Left message stating that I owed 2100.00 for a loan I took out in 2006. Could not give me the companies name just NWV is to who I should make the Western Union out to or pay by debit or credit card.  Said they would take me to court if I did not pay.  This is a scam.

These people are scam artists.  Caller ID on my cell phone comes up 832-546128.  They leave a message to call a Justin Price (very broken English could hardly understand the message) back at 336-553-0130.  I called this number and they answer United Federal Bank.  They tell me that I took out a loan in Dec. 2006 and never paid it back and had information on my bank account. In order for me to not be taken to court and not to be put in jail I needed to pay them 1280.00.  They told me to pay by Western Union and make it payable to NWV.  I told them I had no idea what they were talking about.  They replied, "We've sent you dozens of emails and you have not responded".  I then told them that before I pay anything to anyone (knowing this is a scam) I told them to send me the info in the mail and that I would respond at that point.  Of course he stated that this was impossible and that I would be sent to jail if I did not pay them right away.  The people who answer the phone on the other end at the 336 area code have very broken English.  They could be terroists getting money for their "CAUSE".  Some thing needs to be done about these "TERRORISTS" who scare people into thihking they are going to jail.  I only talked to them to get as much information as I could to let the general public know about this scam.  I am now checking my bank account on a daily basis and have to switch to a new account because they have my information.

The man has a Middle Eastern accent and is stating his name as Steve Parker and previously as Brian Schmidt with the United Federal Investigations Bureau.  He indicated I had an outstanding debt for a payday loan I took out in 2005 and if I did not pay immediately then he would send investigators to my door to collect the money or possibly take me to jail. I felt this was probably a scam, but at the same time it scared me a little, so I asked him more questions.  He would not send me any documentation nor give me the name of the company that I owed this debt. The more questions I asked the angrier he got, he finally hung up on me.  He ended the conversation with "Good Luck". I contacted my Attorney General's Office and they did inform me that THIS IS A SCAM.  I've been seeing more and more of this happening to others unfortunately.   They are scaring people into giving money to them or else they go to jail.  Along with that fact, they are contacting places of employment and in my case told my co-worker that I would be taken to court if I did not call him back immediately. THESE PEOPLE HAVE GOT TO BE STOPPED.

I've received a call today 1/6/09 on my cell phone saying to call this number 336-553-0130 saying he was calling regarding my sister's account and it was about a legal matter he also gave me an account number.  He said his name was Jeffery Scott(which I did not believe)it was weird because he also had the Middle Eastern accent.  I don't know how he got my cell number.  The phone number on the ID was 11286550850 I live in the United States and this number sure does not look like a number from my country.  There must be someone higher up in the security like Homeland Security that this can be looked into. I got so many calls from a number at first I did not even reconigize on my cell phone from some foriegn person who left a message that this is legal issue and time sensitive and I must return the phone call right away other wise the company would pursue criminal charges against me.When I called this number back 305-507-8578 operater stated you have reached number in error. When he called back I answered my cell phone he stated I owe on a payday loan from nov of 2006. I needed to make a western union payment today. Also what came up on my caller Id was the numbers 024-110. This foriegn person who I could barely understand because english is so bad.Had my address and my ss# stated I took out a loan for 350.00 They wanted me to pay nearly 1000.00 I stated how come no buddy called me before this and why am I being contacted by my cell phone and the response I got was we tryed by email and you ignored your email I stated Im sure someone would have sent some sort of docuementation by now that was nearly three years ago. The foriegner stated you pay the loan my company will send you docuementation on the loan that you defaulted on to pay. These people need to stop threatening.

I got a call from A John Smith stating if I didn't want to be arrested that I could settle with him, he would handle all the paperwork but If I didn't return his call in a second then all the could do was wish me good luck.

Left message on my cell saying I or my attained attorney should return this call immediately!!  This is very time sensitive and do not disregard this call!  I did not call them back.

Some officer named williams called me and lot of noise from fan..He told that he was officer and told me that my case will be downloaded on 12 pm if i dont pay my loan amount.I think it's a big scam going from some other country.I told him that i have filled for bankruptcy...........than also calling me daily at my work place..........

The name of the company they gave is Christian Nicholos and Associates, when I put that name into yahoo's search engine I found this website.

I am receiving very similar calls from two different numbers, 1-286-550-850 and 201-984-3274.  Same deal though, man with a thick Indian accent, saying I owe his company $5,000 but can settle for $1,000.  I just filed a complaint with Consumer Fraud Reporting online.  What else is there to do?

They called me three times today...telling me I had until 5pm to make a payment and tried to get my credit card number. I asked for a supervisor and was told NO. "jay" the guy that called me wouldnt even give me his last name.

