up to no good n don't give away ANY INFO.

He called my mom and he was very convincing but luckily I was there and knew it was all b***s***.  He's probably said these lines a million times and makes it very convincing.  Watch out everyone he's still trying to scam people.

This guy is calling latinos pretending he is family. BEWARE he's a total fake!! He's a total loser trying to trick whoever he can.

We had the same type of call requesting money becuase a cousin of my wife was driving in Tijuana and was involve in a accident that injured a little boy that must be taken to a hospital. He wanted for us to Western Union $1,000 and even had a police office requesting to verify his personal information(Mother Name etc.)  If he didn't not received the money, they would held him in the hospital. He got angry when we refuse to do it. We offer to take the money personaly to the hospital, no other location, but need it to speak to little boys parents. We are only 2 hours drive to Tijuana. The reason we offer that to see how real his story was. He just hung up and never call again.  Becarful with these criminals and tell everybody.

Be careful, this person called my mother saying it was her brother and something about a very bad accident in Mexico and he needed money right away. Anyhow to summarize it was all a scam, my mother almost send  the little savings she has (she gets Soc. Sec). The employee working at Walmart refused to wire the money until my mother called Mexico to verify if the story was true. Sure enough her brother was fine not involved in any accident. I am very thankful for this employee because she took the time to find out why my mother was such a nervous wreck and eventually prevented my mother from losing her savings. I just wish I knew how to help these people get caught. If you are on this page you will notice the hundreths of numbers and similar calls. The jerk that called my mother also used another number with prefix 333, I checked that page and double the amount of scam calls appear on that page. Let friends and family know about this, especially if they live near the border.

Recieved a Spanish speaing call from this number.  When I replied that I didn't speak Spanish, I was sworn at in English.
