Tela Marketing opperation! REQUEST information then hangs up in your face when they dont get the positive response they are looking for! Total waste of time!!!!

This number was call me on 8:45 pm and talk supper fast . I think nobody understand , I tell please slowly , he say he call from duke energy and ask me " r u driving ? " and a lot the stuppit thing ? So may be people use this number is crazy ..

Well, add me to the list that got called by this number. I did not answer because I don't answer numbers I don't know. When it came up on my caller id on my cell phone it just said the 336 3972536 and that is a north carolina call. I've read through the posts here and if it is some sort of research company, then why do they call people on saturdays??  I would think that a company only calls Monday through Friday, but I may be wrong

Yea, Bellomy called me too but theyre legit - didn't try to sell me nothing.  I've hear  of them from years ago and I think thy are ok.  They were professional and it's nice to have someone just want to hear your thoughts and not force sell you something.

You know, thanks for being straight-forward.  I got a call and googled and, yea, the Bellomy research interviewer was nice and professional and, overall, I did the survey and I know that ultimately providing feedback is what makes companies improve.  So, yea, I guess you were nice and so was I and I hope it makes the world a better place...gotta try!

Have been receiving calls for the last 3 weeks, call 830pm, tonight it is 1030pm. they do not leave message ever. I do not answer numbers I do not know so glad to find this post about who is calling me.

Just because its Bellomy Research Does NOT MAKE IT LEGIT .. They are scammers just like the rest of them.. EVerytime I post an ad online / craigslist or other,  THIS NUMBER CALLS ME WITHIN 10 MINUTES after I POST.. I'm 100% SERIOUS.. They are CRIMINALS..    Tell me how they know when I post?  I'm not kidding.. THEY ALWAYS CALL ME IF I POST ANY KIND OF AD ON CRAIGSLIST..  You can believe what you want and they can LIE all they want but its 100% TRUE..

I rcvd an e-mail from Bellomy Research today.  They are a legitimate company and they do surveys and marketing research for many national companies.      Phone 800-443-7344 or 336-721-1140.  I was asked to participate in a survey of Verizo Fios customers.

Bellony called our business and first said they were from Progress Energy ( I knew right off that was incorrect because Progress Energy is now Duke Progress).Then said they were Bellomy Research on the 5 other times they called for our director in one day. (We have caller id so not too hard to figure that one out) Then on Wednesday they called again for him and when I told them that he had a death in the family and I wasn't sure when he would return the person was rude. Really do you need to call the same person 6 times. I am going to hang up next time they call as soon as I see their number.

I don't mind the call but I received the call at 8:45 pm. this is not the time to call people to do surveys.
I told them I wasn't interested in doing a survey. Let's see if they call me again in a day or two.

I get calls from this number all day long. I never answer and no one  leaves a message. How do I get it to stop?

But if in fact it is Bellomy Research, then it's legit. They do marketing research. If you qualify for their research based on the survey they do to determine if you're in the demographic they're looking for, then you can participate and get paid.

In fact, my husband participated recently in a telephone survey. He qualified, and will be getting paid close to $100 to give his opinion on blue jeans!

All sorts of companies do marketing research this way. The phone calls may be annoying, but just don't answer if you don't want to participate.

I never answer. But my husband clearly sometimes does! ;-)

I just received a call from this number. I did not answer the phone. I tried reverse lookup and said it was a landline in Winston Salem. The name on caller ID was o Counts.
I googled it and it led me here. Found out that it is opinion counts, not a person. I will not call it back to see who is on the other end. If it keeps up I will report it to BBB, since this sounds like a big time scam from what I have read. I do wonder who is doing this.

I *67 my number and called back, Some guy answered I didn't say anything he kept saying hello and that was just about it finally after 3 mins hung up, Anyone have any information on this number??

Called my home..talked to my husband..said that I was down at lowes hardware and had returned paint (SAID MY REAL NAME) and there was a discrepancy!) Who ARE THESE PEOPLE???  I am calling Lowes Hardware tomorrow and informing them of this Farce!

Unfortunately for all of us, companies can legally call you, whether or not you're on DNC, to complete surveys.

It may be solicitation in your book, but not in the eyes of the law, so your opinion doesn't count -- until you do something about it.

If you want to change the law -- like so many others of us do -- then please contact your legislators in Congress. It may take a while, but your voice is needed to plug up this loophole.

I have also been getting these calls. I find it very interesting because I am on the "Do Not Call" List for cell phones. What makes this company an exception to the rule? It's still solicitation in my opinion.

I have gotten at least 5 calls from this number for the last week. I finally picked up one and they hung up. I will let them call again and then I will tell them off.

yeah, i get a call about once a day, i quit answering it, because they hung up everytime.

Received call from this number at about 6pm tonight - on my cell phone.  When I answered the phone - the calling party had already hung up.

hey ppl...I work @ the infamous bellomy research...we are not telemarketers..its not a scam..and we don't all have low IQ's. we dial numbers on a list given 2 us and try 2 conduct surveys...but obviously...not many people participate. so im really sorry if we bother u...just like evryone else we're just doing our job. we don't get raises, or benefits we are just trying to make ends meet. we're mostly college students trying 2 get money 2 pay our bills. not many other people will hire right now if you don't have a lot of experience, or a certification or degree of some sort, our economy is f****d, gas and food are ridiculous and its all we can do. so sorry 4 the inconvenience, if u don't like it, continue not 2 answer.

This number just called and I Googled it, which led me here. Unbelievable. I called it and it informed me in a recording that is was a surveying company and not a telemarketer. This number calls EVERY NIGHT and I don't pick up because I don't know a "Chris Pearson".... Thanks for letting me in on this!

This lady called 6/26/08, wanted to talk to my son. I told her he was not avsailable right now, she asked when he would be.I told her I don't know but will take a message. She did not want to leave a message. That's how I left it.

In the past 2 weeks I have gotten Calls from this phone number on my cell phone. They never leave a message and when I answer the person hangs up. I personally think it's a telemarketer or scam.
