We have been recieving harrassing calls from Jamaica for about two years. They began as scammers, then became abusive. We have answered the phone less than four times throughout. They even leave messages. We don't feel we can change our number because my husband is unemployed and made many job applications. Besides we know of many others being harrassed by these scum.
The numbers change so it's hard to keep up which numbers are theirs.
My husband has been unemployed for many months and we have merchandise for sale, so today I answered the phone, not recognizing the number as a scam number and thinking it could be a job offer or someone wishing to buy something we have advertised.
As soon as I answered the oily, accented, overly familiar voice greeted me and I knew I'd screwed up. Instead of just hanging up as I should have I said, who are you and what do you want, to which the creep answered, s*** my ****, bi***. I hung up.
I really don't think anyone should have to put up with this stupid BS.
We are on the do not call list, have always had an unlisted number, and protect our privacy as much as anyone can anymore.
Why can't something be done about this?!

Possible scam using this number, related to an area code 876 number in Jamaica.
