They called harrasing me saying I owe a loan for american cash and i have never recieved a loan from them. So my wife proceeded to talk to them and she asked him why was he being so rude and he said that how he talk to criminals. When asked how did they get my home number he begin to curse me out.

I also got a call from them today at work. Threatened me with arrest at 11.00 tomorrow unless I paid 3500.00 today. This is a scam. Have been receiving calls nonstop for a week now.

They called me and said that i was getting arrested and im just scared :( i think its a scam though

They called me telling me that I owe $8484.87 and that the cops and fbi will be at my job on Monday. When asked how i  could resolve it they said to pay $325. I said I didn't have that then they said well $200. I was so nervous until he got rude and said "oh well no money off to jail you go".

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I rcvd a call today and I told them to send a letter to my home and my lawyer will contact their law firm. I told them not to call back, thanked them and hung up the phone. It seemed to work.

Keep calling me this number on september first week and said his from burue of investigation and legal department, he also said had a complain against me in regards of my loan if I'm failure to pay they gonna send a sheriff in my address, and instructed me to buy a money pack and call them,I'm scared because I had loan from August but deferent amount and he said late charge fees was apply so went up double equivalent from my original loan.I spoked him @ 11:40am it end up 2pm because he said because I'm late one hr they charged  me $1,000 plus $789.00 and he also if I pay that amount the charge will up to $8,000 and five years in jail,after that he hung up me.

My 17 yr. old son has received several calls on his cell number and at his place of employment from this scammer advising he would be arrested for a delinquent payday loan which he doesn't have and cursed him repeatedly.  I contacted the mayor at Fort Deposit, AL and he transferred me to the Chief of Police.  I gave the Chief this phone number and this crook is now under investigation.  I plan to contact the FBI next if these calls persist.

i as well have gotten the same phone call saying i owe money for a loan that i did not apply for and they told me that i would be arrested at my work tomorrow morning and they have all my info which is scary including my ssn # when i told them i dont work there any more they asked me for my home address i told them that if this was a real law firm they would of had that info already when i asked how much i owed they first said i owed 10000 then they called me again two hours later and told me i owed 8250 bucks then they told me that they never called me before this call witch is bull my cell has 100 phone calls in 2 hours

I'm getting this too!! Calling my house and my husbands cell phone. When I told him not to call our numbers again, he stated... "I WILL call you, Every day... All day!!!". He called me 14 times in 7 min. after I hung up on him.

The number called me at work and harrassed me saying I would be arrested.  When checking with the person whom I knew I had a loan they had explained it was a scam and do not send any money!  Thank you Lord!

I was called at my place of employment.  They asked for my address and home phone number.  I instructed themtaht if they were legitimate they would already have that info.  He stated he was dealing with some offshore accounts of mine...which i do nothave any.
I hung up on him and he called right back. I told him to never call this number again,and if they truly need to reach me and are not a scam, they can use my home number...which i know they do not have.

I got the same call. No explination as to what the call was about no name or anything.,. Told me I was going to be arrested on Monday... I havent done anything so I know its some kinda of scam.

Went and googled fort deposit al and got their website that included the phone number for the mayor.  am going to call and make him aware of this ridiculousness...see where that goes

Just hung up from this #  - spoke to 2 different foreigners - said I had a pennding lawsuit and for a loan I took from American Cash and that sheriff would be out to arrest me tomorrow - I asked what time - said 11:00.   Then hung up!   Just called them back and asked the name of their company  - Lega Baker Lawfirm!    I will be calling the Better Business Bureau to report this!

got a call from them before and they threatened me with a lawsuit, spoke to my attorney who said it was BS, they called today and i stuck up for myself then they swore at me and hung up, called them back 2x, my lawyer told me if they call again to file a harassment lawsuit...so i will.
