suspicious call about a "package"

This Person from this number is making a constant call. How one can report to a proper authority to do about it

This is the name and address of the phone number. It looks like a scam I wouldn't give them any information.

Recieved a call from this number and no one said anything when I answered. I have received several calls from this number, but noone says anything when I answer.

Just got a call from this number. I am a television rep .... so going to take this downstairs to our investigation dept.

Annoying and I too, want to know what the intentions are for calling.

They have called our house 3-4 times in the past week.  They don't speak, don't leave messages, the "number" (which certainly isn't theirs) is supposedly out of order.  I'm calling my phone company for info on who really is calling and the police to report their harrassing behavior towards everyone.  If they are thieves, I hope they try and break in when I'm home so I can shoot them.

Ive been getting calls from the same number and no luck at finding out who it is. Ive gotten at least 5 calls from this number in the last few weeks.   When I answer, nobody says anything, they just hang up.   When I dont answer, they dont leave a message.

Same as the rest... someone from this number is still calling and not talking.

As for those with unlisted numbers, there's only so many 4-digit numbers that can be associated with a particular prefix.  Random dialing will eventually generate your number.  Also, even if your number is unlisted with the phone company *now*, the previous house that number was assigned to may not have been, and unlisted numbers still make their way onto the web.  Sad, but it's hard to keep anything secret any more.  :(

Same experience as others.  twice.  My fear is that it might be people checking to see who DOESN'T answer.  Casing for daytime break-ins and such.

Got a call last night, no message. phone said # was from Reidsville. how annoying

I received a call from this number but I did not answer.  Whoever called did not leave a message.  I did a reverse phone lookup and all I got was a Reidsville, NC landline.  Like the others, I called and got a message that this number was temporarily unavailable.

I also got a call from this number. Did not answer phone. Agree to the previous posts... think we must be very careful.

I called this number also and got the temp out of service.

There are such things as fake numbers and names for caller IDs so that the caller isn't able to be identified.

Called my house on the 24th of February did not say anything, I called the number back and it said temporarily out of service. The number just called my house AGAIN and this time I picked up and hung right back up!

I recieved the same call and did not answer but returned the call and it stated it was temporarily out of service. What pisses me off is my number is supose to be unlisted.

I just got one of those calls.  They also said they were from the News and Record. I currently have my paper being held.  They hung up when I asked how long they show my paper on hold for.
