Got an email from this person an hour ago about an item on craigs list. The phone number in "her" signature didn't look local so I Googled it. Good thing I found this page (not that I would accept anything but cash from a Craigs List buyer anyway).

This person is a f****ng indian scammer from India. He called me in reference to a loan I owe but he demanded money with paypal or money pack thats a total scam. I researched it already. So, beware of this f****ng scammer & dont pay a single penny instead report it to your local authorities.

He tried do the same to me but thanks to these guys on here saved me!!! Do not do business with this do***ebag he will offer you more money then you asked, insisting you make a paypal account to send you the money, if you believed that part and made an account no worries it's very easy to close the account. THANKS TO THE GUYS ABOVE ME, SAVED ME A WHOLE LOT OF HASSLE ^^^^

Same here! I was scammed out of a laptop by this guy. Tried to get me to wire money Western Union but he did not get that far. This is a scam number do not respond. The FBI cyber crime unit is now investigating this issue. He uses craigslist to find victims to scam. He asks for your email address to wire money to your paypal account. In a few days he claims that customs has a hold of the package and requires a fee to release it. He then sends numerous bogus emails to you with a forged Paypal letter head explaining the fees that you need to pay. Dont be fooled by this guy!

Do not perform any transactions with this guy. It is a scam and he will attempt to steal your money. I suggest you to contact your nearest Police Cyber Crime Department and give them details of suspicious activity. I already did that.
