Called me this morning but did not leave a message.

rec'd call on cell.  did not answer.  no message

I have had 2 voice mail messages from 336-283-0521 in the last few days. They leave messages that repeatedly say " Is Angela there?"   It is not anyone I know and I would like to keep them from calling me.

They have called me before but never left a message. Today they called at 8:40 a.m. I thought it was against the law to call before 9? In any case, this time I picked up but didn't say anything. They hung up. I have now "saved" the number in my phone as DONOTANSWER. Can't stop them from calling and waking me up, but at least now I don't have to worry that I've missed something important. Because by saving the number, I KNOW it's not somebody I want to talk to. Thanks to all of you brave people who actually engaged in a conversation with them and were able to determine the scam factor.

The number is FAKE / SPOOFED to show up as a local number.    They change it to reflect one that would be local to your area.   Makes it seem like they are working for your community.   A nice, new "personal" touch by this giant professional soliciting firm.

BTW - before you give to some goober company calling you in the phone, try and get their company name - or the real charity  for which they are soliciting for - and then go to your State website for licensed or 'approved' solicitors and look up the percentage that they actually give to the charity.    Most are appallingly low.  You're better off to just give it directly to the organization than these goobers.   Some get as little as 8% on the dollar - that's less than sales tax rate in some states!

Another call from the SUPPOSED "F.O.P."  - this number is SPOOFED to show up on your caller ID - they ARE NOT located in North Carolina.

This is a large, professional soliciting company that pays the 'charity' a tiny fraction of what they take in.   Ever met someone who owns a Lamborghini?  How about three?  Now you know one.   This moron.

BTW - when you call back the number that called you - you do get a recorded message asking you to press one for more info and an option to have them call you back, but it doesn't even allow you to leave your number.  It's as fake as this goober making the calls.

Answering machine picked up call while I was in bed.  Live caller evidently didn't listen to the recorded message.  He kept asking by name if I was there.  Whoever it is must think I'm an idiot for picking up without knowing who is calling.

Claimed to be from fop wanting a contribution. Didn't want to take no for an answer so I just hung up. will not answer any more calls from this number.

Received a call at 8:00 a.m.I did not answer.  They have called my number quite a few times in the past.
I never answer when I see this no.. Would be nice if they  would stop because I am up late and sleep later in the morning.It would be great if we could just block some of these scan calls.

is a big, fat, outrageous scam. A few months ago I happened to place an order for a 20 page paper through their website. With ?transparent? writer reviews and ?affordable? prices, I thought I was making the best choice available. I was wrong. (A bit of background information: I am a senior in college who wanted a sample paper to help me complete my comps). When I first saw website, it didn?t seem horrible. They promised low prices and their writers seemed American or at least fluent in the English language (stupid me thinking that their writers? names were real). But what was advertised as $7.50 per page quickly spiraled into $25 and $30 per page. On top of that, I realized that if you didn?t buy from a pricey writer, your paper was going to be complete s***. Like illegible. Like an F. So after I placed my order with a writer named God-knows-what in real life, I sat and waited for my paper. I had written a draft of my paper already and was going to use this to ease the process. What I got was COMPLETE GARBAGE. The paper was formatted incorrectly, it didn?t reach the page limit I PAID FOR, and didn?t even address the topics I requested. I think assumes that students who use their service are complete idiots. Some may be. But I am not. I ordered a paper with them because I care about my grades (who doesn?t when paying 50K a year for school) and wanted to IMPROVE my dissertation. So, what did they do when I called to ask for a partial refund? They told ME that nothing could be done. That the terms and conditions I agreed too were set in stone and that it was my fault for having selected the writer that I did.

Essentially they told me that they can take my money but not offer a shred of accountability when one of their employees f**** up. WOW. And then here?s the best part: when I called to speak with someone about giving a negative review of their service, they told me they would find out where I go to school and make sure I would always regret speaking poorly about them. Real professional. So, as an aspiring computer programmer, A REALLY PISSED OFF CUSTOMER, and someone who doesn?t give a flying f*** that these scam artists have my contact information, I created this website to inform students around the world that is a scam. I encourage fellow students who have been scammed by this company to give their reviews on as well. The more reviews the merrier.

As I dug a deeper review of past, I found some pretty scary things. Like for instance that their writers are almost all Pakistani (over 30% of their daily web traffic comes from the country) and use FAKE AMERICAN NAMES to pretend they are native English speakers. Isn?t it time this b***s*** be investigated? I don?t care what you think about paper writing services (whether you believe they are ethical or not) but at least take down the companies that are pure scams like

That?s right, this website is one of the top 12,000 most viewed in F****NG PAKISTAN.
Why? Because they are the ?English speaking writers? this f****d up company hires. I have also found evidence that suggests they have other writers in India and the Philippines. I know of a couple of companies that offer real English writers and I thought was one of them. Turns out they?re just a bunch of liars.

The scam is real. They are thieves who could care less about you. Maybe you?ve had a couple decent papers from them. But sleep well knowing that they will take any measure to screw you over.

Fraternal Order of Police asking for donations.  Didn't want to hear that I am not interested, so I let them go on and on about their cause.  Now blocking the number as I do with all of these.  I assume they are nonprofit but did not say so.  Too many of these organizations spend too much money on salaries and fund raising and too little on actual benefits.  Thus, I stick to what I know and can verify.

They call, never leave a message. Everytime they call it is on a Sunday? What the heck? If it were legit, they wouldn't do that. Furthermore if it is the Fraternal Police whatever...they might want to start some PR work...and get that in order, before they start begging for donations.

I simply will not answer calls from numbers that I do not recognize or has an ID name such as Local Call Area. 10 times out of 10, I won't answer even if the ID says who they are because it's usually a request for a donation especially those 202 numbers from Washington. Some advice. Always google the number and you'll be able to find out something about the caller especially if they have been calling others.

I don't answer calls when I don't recognize the number or if the info is not provided . . . . ESPECIALLY when  it's Sunday afternoon!

Same thing - they call; they never speak.  I say, "ok, YOU called me, speak up."  Nothing.

People should know that when you get a phone call - when they won't send you info in the mail . . .that's because it is a scam.... at most, perhaps 2%  (TWO percent) of what they raise actually goes to the stated charity/organization . . . the rest goes in someone's pocket.

Same for this so called "fraternal order of police" call people are getting.  This is NOT really for the police.  Call and ask.  The real police are not allowed to phish for money.

called at 8:30 am - asked for my ex -husband of 14 years ago who has never lived in my present home. I said no he is not here----He started right in with lengthy spill about Fraternal Order of Police.
I interjected "I need to be taken off this list" and he never let up and I just hung up.

This number has repeatedly called and hung up within a 5-10 minute time line. They don't leave a message and hang up half way through the answering machine message sometimes, the number is also restricted. I haven't answered it due to I have no idea who it is, and because I feel it might be a scam call that every time you answer they get money whether or not they talk to you.

Have received a call every day for the past week. The caller will not leave a message on our answering machine. If we answer the call, they hang up.  One more call and I'll add it to our "Call Reject" service.

NC fraternal order of police reminding me to buckle up, then asked for donations.

Called 8:00 am, unwanted and nuisance call. No message.

Live, person said they are with the Police organization for prevention of crime and gave 3 packages to select from, $25, $35, and $45 donation.  Call showed to be from Wintson Salem.