Funny people.  I was contacted by some guy with an indian accent about a debt that i do owe.  However due to financial hardship cannot pay at this time.  I offered to pay a little now, they said my offer was unnacceptable, so I hung up.  He called back 17 times before he gave up, that's 17 times in a row.  The next day they called again.  After looking them up on the internet, I found all of this negative info.  That just got me going, so the next time they called from numbers you can't call back, I answered and waited for them to threaten me like they did so many other people who have posted.  No luck this time.  They asked what my answer was..I said no..they said I should have my attorney's info ready and hung up on me, they were going to have their lawyers call.  Next day I was working and noticed 8 missed calls over 6 minutes..it was them so I called them back...they again asked me what my answer was....Again I said I was not intending to work with them.  They again said that I was making a mistake, that they're attorneys were going to call me.   I said fine, they hung up. Two days later, guess what?  They called again.  Four times before I answered.  It was somebosy else asking me if I'd tak to some other name...I said I guess...I didn't remember his name.  They asked me if I was going to pay them, I said No.  They said they wanted my attorney's name.  I told them I haven't seen anything in writing from them.  Then a man in the background started saying my address and saying hat they were going to come to my home...(I moved).  I just said, you guys really suck at what you do.  Then he said he was going to serve a warrant, I asked for what?  He said for you.  I pointed out that they claim to work for a law firm, and they don't know the difference between a warrant and a supeona(SP).  I said you're an fing joke...We will come to (address here).  I said.  By the way it is against the law to tape someone without recording them, and they do it.  They got frustrated and hung up again.
This is a company that does not represent any company you owe.  They bought my 600 debt for like 50 bucks, hoping to threaten you to pay.
I laugh at them, I like to talk to them just to piss em off.  Next time I'm gonna say I'm a lawyer and tape them, and f with em.
Oh yeah, when I told them I checked them out on the internet their response was "we have many enemies on the internet, do not listen to them"

I received a call at work this morning from a Roger from Christian Nichols and Associates telling me I had taken a loan out from them in May of 08 and had not paid it and they were taking the matter to court next week if I didn't settle with him on the phone.  he did have my SSN, email and home address, but he refused to send me any documentation of the claim saying it was unpublished and would be a defamation of character, I asked who's character, certainly not mine if I owed it.  He refused to send anything.  I asked what type of firm he was with and he told me it was an attorney's office.  When I asked him for his phone number because I would have my attorney call him back he gave me 336-553-0129.  he said my attorney could not do anything now.  I did call my attorney and he said these people are scams because they should be able to fax any and all paperwork they claim to have sent me.

A jeffery Stickler left a message on my phone telling me I needed to call him it was a legal matter regarding my daughter. He sounded foriegn or like he had a hearing impairment. Fortunatelly I have blocked caller Id so I asked who am I speaking with..Jeff Stickler and he asked who I was, I said until you tell me what this organization is I will not be telling  you who I am. He was quiet for a bit and again I asked what is this organization. He finally said Christian Nichols and Associates. I told him I had no idea who that was, and it sounded like they were fraudulant and hung up the phone. O
Number 1 if it is about some legal action against my daughter they would have no business phoning me. 2ndly I asked my daughter if she had any outstanding debts or pending legal actions against her that she was aware of. her answer was no...
So I think they were bogus and trying to pull some kind of fast one...wonder if they can be reported and taken off the air some how???

I too received a call from someone claiming I owed them money, Justin (very heavy accent).  Said I took a loan out in Dec 2006 for 540.00.  Said I never paid it off and that I owed 1236.00.  If I did not pay by western union or debit/credit card they would take me to court and throw me in jail.  I asked what company they stated United Federal Bank.  I asked how Iwould pay by Western Union they said to make it payable to NWV.  This is a scam

I also received a message on my cell phone from Michael Hopkins stating pretty much the same thing...that I owe money and if I don't pay, I'd have to pay like triple the amount in court fees.  I really want to nail these b*****ds....it scared me to death at first until I started doing some research!

Received several messages from "Mark Smith" from United Federal Bank at work. He was very rude to the co-worker who answered the call. Went so far as to yell at him because I was not in the office. When I spoke with this "Mark Smith", he had a very heavy Indian accent. He claimed I spoke with him before, which was untrue. And I needed to setle this debt before thay took legal action. I did not let the conversation go any further, I told them unless they could send me documentation in writing I wasn't going to continue this conversation. Please report them. These people are criminals.

The same thing has happened to me and now I am worried because they do have my personal and confidential information.  How did they get this info?

I received a call from a man named Michael Hopkins stating that I had taken out a loan from them and had not paid it in full. He told me the loan was for 650.00 and if we did not pay them 1385.00 through western union that we would have to psy 7480.00 in court cost. He also knew all of our information ss numbers bank account information and mailing address. I have spoke to several lawyers and they all said this appeared to be a scam. They would not provide me with any written information stating that I owed this debt and would not provide me with a mailing address. They only Stated that they were from the United Federal Bank.

I got the same message from Sam. These people actually knew my Name, address, ss# and Dob. Scary! They said I took a loan from them and never paid them and that I now owe $2000 in fees. And if I want to save myself from court costs that I need to take care of it now and settle out of court. I asked for proof in writing and they wouldn't give it to me, said it was unpublished and would be considered defamation of character. I asked to speak to a supervisor - had the same conversation. He ended up hanging up on me because I demanded proof of their documents stating I had defaulted on a loan I never took out.

Man with India accent called claimed his name was Sam duncan left message saying was a personal business matter and if I didnt call him back i would be sorry and god help me. I called back and these people claim to be a financial Co. and want your personal info (soc sec #,bank info) they said I wook a loan from them. This is a scam
