The medic alert scammers of the elderly, call us, trying to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can cheat us! They are some of the most disgusting scammers of all!

Their phone number works all right, it's just not the number you see displayed or that you obtain via *69.  Most of these scammers are using VOIP services that let them display any number they wish on Caller ID so you cannot trace back to them and sue them.

Called twice, annoying recorded voice says to hold for an operator. They expect me to sit on hold for an unwanted call. No way.

They called and said they were my grandson and gave me his name and wanted me to send him $1000 because he was in a accident and needed it to get out of trouble. My grandson's name was what they gave me and he was in an accident a few days ago but is car was sitting in his parents gaurage and he had been there for the past several days. The guy told me he hada cold that is why I didn't recongize his voice.

This  number  calls  me  every  day  sometimes  at  night  I  am  on  do  not  call  registry  but  I guess is just like any other government agency it doesn't work for the people

Never got one of these calls until my spouse fell at a local grocery store which resulted is a serious brain concussion. Now I get a number of these calls a day. If these people are unethical enough to scam people for their credit card info after an injury would they be unethical enough to cause the injury in the first place? If so I hope they get caught. There were a number of scams on my card by these people pretending to be a legitimate business. I stopped them from doing this before she fell.

The medic alert scammers use multiple numbers.  I have blocked more than 10 numbers they have used to call my home phone.  I never answer an unrecognized number, and sometimes they leave a message, sometimes not.  When I check out numbers that leave no message, it's always the same, medic alert call!  Too bad the government does not put t huge fine
on these jerks!

These people have called me hundreds of times for "personal security alarm systems".  It always a robocall, and you can't get a live person no matter what.  I submitted a complaint at the government website donotcall.gov and I suggest everybody else do the same. It's the only way you might get any legal action taken. Robocalls of this type are illegal.

Just got a call and they left a message.  This sounds like a really good deal.  The message said that because I've been referred by a "friend" of "family" member, my "medical alert" package is already set for mailing.

Not only that, I will get a $1,000 grocery coupon and 75% off of something (I think it was prescription medicines)

Medic Alert every day sometimes more than once.

We receive this call daily & somedays more than once.  I called the number, reply out of service.  We did the DO NOT CALL LIST, so far has not helped a bit. What is the next step?

Calls from 2 numbers come up, 347-200-2678 and 347-200-9326. Both from the same "company" both call after hours and do not say anything anyway. I called both back one says phone # out of service and the other says they are a telemarketer and to leave my number - but the answer machine is full ( not that I would leave a number ).

Recently we have been receiving calls from 347.200.2678.  A search lead me to this page.  I figured it would do no harm to report this annoyance that now calls almost daily!  So much for DO NOT CALL registry.

They keep calling even if you do answer--DNC is useless--think they just want our  info when we report the calls--someone should spend more time shutting down the illegal robo calls or the phone companies should let us go back to blocking our own calls, but then they would lose money from the telemarketers and scammers.
