This number is calling me at least once a week now.  Today they said it was "Childrens Charities".  I told them I was on the DNC list and they went on to say that Charities don't count.  I told them to take my name off THEIR list - which I'm sure they will not be doing as this number seems to be some kind of scam # as I've asked before for them to remove me from their list.

answeed call said "hello" heard nothing for a few seconds said "i'm hanging up a female voice came on and ask for eather of my elderly parents,i said "there not home,my i ask who's calling" in a very rude voice i was told "no" and they hung up

JUST CALLED AGIAN THIS TIME I ASKED WHO'S CALLING,TOLD "DERECT TEL" WE ARE ,I INTERUPTED AND ASKED WHO'S DERECT TEL,WE ARE A SERVICE FOR KIDS LAST WISHES,WHEN I HEARD THAT I SAID DONT CALL ME AGAIN PUT  ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST,I WAS QUICKLY HUNG UP ON,ANY LEGITAMIT CO. WOULD HAVE APOLIGISED AND SAID OK,I WANT TO LET EVERY ONE KNOW THERE IS A GOVERMENT AGENCY THAT WILL INVESTIGATE IF ENOUGH PEOPLE CALL THEM,THERE CALLED THE AT&T ANOYANCE CALL BUREAU,PHONE #1-800-769-4099,PLEASE CALL

Once a day, no one ever talks (to me). Today, some girl (sounded like she was talking to a co-worker) said "it doesn't hurt...." before the line went dead.

Called them back and asked to be added to their DNC list.

calls every few days, but does not leave a message

Said they were from the "Kids Wish Network". I didn't bother to listen to any more ... just said, "We're not interested, please take us off your list."

No one on the other end

Called left no message. I get these every once and awhile. It seems that the more it rolls to voice mail the more they stop calling.

Showed as Unavailable.  I never answer any number that shows "unknown or unavailable"...Those are obviously not any friends of mine.

I answered, and heard typing noises in the background. it wasnt fast typing, sounded like hunt and puck. and there was also breathing. I said hello many times, and then they hung up

missed call on my cell phone.  I'm on the do not call list.  This is discusting.  kettle

Receive this phone calls and they do not leave a messsage.

and apparently it's for Windstream,(my phone service provider), non-profits, special Olympics, breast cancer, or Discover card, and yet, it always says, SVC on the caller ID.

Since there is apparently a single source, SVC, I should be able to prevent these calls. Any suggestions?

Another call....hung up when answering machine picked up.

They just called, I did not answer but looked at the caller ID, they did not leave a message, hung up when the answering machine came on. I entered my name again on the do not call list, very interesting message about the 40% going to charity and 60% in their pocket. They need to be reported !

Calling once or twice a day.  We have 'auto attendant' so they never get to speak to a real person and they don't leave a message.  However, it is tying up our business line with their nonsense.

This is my 7th Toll Free Call today -- i am now answering the calls to request being taken off their list, the woman on other end said she's from the children's charity network, i told her that thru the research i'm finding that her company only gives 40% of the donations to the actual charity which makes them a FOR PROFIT company which means they are NOT to be calling peole from the Do Not Call Registry, which means it's harrassment whcih means if i get ONE MORE CALL from them I will be filing complaint w/ FTC and FCC, and by the way I have a newborn and no sleep and they are lucky that i am not certifiably insane enough to track them and hunt them like the jerks they are for calling me SEVEN times in one day.  Good day maam.  I said good day!

This company has been calling me for some time now, wish they would quit. Whenever I do answer, no one talks. I feel as though they are checking to see if anyone is home! If you have any suggestions for getting them to quit calling, please let me know!

This phone disturb me all the time.  Please stop this phone from calling me.

I was at home and they called me, they asked for someone in my house and I asked who it was they said it was a charity for something. I said no thank you and the person asked me how old i was so I hung up. The next day they called me and when I said hello they said something i could barley here and it was a girl and she sounded like the same voice. It sounded like, I'll get you one in a very high voice like she was going to hurt me.

They also call under 1-800-331-5134.

I had a few calls from this number in the last two days.  Tonight, I was home and answered the phone.  The caller asked for me by name.  I asked who was calling.  The caller said something about a charity for unfortunate children.  I raised my voice and told her to never call here again and that I was on the National Do Not Call List.  She didn't say a word and immediately hung up on me.

I got a call tonite from this company saying they were from "Direct tel"?(sp) and that they were a non profit company.  As soon as i started to say dont call me, she hung up.

I just got this call like 3 minutes ago claims to be with a childrens not for profit foundation wanting donations.

Caller does not say anything. I will try Bill's suggestion.

i called the number from a payphone. i got a recording telling me they are a non profit organization exempt from the do not call list. the recording gave an option to have my number removed from their calling list. you have to leave yore name and number and it will then be removed. if they call you again then report them to the do not call list!
