Got a call from this no. Today. Lot of static. Caller trying to sell auto warranty. Caller had a heavy accent. Caller ID said it was a boonville n.c. Number. When I questioned where he was calling from, he said Chili" He then said "I hung up now" I called the number 336 551 3310, got a recording saying it was an invalid number or no longer in service. Some one trying to scam. How dumb do they think we are?

After having my vehicle serviced this a.m., I got a call from this number on our landline, with details about the car (year, make, model), telling me that they wanted to follow up on my warranty.  The caller had a heavy Hispanic accent.  I asked if they were in any way connected with the manufacturer of the vehicle, or the local dealer, which they admitted they weren't.  Slam dunk.

The info about the car and our telephone number is not publicly available.  I have alerted the servicing dealer; suspect an insider feeding data to a boiler room scam operation for extended service contracts.

Scammer/telemarketer of some kind. Because it looked like a local number, I (foolishly) answered it. Someone who had a heavy Indian accent said "May I speak to Mr. or Mrs.--" and I hung up. Lots of background noise, like a call center.

Someone with foreign accent keeps calling me from Booneville NC. Eighth call and each time I tell them to take me off of their call list.  They are selling vehicle warranties. Funny because I have already purchased the warranty from dealership when I purchased it.

 

This number calls numerous times a day.  They try to disguise their name on the caller i.d., but everytime it's the same number 336-551-3310.  They never leave a message.  I am on the DNC list, but I don't think that list means anything to these scam/telemarketing callers because they have ways of getting around the law.

This number called and I never answered the call. According to what I found out it is a telemarketer and I am supposed to be on a no call list

got a call from 336-551-3110  it showed up as being from North Carolina, no message left.

I got a call, no meesage. I am on the DNC list.

Some dummy called from this number and wouldn't say what he was calling about and I refused to give him my name or anything then he started being all rude. I think we should turn the tables on these people and call them at all hours and piss them off.

On the DNC list, should not be receiving these kinds of calls!
So frustrating!

I received a phone call from this company on my cell phone which is on the DO NOT CALL list.

I only use my cell phone for emergencies.  How do you stop these people.  I told them not to call this number again.

recieved call from them three times in the last hour, i called back and music plays, that's it.
i am on and have been on the do not call list for years.

I just got a phone call from this number, the man that answered said his name was Jamie and he was from Publisher's Sweepstakes, that I had been entered into the drawing for a million dollars. He asked me questions about my age and even had my home address and told me he had just seen on his sceen that I had won a prize... He transferred me to a supervisor named Gina and was told I had to subscribe to 3 or more magazines at 19.95/month to be entered into the sweepstakes. I didn't have a credit card though, so I couldn't be entered...hmm. They sounded very convincing to say the least.

Got a call from this number but they left no message.

Received call, called number and says they are closed.

this number keeps calling my cell phone and I am on the do not call list.

Why do you even think it's a "company" rather than a few crooks with a robodialer? Do you really need to know more than that before you hang up?

Why nobody talks about the type of the company and the subject of the phone call? Are you guys all fakes as well? What is the idea of this website if you don't enlighten us a little bit?

Mine told me I am finalist to $1M cash prize and she lost hope towards the end after noticing that I am suspecting and not even telling about my work/company.

After the cash prizing the call proceeds with magazine offering.

Unwanted call from this number at 11:42am this morning.  No idea how they got my number or what they wanted.  Thank heaven I didn't answer, and googled the number before calling them back!

On do not call list.

I'm also on the DNC and received an auto-dial call from this number today. Filed a complaint at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2 and suggest everyone else do the same.

As a side note for anyone who doesn't know this, if you also receive text spam you can forward it to 7726 (spells SPAM on your keypad) to file a complaint with your service provider.
