Plz tell me too. They've been harassing me day for day five or more calls a day for two years. over a bill I paid saying it wasn't and I have the paper work where I paid it.

Could you please get this fraudster making annoying calls. Where is NSA? Cant you stop these scams instead of listening to private calls?

I recieved a phone call on my cell phone not from the number posted above but from a local # i did not answer cause i didnt recognise it so they left a voicemail like the lady above they called me by my maiden name and the ladys name was dawn no company name but left an 888 number to call back the number was 888-490-5484 the guy jim told me dawn was out to lunch but he could handel the call for me asked me if my name was nicole brock (which was already odd being that leaglly i havnt been nicole brock for 7 years) then told me the last 4 of my social....scary..
seems i had an outstanding payday loan in the amt of $1276 mostlly fees and stuff that they would be willing to do a settelment for $350 they could split it up into 3 payments of $117 each but i had to make 1 payment today i told him i didnt want to give any info over the phone and he proceeded to tell me if i didnt settle this today they were going to garnish my wages for the whole $1276. I said let me check in to this and call back jim then gave me his information (direct line 518-833-6798) company name saud the debt was for quick cash payday loans?? Looked them up nothing. Looked up d2 mgmt found this.. thank god!

I got a call today from 6162143339 Johnathon Day was his name....called my cell for my husband. Said they have his ss # with a file on it and before processing paperwork they have to speak to him.

I would like to be in that lawsuit. They said there address was P.O. Box 534 Hardenville, BC 29927 and they answer at 256-270-2040. They are nuts there. I was told threatened in several different ways. And was told by one lady I better not talk to her like that again or there were several things she'd do to me.

Just received a call on my cell searching for a friend from D2 Management 225 754 9936. Guy would not give me info. but had audacity to call MY cell.How they got my number is a mystery.

It is a scam. They've been calling me for the past few days from two different numbers. They'll tell you it's an outstanding balance you have from a payday loan, through CashNetUSA. They'll come up with all sorts of amounts saying you owe them anywhere from $200 up to $1000, but they'll settle the balance for another amount. I had an indian guy with a thick accent try to get me once. I knew he was lying, because he had an old account number from a bank I serviced with well over 10 years ago. It's a scam....don't fall for it.

DO NOT post info in here that may further lead them to you. They are Troll liars and scammers. Masters at ID theft. They use a GEO targeter to get your LOCAL number (area code) and threaten you, Calling out your  name and that they have your SS#. DO NOT FALL VICTIM. They have to use an 877 number for you to call them back and not the local one they called you on because they call outside the US use generic names that sound to them COMMON lol. It's insulting to think we would be stupid enough to give them any of our info muchless PAY them. Saddly people who are elderly are prayed upon. If they call your cell..SCAM, if they threaten legal action.. SCAM. They DO NOT have anything on you. Tell them to remove you from their call list and register on do not call list if you have not already. Report all info to the registry. Hope this helps

I received a call from D2 management Inc, stating they need to review paperwork before filing papers against me. A local number came up on caller ID, but a toll free number was left. The odd thing, they used a mauden name, one I haven't had in well over 7 years. Any past due account would be over 11 years old...so, do not fall for this. If anyone was going to sue you, it would be filed and mediation offered to come to an agreement. This is a debt collector using words that sound legally threatening but aren't. Don't fall for it and find out your rights...especially for debts this old!

Got the call today, showed as a local number but I never answer a number I dont know cause of the damn marketers... Anyhow, it was just as stated above "this is nathan ross, calling on behalf of a mutual client, need to get a statement from you so we can get this closed today, please call back at" I googled the number as it was a local one and it comes up as an in home health company. Seeing above, I know they are faking out the system and this call just so happened on the same day that my google and yahoo accounts got hacked! Thanks for your posts above, I know just how to deal with the call if it comes again!

Do your homework... they called me too, my debt was not only charged off, but outside of the statute of limitations for collections.  You can not only Request them to stop, but you are entitled to ask for proof in the mail.  If you haven't received a summons, it may not come.  They are not allowed to threaten criminal or IRS prosecution.  If they do certain illegal activities while trying to collect, you can sue them.

Got a call from "Shaun smith" today from d2 management and associates had my name and social to be verified and had to come down to office...TEAH YEAH RIGHT!!! Thanks to this web site I just googled what he said on voicemail and bam this popped up and I'm steering clear of that mess!

It's a scam. A legitimate collector would never have a social security number and not an address. Per the FDCPA, a collector has five days after a call to send a Dunning letter. This place won't provide any information. If you call back, you'll be instructed only to send money. You won't be given any other information about the company.

They call from various numbers, using various area codes. Many times they "spoof" the area from which they're calling. It looks like a local number when it's not.

This company has a reputation for buying up very old debts, many of which were paid, others of which are beyond the statute of limitations for collection. Less than .05% of their "debtors" can be legitimately sued.

Don't fall for the scam. Don't send money. If for some reason you are sued, make sure the statute of limitations hasn't passed in your state. Chances are, it has and that is what is called an affirmative defense.

This guy "Mr. Ross" is a joke by feeding people lies in order to scare them in order to have them call him back. If you want to call and make such claims (suing) then send the letter in the mail not call around family and friends asking to speak to the person of interest and tell them that they are going to be sued. To me, he must be a debt collector and or if not one big scam!!! Don't let him or anyone in the same shoes scare you so easily... too many scams going on and if I or anyone is actually being sued send that official information within the mail, but don't ask me for my address because that means you should have it already so you won't get it.

To me it sounds like a scam or a debt collector throwing his lines of lies around in order to get a person to call them back especially to get them scared by hearing that this person is talking about the possibility of suing them. I would think if anyone is on the bridge of being sue that for the most part they would know because normally information is sent in the mail and if they don't have the address then oh well... I wouldn't let these idiots pressure myself by sinking into there lies. Ultimately, at the end of the day I think that if he were to call back again I would threaten him or harassing me when I am not even the person of interest within the matter and shouldn't be bugging my life for information that he is looking for on someone else. I even have a suspicion that some of these "positive" posts on here are from him and not actual people like me and you.

This "Mr. Ross" sounds like a scam... called looking for a family member (which I thought it was, but not end up being) of mine stating that if the person he is looking for does not called back then they would have to be sued and no other information was really given. So ok, why hasn't any of that info been sent in the mail?!?! Why would he be calling relatives or whom he assumes are even relatives of the person he his looking for?!?!? Sounds very suspicious to me and wouldn't trust anything he or anyone in his same shoes says especially how now and days there are so many over the phone scandals going on out there. Again, if he or anyone is trying to sue a person or collect anything... the right person to talk to is the person he/she is looking for and/or send them a letter for starters not bother others whom have nothing to do with it.

Man named Nathan left voicemail looking for a family member claiming it was a pre-legal matter he was hired (D2 Managemnet) name of the company to help recover a past debt.  If this family member didn't call them back it would be sent to the Federal Courts Office next week???? Not sure if it's a scam or not?

someone named nathan called from this number today saying he was from the "pre-legal" department of D2 management and desperately needed to talk to my sister before he filed something.  Wouldnt tell me what he was going to file, no idea how he got my number..he also said that he knew my sister was younger than me, which she isnt.. so I'm assuming its some sort of scam.

spoke to Mr. Ross he is a nice guy who works for a processing company. helped me out on an account i have that saved me over $1300 for the year.
