I just got a call from a guy saying he was my cousin and when I told him I didn't have family outside Los Angeles he then changed his story saying that his the son of my husband and when I asked him how old he was he said 17 and I told him my husband is only 25 how was that possible, he hurried and said we have an emergency in Mexico and to please call him back I just laughed cause I know it's a scam.

My father got one of this calls last friday They told my dad he was my cousin and that he was at guadalajara airport going To ontario. And that he needed money..My dad send this guy $1100..after we found out it was a fraud.god bless this people.

A mexican guy, speaking spanish pretended to be my cousin, but never identified himself. Asking how long it will take for him to take my home, he was pushing me to give info about how long it will take for him to get to my place. He was trying to get directions. He said the he crossed the border from Laredo. He was asking for my cell #. When he noticed that I would not give information, he hang up.

I live in Oklahoma and we received the same call. This time he was asking for money. This is a scam beware!!!

Got a call from a guy speaking spanish calling me "uncle".  He tried to get information about my relatives etc. while asking me to figure out who he was - supposedly one of my nephews.  He also asked if I was going to be home later.  It seems like a scam where they try to get your family information to try and extort money from family members.  Beware!
