This number shows up in my caller id repeatedly 2 or more times a day every few days.  Who is it???

Calls 4 to 5 times a day..No one is on the other line..

I started getting these phone calls about 2 days ago.  I also called the number back but it says to leave your name and number to be removed.  This must be a scam.  So of course I just hung up.  I've been getting these calls on my cell phone every hour. I'm calling my cell phone company to see if there is any way I can block this number.

They call me constantly, and I have 3 babies that always get woken up by their rude calls.  They don't say anything, which makes me furrious because as a mom of 3 small ones, to even pick up the phone often takes dropping several tasks!!  And when I call them back their voice mail picks up and is, conveniently, always full!

I have just about had it with this number calling constantly.  After seeing all the complaints, why are they still calling everyone.  I want it to stop!

I must have received upwards of 30 calls in the last 2 weeks from these idiots at 336-698-4596. As mentioned, when I pick up my cell, the line immediately goes dead.

I contacted them at 1-954-570-7700 and requested them to remove my number from their data base. Actually spoke with a live person who agreed to do so for me.

Whay would any company make literally 1000s of long distance cell calls daily and then hang up when the call is answered.

i just took that advice on here towards them bottom and called and told them to take my number off there list. She told me it would take 24hrs. I said I DONT CARE, TAKE IT OFF!! So will post again to verify if it workds.

calls everyday repeativly with no one on the phone

im getting 5 calls a day and when i answer it plays music then hangs up
then i try to call back and it says the number i reach is not in service.

Called a number of times, no answer, no message. I don't know anybody from N. Carolina. I am the do not call list. Why do I keep getting these calls?

Call the Area Code 954 # and explain to them that you've referred their # to your State Attorney General's office for action.

The recording said that they're a publisher's renewal service, magazines, sub services, with new and exciting offers.
I called the 1-336-698-4597, a recording came on and asked if you're calling about this number showing on your caller ID, press 1. The recording gave 3 options, press 1 if you're interested, press 2 if you're not interested, press 3 to block future calls from this number. I pressed 3, the recording stated that it took 24 hrs. for their system to update, that if I received a call within 24 hrs. to disregard it. This only applies if you are using the phone that they called you on. If you're using a different phone to call them, you're directed to c/s, and they're only there M-F 9-5pm. I think if you're into books, magazines, maybe you got a trial offer for satalite radio with a new car purchase, maybe if you go to websites that swap books etc., maybe then you're tracked, maybe not.

Calls several times a day, no one is ever on the other end.

i have  been called repeated times a day on my cell. for many days and time of the day and noone is on the other line would like it to stop.

they say that this is "active periodicals"... if you call the number back you can supposedly be removed from their active call list

After getting several calls for the last 4 weeks multiple times a day I did a little research, here is the true contact phone number for Active Periodicals  (954) 570-7700

so far has called me every hour today, but no one talks when i answered. hung up and called the number back. got a recording that says to leave my name and number, then says the mail box is filled goodbye.

I keep getting phone calls from this number and have no idea who it could be.  It is quite annoying.  Does anyone know who it is please
