Husband Got a text saying his authorization was needed by VISA and to call 347-410-5894


Scam!!!!!! Call Internet crimes division of your local police dept.

They called - not sure why - I'm not behind on anything.  All is up to date.  Auto paid. I do not answer any numbers I don't have in my address book.

swup940vim.net calling to verify purchase was the text message. I recently bought South West Tickets so thought it might be legit but when I called it was obvious it was a scam. The voice recording didn't identify itself as Visa and was low grade (scratchy) recording.

just got a text message stating:   Authorization required by V I S A, Please call (347-410-5894) Called the number and it was very distorted and staticy. Said something about needing my authorization.....I dont have a Visa Card.......and there was an email address attached to it too......I have no idea what is going on

Got a text message from reg039@decam.net teling me authorization required by VISA. Please call [347.4105.894] I just sent it to spam 7726.

I got a text from this number asking for me to verify my visa debit card number.  I don't have one.

got two text messages. One at 1:30a.m. from durge403@domis.net. and the second at 2:00a.m. from tar857@vind,net, both asking me to call this number because Visa needs verification. I knew it was a scam becaause I don't have a Visa card.

Just got a text from iene944@rust.net and them 10 mins later a text from svr409@saur.net both saying authorization required byV I S A. Please call (347)4015894. Did not know what this was until I looked up the phone number on google and started reading everyone's comments. Do not call back.

Just got a text message from ieme944@rust.net saying" Authorization required by V I S A. Please call [347]4105894. Nope, not happening.

Got a text. They claim to be visa.

Just received the same text message from randFY72@v1sa.net saying "Authorization required by VISA.
Called it from my work phone and asking for my credit card info... SCAM and block that number!

received text message from this number asking me to call and give account information including pin number for visa card.  Researched the number on this site to find it's totally a scam

I got a text asking to call this number. Sent message to SCAM (7726).

got a call from someone today from this number about visa.net hope they're not charging me for anything please check it out I think it's a fraud , thank you

Just received a text message from randFY72@v1sa.net saying "Authorization required by VISA. Please call: 347-410-5894" I only have 1 VISA which is through my bank and I know that they wouldn't be sending me some weird text like this. Beware!

Got a text message from "rand596@v1sa.net" asking me to call this number for authorization from Visa. The mispelled "v1sa.net" was my first clue. Second clue is I don't have a Visa card. Scam.

Got a text from this number stating:  "Authorization required by VISA.  Please call: (347)410-5894."  Which one, is bull, cause visa doesn't usually do things by SMS/Texts.  Called to check and the message stated "Hello and thank you for calling Visa Identity check service, a message was sent to inform you about your debit card.  Please insert your 16 digit card number."  And after that I hung up.  Cause my bank and Visa were pretty clear that I would never need to give them my card number, and common sense dictates that since I am on file, they already have it.  Let alone my debit visa is totally managed by my bank and visa has never really had anything to do with it.  Sent the message to SPAM (7726) and reported it to my bank.

Forward the text messages to SPAM (7726).

Same as above, three times in 20 min. with three different phone numbers and e-mail addresses.  All three belong to New York.  It seems that Texas is the one being hit here.

Been getting text from this number claiming to be Bank of America and they spell it Boainfoline.com

I looked up the 718 and it belongs to a housing company in New York.

I have received texts with messages to call 347-410-5894 (4 times) and 718-246-8080 (2 times) this evening.  Each one appeared about 15 minutes after the last.  All were from contactus@boainfocenter.com.  Reported them to Bank of America.  So annoying!

They got my number... it's my turn I guess. 8 text in the last hour.... make that 9! Both 347-410-5894 AND 718-246-8080

I work for a police department got 5 messages.  Used our resources.  Phone link to out of country.  Do not call them.

Have received 6 txts from them now within the past 30 minutes telling me to call them. Claim to be with Bank of America which I have never been a client of. How do I make them stop!!!!!!!

Just received two text messages in 10 minutes as well.  From the same Company? as in Jenn's post.
I've had the same cell number for 10 years, and until I bought a smart phone in January, of this year I never received telemarketers calls. I have always been on the "No Call Lists for Home and Cell Phones". I need to check and make sure they are still in effect.

Just received the same texts on my cell.  I thought about calling the number only to inform them that this is a newly acquired number and they couldn't be looking for me.  But then I did a Google search and found this site.  Glad I did!

Received a number of text messages (about 4 in one hour) that my Bank of America account needs immediate action.  I don't have any BoA accounts.  Called to see why they were texting me.  They tried to get a bunch of personal info from me (like ssn and credit card accounts).  When I refused to give the the info, they hung up.  Scammers!
