This call came in at 8:19am, asking for the "lady of the house". She was still asleep (retired). Said he was from the "North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police". I told him to F*** Off and not call me again. Caller ID said "Local Area". It wasn't. It was from Greensboro, NC. We just moved into a new house and have a new phone number. I suspect this won't be that last of these annoying, obnoxious calls.

After recieving several calls from this # in the past, I purchased a phone system that lets me block up to 30 #s. After blocking this # they have now called 12 times in 30 minutes, & continue to call. Sure wish I had a drone & their address.

Caller  ID on the phone said area call.  That's not what our area code is so I didn't answer it.  Thought I'd look it up and then found all these other calls that number has made.  HATE IT!!

Repeated calls from this number, very irritating!

I have reported this phone number to DO NOT CALL before and they keep calling.  What is the point of reporting this to the DO NOT CALL registry and we still receive calls.  What is the point of having this organization to report unwanted calls if it doesn't work.

This is a scammer.

Called at 12:25 PM on Sunday!  No message.  ID said "Local call area".

Got a call from this # at 8am on a Saturday morning 2/25/12..really?  Called the number back and message stated it's for fundraising.

Charities aren't covered by the no-call list -- nor are political or survey calls.

Receiving many calls from this number.  No message is left.  I return call and get a message that it is a fundraising center. My phone number is registered with the "Do Not Call". Why do I continue to get calls not only from this one, but others as well.

Received calls several times over last few days.  Called number back to recording stating it was a call from a national fundraising company.  No, thank you.  Add to blocked calls list.

Got a call at 5:35 PM Sunday evening!  Did not answer.  No message.  Same as others said "local call area" but sure isn't.

This caller called about 9:10 AM on 2/18/12. Left no message. Caller ID said Local area call, but my area code is 919.

Received call at 8:12am on 2/14/12 Said local call area. Not my area code? Said something about Police Benevolent Society? Retired woke us up!!

If you have call forwarding features (like on Verizon Digital Voice), than forward this jerk to 717-338-2533.  That's the FCC Director's office phone.  Maybe the FCC will finally do their job when they start getting the annoying calls.

called at 8:05 am waking the household.  I called the number back, got a recording that they are a kids fundraiser. Sounds like a phishing scam to take money. Call me back, I dare you!!!
