Recieved a call tonight from a man saying he was coming by bus to Merida Mexico and that he was coming down to buy land. He would be staying in a five star hotel and would be arriving at 9 AM. He wanted me to guess who was calling. When I finally asked his name, he hung up.

For what it's worth, I got a call from a man on a Saturday saying that he was coming in a long distance away and did I want to go riding. Seeing that I have a motorcycle, and had recently talked with my dentist about doing the same thing, I thought it was him, but something didn't seem right. Today I got a cell phone call from the same number and the same man said he was confirming our ride tomorrow. This time I pressed for more information and I keep asking for his name. He said he was my dentist and when I asked his name again, he said Mike, I told him I didn't know any Mike's and I quickly heard three beeps and our connection was over. Strange, very strange. Next time I get a call from someone that I "don't think" I know, I will trust my instincts and just hang up.

My family living in Mexicali got a call from this number, caller said was a family member comming to visit us from Zacatecas, Mexico but they was in trouble at airport an wanted money.

Got a call Friday from a guy named John, after he did the guessing game,  looking for property to buy.  He said he would see me on Saturday.  When I told him I didn't remember him he hung up.  I tried to call him back and of course---no answer!  We also live in Ensenada.

got a call from this guy called mike fisher, wants me to go in a fishing competition. strange, told me he met me several months ago, he said he was coming to ensenada to meet me.

Do not think in only want money offenders are people of Mexico would have us believe that only people in our family are my also tried to make me the same thing three times and I will call my phone saying he is a cousin of mine who this needs help in tijuana mexico

We received 3 calls from this number.  The last being, supposedly, from the border in Tijuana and wanting help because he was bringing a large amount of money across and got caught.  He told us he was buying land in the area and that was why he was coming down to Baja.  We live in San Matias which is 12 miles, approximately, east of Valle de Trinidad.  He originally got hold of a friend here and she thought he wanted us because he said he knew us from Phoenix and his name was Mike Hunter..  He then called us and through trial and error thought it was Scott. We happen to know someone from Phoenix by that name.  I think everyone better watch out!!

Man called and said he was coming to see me in two hours.  Ask me to guess his name.  I guessed "Terry".  He said I was right.  But Terry was a made up name.  He said he was coming to see me.  I live in La Mision, Baja California.

I picked up the phone and talked to a man who called me by name and wanted me to guess who he was which I told him I didn't know him.  He was speaking English and sounded American.  I live in the San Quintin valley of Mexico.  He said he was from Phoenix and he was going to come and see me tomorrow as he was coming to buy land.  I kept asking who he was.  He never gave me his name but finally he asked if I was Cheryl Beck, I think he said.   I said no and he hung up.

Sorry I meant to say I did not pick up the phone.  A word of caution:  Presently in the Ensenada and San Quintin area extortion phone calls on are the rise so be careful.

dDd not pick up phone, and the caller did not leave a message.  I don't know anyone at this number. We live in Baja Norte.
