I am having the same trouble with them calling me and the place I work. I contacted a Lawyer and they advised me that there is nothing that anyone can do. The number might be a United States number but the person do the scamming is overseas using a magic jack. This guy that keeps calling me has a thick middle eastern accent and has gotten rude with me. But the Lawyer did advise me to tell them that it is a scam. I hope that helps you

They are all getting God's wrath very very soon! God is not allowing this anymore. The blood money they are getting from their victims are fed to their own familes, so the bad omen will be granted to each and everyone of them, no exception!

Some guy keeps calling my phone claiming his name is Gary Parker. CLEARLY he is NOT an American, and that is not his God given name. He sounds thick like Indian/Hindu. He is extremely rude to me. I have never confirmed he was calling the correct number. I knew it was fraud immediately cause his number shows up on my called id. as: 10000. He left several messages with the number 336-455-7765 to call him back immediately or I will be in serious trouble. Even left my social security number in the voice mail to confirm hes not messing around. I finally answered today and told him he has the wrong number. He Yelled at me and told me "No I don't, you are Lonnie Zins, stop lying to me!". I got mad and replied with he's not Gary Parker and to quit calling me. I hung up and he immediately called back. I told him again, he had wrong number and stop harassing me. He called 3 more times in a row!!! The nerve of some people. He has also called my work. How do these guys get our info? I have a good job, no major debts, no cash advances....He wont even tell me who he works for or what reguards the call is for, just demanding money. Well, guess what punk? I am giving you nothing!!!

If they're foreign (speak with an accent) there's not alot to be done. Let them know they're not getting a dime from you. Let your employer know that you're being scammed.
If you think they're domestic, log and record all their calls. Let them bury themselves for a while. Amass as much evidence against them as possible and then contact an Attorney. If you can't afford an Attorney there are hundreds out there now that will take your case on a contingency. You won't get rich, but it's alot of fun.
Never pay anyone a nickel based on a phone call. ANY phone call, regardless of what they threaten or how much info. they may have. Demand all their claims to be put in writing and to be mailed to you. NOT e-mail or fax. If they refuse, they're frauds or have no legal claim to the debt.
It's as simple as that. If more people educated themselves as to their rights, and were prepared to fight for them, we'd be rid of bogus and fraudulent collectors.

Alyssa, this is 100% a scam. They use scare tactics like saying they can have u arrested to get the money out of ppl I know first hand as it happens to me. Afterwards I did some research on the only to find out it was a scam please do not give them a single thing just get all the info on them as possible such as "company name", number name of person ur speaking to where they are located ect. And report them to the FTC, FBI they can do u know legal harm as they are not a legit company they most likely have very personal info on u which is scary in its self so just take time to get ur credit report and make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. I my self have since signed up for lifelock a identity theft security company to make sure these criminals don't try any funny business with my identity essentially I hope I was of some help good luck and god bless.
Ps. Be prepared for a no stop bombardment of call to u and workplace from them as its is still happening to me this very day. Change personal numbers if at all possible I did the first time I was contacted and haven't been bothered on a personal line since but they still call my work constantly

I received a call this morning from them.  I have taken out payday loans, and thought they were cleared up.  I agreed to send them money tomorrow...is this for sure a fraud, is there any way to tell if I actually owe them money?  He threatened to call my former employer and tell the manager what is going on, and the former employer can turn me in to the police. I don't want to default if there is the actual danger of being sued.  He was extremely rude and threatening.  What is going on?  Help?

I have been a victim of a fraud by some individuals that they claim that I owned them money and the way they do it is by calling me at work several times. I work at a Hospital as a Laboratory Director and somehow they got my information. The number they use is 336-455-7765. When I Google the phone number it say that it is a fraudulent call, on February 15 they call more than 300 times at my work place and flooded the entire hospital lines, It got to the point where I finally call them back and asked them what they wanted from me. They told me that I need it to go to the nearest Western Union and make a deposit for the amount that I owned them and they will stop calling, Once I was in the western union office they had me call them and deposit any amount that I had available, in which that time I only had $400 in my account, They had me make that deposit to an individual name and provide them with a western union transaction number.. Yesterday they did the same thing and I contacted my local police department here in Sonora, the officer came to my job and took all the information available. I was also advice to report them to FTC and the Texas Attorney General; both places open a case for investigation. However, the phone calls did not stop. I finally call them back and they demanded that I go western union again and deposit the remaining balance no later than 12 today.. I finally got fed up and call the FBI division in Dallas and they confirmed it that it?s a fraud, and to no sent them any more money. The calls have not stopped and it has gotten to the point that I feel like it I have nowhere to turn. Please I need any help that I can to deal with this people.. I need to find out what is it that I can do to deal with this since the authorities can deal with them.. ,, My name is Henry Ramos
