A prerecording saying "Our records show you have not updated your business listing with Google, press 1 to update, press 9 to be removed". Pressed 9. This is the third time this week. Pressing "9" is not a working option.

Although posted above as responding on 9/14//13, it was the Friday the 13th AT 11:44 a.m. EST (New England time); again today (9/16) at 12:15 p.m.!  Let's stop these b-st-rds as I want my business line open to real calls!  What is it they don't get?

Got the call today, but only dead air on the mail box before a hang up click.  Ironically attended a professional seminar today, part of which was put on by a very intelligent gentleman from N.H. whose business is setting up networking, computer crash problem solving, etc. We all know the "Google" scam has been around for a long while; just many different numbers, locations, & ID's.  There is no way anyone could promise a business to be listed first on Google; Google themselves can't!  

I.e.; if you have more than one computer (like we do having 4), depending on what the computers are used for & what sites are searched, you will get different priority listings on each of them if you search the same thing!  Google, as well as Face Book & others, all know the IP addresses; any current search from that IP will be listed based on previous site history!  

Take that scammers; there is no way you can guarantee for any price unless you purchase all the Google stock!    Just your basic "BUYER BEWARE!"  Don't purchase, sign up for or anything else from a cold call to you; DEFINITELY DON'T GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO AT ALL!  

I have been in business for nearly 40 years & would never buy anything from a 'cold' call coming to me; if you answer such calls (which we don't), ask them to send you any information in the mail to look over & check out.  Of course don't give them your snail mail address as supposedly they should know it, "knowing you have not updated the Google listing"!

I have asked them to stop calling several times and they continue to call.  I have filed a complaint against them on the national do not call list website.

Just received call from this number 336-567-0605 A recording saying "Our records show you have not updated your business listing with Google, press 1 to update, press 9 to be removed". I pressed 1. A man answered the on other side and offered to place my bussiness on the first page of Google for $399.00 first month and $199.00 there after. I just hang up and dialed right back, my phone would not even dial the number, tried it three times with no dial tone on my end. It's a auto generated phone number so you can't call back to scream back on them....

Same thing.....have repeatedly asked to be taken off this list.  And I'm on the DNC list as well.  Sheesh!

The same thing just happened to me!  I have repeatedly asked to be taken off this call list.  I am also on the DNC listing!  They have been calling me everyday - right at supper time.  Is there a way to stop this?

I answered and hung up and called them back to scream...I'm registered on the DNC list.  2 seconds later and I get the number has been disconnected.  Is there anyway to stop this unsolicited phone junk.
