The do not call list only works for real customers, this sounds more like scammers trying to get money/ID or sell drugs illegally. I think you can report it to the FBI.

Seriously, why would anyone come on this site & be rude to someone who took the time to warn people. First, these international pharmacy scams are common and often the scammers are based in India. So perhaps the person who reported this read the news, perhaps he got scammed or knows someone who has, or perhaps he works in law enforcement. I agree completely with him, whoever he is because it's really not that hard to figure out that this is an international illegal scammer trying to sell drugs, steal credit card numbers, or both. Lets look at the facts: A) background noise, a poor connection, the accent and diction of the caller and the information given in response to questions don't support the caller's claims B) a legitimate pharmacy in Canada is extremely unlikely to solicit orders for narcotics at all much less over the phone from U.S. residents who have not placed an order or presented a prescription (pretty common knowledge that drug dealers in the U.S. don't make cold calls) and C) the caller tried to get a credit card number or other personal information. So thank you for the warning Richie, I thought the same thing when they called me. And to the rude poster who wants to diagram sentences: this is an Internet site, not a grammar test. If you honestly don't understand the thoughtful warning that a call from this number could waste people's time and lead to identity theft, then, I promise, you are the only one.

Got a call from this number, but when I answered, no one was there.  I answered because I have blue tooth
and I was driving, so I couldn't check the number.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  I
always google to find out who is calling, though.  I put it on my reject list!  What happened to the do not call list!

I'm glad I have my phone go to a fax machine after 2 1/2 rings.  These people are relentless.  Thank God they don't have my cell number.  Everyone should hook their phone to a fax and let them be annoyed by the noise.

Tired of these a-holes continuing to call despite multiple requests to remove the number I was assigned.

I called back this number. It is a pharmacy and ask me if I want Viagra, or other prescription medicine...  They answer the phone.

Called asking for my brother who moved out several years ago.

Got a call from this number trying to sell me drugs. I don't do drugs.

I get calls from about a dozen random numbers over the course of the month and they're all the same. Looks like this is a new one they are using. They're always trying to sell me narcotics and telling me I won something. Sad to say if you answer an unexpected call and AND THEY'RE INDIAN WITH BROKEN ENGLISH, REST ASSURED, it's a SCAM!

Most of these people phish old numbers and use them as their caller ID so when you answer here in the US, it's a US number. Problem is they say their Canadian Pharmacy, but they're really an East Indian trying to scam you and steal you credit card numbers by getting you to buy something over the phone. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND BE A VICTIM OF ID THEFT.

I did not answer. iPhone showed no info about the number like the state, etc. as it usually does; nor did it mark it as "Unknown".
