called a year ago saying it was a nephew not knowing that i dont have any brothers or sister. got a called last night saying he was my grandmas brother not even.

received a call (in spanish) saying my friend was coming to cozumel to visit and was flying into cancun the next day and would call me in the morning. ( i did not recognize the number so i checked on line and found this site). my "visitor" called to say he arrived but was stuck in customs and needed money. i asked to speak to the customs agent and some corny sounding guy got on the phone making up some story. i told him he was nuts if he thought i would believe his story. thanks for this site for giving me a heads up on this scam

this same number called and pretended to a cousin from salinas, california he said he was on his way to mexico.  we reported this number to the extorsion hotline at 089 from mexico. report all incidents so we can do away with these idiots!!!!!!

That man call yesterday in Spanish,ask for my husband..,introduced himself as( Name of my husband's cousin 's son). My husband was not home.
Today he called again told my husband that he came to SF from Juarez buying a boat.asked if my Husband wants anything from Juarez,( men..he is damn nice),my husband said he didn't want anything & wished him a good trip...Ten minutes later he called again & said  he crashed a guy's car & needs money to pay...
This man had no English,he kept calling I had no spanish,that made us realize that my husband's nephew speaks English ,so ...what the heck????.my husband call his Cousin in Juarez turned out that there had no one going to SF.
 That guy called back,my husband told him in Spanish " why don't you go find a job instead of  doing this scam?" .He hung up immediately.his phone number 331-530-6464..

also got a call from "cousin" coming from Mexico to pick up a boat and wrecked his truck and needed to pay the guy he hit $1500 to repair the truck. Guy was very insistent. Caledl 20 times in 3 hours.

331 530 6464...they keep on calling my parents saying they are relatives from mexico in need of money...every time my parents ask who's their parents are to be able to identify them as a relative they hang up and call the next day...

We just got a call on 5/22/2013 at 8:43 pm PST from a man who claimed in Spanish that he was my dad's cousin calling from Mexico. The number came up as "Name Unavailable."

Just got the same weird call, said he was a nephew and coming to town to get a boat. WTF!!!

My dad received a phone call from a "cousin" asking for money and coming to "visit" It was all fraud

This d***hit called pretending to be a relative asking for 3K for a truck of his that broke down on the way here from Tijuana.  When I asked him about how he crossed the border without a green card he just hung up.

This same idiot called me pretending to be my brother traveling from Mexico to the US. His story was that his truck broke down and needed 3k and that he was in San Diego. I noticed his voice was not my brother's so when I began to grill him he just hung up like the bi*** he must be. I've alerted all my relatives and confirmed my real brother is alive and well at home.   These scumbag pieces of shut need to be put away in jail. They are such pieces of crap incapable of even earning minimum wage they must resort to scamming those of us who do work. Too bad for them we're smarter.

Called my dad said he was nephew from mexico, then called a few times he was going to visit and crashed wanted $1000-$2000. When dad refused he stoped calling.

My mother received calls from this number on January 16th, 17th, and 18th. The man was claiming to be her brother. My mother only answered on the 17th and we have ignored the calls.

Received a called last night 1/16/13. Pretending to be my nephew on his way from Mexico to the USA. Called a second time and said he was in Bakersfield.
