Call hang up no message.  I googled the number and it seems to belong to Summit Knitting Mill in Ashboro, NC.

I just experienced these very same tactics of "verifying info for a free listing" only to receive a letter in the mail a week later thanking me for agreeing to an online listing solution for $39.95/month.  The nerve!!!
I dodged these people  (and yes the accent sounds Indian/Pakistani) for over a year with their weekly calls to verify info.  Finally I just verified the info to get them off my back and I was assured - "this does not cost you anything". Anyhow, now I have to take the time to contact them to cancel my "free listing" that will be billed as part of my phone bill for $39.95/month.  I also cc'd the attorney general for state of Florida and the BBB.  Hopefully if enough people take the time to do this, something will be done to these scammers

I get a monthly call from an "unknown" number calling for "Moreyellowpages.com"  They say they are giving a free "introductory" rate and then I will be charged for my listing.  I tell them I have a free listing with yellowpages.com and I don't need their listing and they continue to badger and harass me.  This has been going on for over a year.

More YellowPages, Inc. is obviously scamming everyone they call.  They called and spoke with my son who says he specifically told them we did not want their services and not to bill us.  Well, we just got a letter thanking us for the order of an internet listing and their monthly charge of $39.95 will be on our telephone bill!  He said the person had a heavy accent.  I imagine they have taped, spliced, and manipulated sound bytes to "prove" their services were ordered.  I reported them to the Better Business Bureau.  I encourage everyone who has this happen to do the same.  Also, make sure you get on the National Do Not Call List, so you can complain against them when they call you.

More Yellow Pages - claiming to be renewing my "free listing" that we have had with them before (no we haven't).

Yes, very aggressive tactics that they use.  Three weeks in a row now they call and are very difficult to get off the phone with.  My first time on the phone, they kept me online for over 20 minutes. The first guy, difficult accent, asked lots of questions, making me verify everything. My answers didn't always fit in the form he was trying to fill out so we had to come up with other words (instructor wasn't available, but manager was).

Then, after all that, he transfers me to someone else to "double-check" everything (all the while repeating that this is to keep our "free listing" with them, which we've never had).  The second person starts asking me various questions, and wanting me to repeat certain words multiple times.  It sounded to me as if she was trying to record me saying certain words so that they could splice them together to use as proof that I authorized their other service.  That's when I hung up.  They called back several times and became very rude with me.  When I told them that they were rude, they became incredulous.

Now they call each week and I have to try to convince them that I do NOT want their paid or their free service - which they simply cannot believe.  I told them that I keep asking to not be called.  They reply saying that they had a technical problem.

Our caller ID states unknown caller, but the call is from More Yellow Pages.  The first service rep. was uncomprehensible, the supervisor was a bit clearer, but then gave me to another uncomprehensible rep.  "Charlie" kept repeating that in the past we have subscribed to this online yellow pages, costing $39 a month.  I had him talk me through exactly where the website was.  Seeing that he could not produce the information, he said he would call me back.  In the meantime, I verified we do not subscribe.  Charlie did call back, at which time I indicated we were not interested, that he take our name off of their call list, and to never call again.  His supervisor gave a number of 877-696-6739 which states it is a customer service area, but that all the reps were busy.

My boss got suckered into a "free" listing from this company and a week later, we received a welcome letter that said we would be provided with their Complete Online Listing Solution Service with the first billing occurring on our next telephone bill. The charge for this service is $39.95 a month. I called the customer service number provided and when someone finally answered, I stated that I had a problem with my free listing and she promptly hung up.
I then immediately got on the phone with AT&T and was able to have a carrier block put on our account, so that no third party billing could be attempted on our account without our permission. This company is not part of AT&T, obviously, though they claim to be.

Someone with a heavy accent, sounded very likely Indian or Pakistani. No problems with either countries at all, just that I have lived in England and can recognize these accents.

He continued saying, "Sir, I am not trying to sell you anything and I will not make you buy anything during this call, this is for a free listing". I asked for the website of the company, which he evaded answering. The third time, I had to ask for this, my voice was a bit louder and I was more demanding, since I could see this going in circles, did not want to be rude, yet want to save time. So at the third time, I asked him for a website, he said "Sir, we do have a website, but I am not authorized to give you that information at this time". That is when I told him, well, thank you, but we are not interested, I need to get back to my clients and please remove us from your list.

According to our caller ID call from this number claim to be More Yellow Pages you have a free listing and we will send you info in re to a web site for 39.00 per month if you are interested and we will bill you automatically.  Called several times one day and told them not interested in web site just listing.  Finally told them not interested at all and the today they started with the sales calls again.  I tried to call this number but was told number no longer in service. I just have a feeling that I will receive a bill and they will continue to bill even if we tell them we do not want a web site with them.

If they call back I will speak to a Supervisor and or get a number to call them back to be removed from free lilsting and no more calls.

They are calling from a number if you call is disconnected for a website that does not come up on the wed.
