Called on 7/13/2013

BEWARE this is a SCAM..they are Spanish speaking people who pretend to be a cousin. They state that they will visit but later in the day they say they have been in an accident and that they need 1,200 to pay off the driver.
DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION!!!

¡ Cuidado con esto es una estafa...son Español habla de personas que pretenden ser un primo. Afirman que visitarán, pero más tarde dicen que han sufrido un accidente y que necesitan 1.200 para pagar al conductor.
NO DAR NINGUNA INFORMACIÓN!

The caller spoke Spanish and kept calling me prima. And if I knew who he was. I told him no he just kept asking me to guess who he was. To try to remember what good looking cousin I had.

Wow!!!! What a waste of time!! trying to scam anyone who is willing to help a family member.  Thank God I did not give him any additional information but I am reporting this to the IC3.gov website and eventually they will get the SCAMMERS!!! Note to everyone out there we are in a recession money is hard to get and a magic phone call is suppose to take away your hard earned money just because part of our culture teaches us to never leave familia hanging, well after this morning from this COUSIN OF MINE who was involved in a minor accident and now needed me to bail him out since he originally had called because he was on his way to VISIT us all by the sudden needed $1,200.00 to pay the individual who's little girl had a few cuts from broken glass and the $1,200.00 was going settle EVERYTHING!! Thank GOD I do not work and told him I was broke and poor guy hung up on me!!! LOL be careful who you answer your calls to I learned my lesson...thanks PRIMO?????

Good for your mom! these callers are scammers! i got a caller too! i almost beleive them!!!! they spoke spanish too! I tried calling spanish radios stations to alert the spanish community but could not get anyone! also call police but they could  not help cause there was no fraud commited! they"re # was disconnected right away once I caught on to them! the caller told me that they were in san diego, ca on their way to my place, then they call back saying that they had just got in to car accident! &people got hurt! that's when i knew they were trying to scamm me!! so i then told them not to do anything! cause a had relative that was a police & they were going to help them... that's when the supposed nephew got angry! & started to scream told me to "callate tia" eschuchame tia" * well i just play along & told them that their "tu tio el policia" de san diego va llegar para ayudarte! & wll he "sobrino" hunged up on me!  & their # 333 are code was disconnected!!! SCAMMER!!!! Russian mafia!!!! they get # from what i beleive is "western union" or other wired services outthere!! carefull folks!! don't give out your # when wiring $ !!!!

Just got a call from this # posing as my nephew? spoke in spanish. but I recognised his voice! he call about month 1/2 ago same thing pretenting to be my nephew!! they are SCAMMERS!!!! people be advised just hang up on them! or tell them you are broke with no $ to give!make up a fake story & trust me they will hang up on you!!  or say u will call police!!! or play along and Mess with them it's a Russian Mafia they speak spanish well! and there only objective is to get you to wire them $$$ Do not give them any info such as credit cards!! ***people be advise don'T beleive them & do not wired $$$ or give info!!!  their # will be disconnect right away once your on to them! i tried calling the # & sure enought it was no longer in service! I'm telling you folks do not Believe them!! scammers big time!!!  pretent you can't hear them! keep asking them, say what? what did you say? or "que" no tengo familia!! en mexico!  SCAMmmer big time!! Russian mafia!!!! & next time you folks wire $ to mexico do not put your phone # on the receipt that's how they might be getting your #  western union, any of those services!! carefull out there!!!

Someone called my house trying to pose as my cousin, my mother answered and quickly caught on to the fraud, responding only "who are you?" When ever he tried to get any information out of her, after many failed attempts and numerous calls, he got annoyed and cussed out my mother, this was all in Spanish so English speakers may not be targeted but Spanish speakers will.
