I received a call from jack Wilson today saying he had my social security number and wanted money...

just got a message on my home phone along with a call from my employer. officer jack wilson is apparently looking for me andtried to get info from  my employer. thank god i work for a personal care agency and the first words out of my boss's mouth to officer wilson was she could not give out my personal info due to HIPPA laws. i never thought i would appreciate Hippa as much as i do this moment.
     a few weeks back my husband got a scam call from a pay day loan place claiming he owed $ or he would be facing possible jail time and would be served a subpena at work. we called our bank who told us we should make a police report because we were the 4th local customer of theirs to have heard from this scam.
     once my husband called back and told them he went to our local cops and was not gonna pay for a loan that never went to the bank, he never heard from them again guess since we have joint accounts they are now trying my info.
   our bank and local police told us to beware of any body looking for information or supposed creditors using common american names with broken english and thick accents.

I just recieved a call from this same number. i know it is a scam. ssa has been made aware as well as all three crdt reporting companies.  do not answer or return the call.

I finally spoke with the mysterious Officer Wilson...when I told him that I had never heard of cell phones having extensions, his exact words were "Who told you? How did you find out?"  Does it sound to anyone out there like Officer Wilson is legit?  He gave me some alleged case #, and told me that I had applied for a loan online and did not pay it back.  I told him I did no such thing and to give me the name of this business I allegedly applied to and I would contact them.  His words were "they will not speak to you, only to me."  I laughed and told him I will have an attorney contact him today at his cell phone that has the extension.

This number is a cell phone with an extension...anyone ever heard of a cell phone having an extension...I returned this call...the person answering had a heavy Indian accent, answered the phone "office of criminal investigation", but when I asked for Officer Jack Wilson, we began to studder and get all tongue-tied.  I then asked for the extension (714), and was disconnected in the process of allegedly being transferred....Strange!!!  This same Officer Wilson called my employer this morning...I am going to call the New York PD and inform them of this.

Today, around 10:30AM, I received a phone call from this number.  The caller had a heavy Indian accent and identified himself as Officer Jack Wilson, of the Criminal Investigation department.  He proceeded to tell me that there have been some criminal charges filed against me & my SS#, and that if I do not return his call, I could be facing some serious jail time.  He stated that either I need to call or have my attorney call, and that if I don't, "it will be on you whatever happens next."  This is not the first time that I have received these type of calls.  The only thing different here is that these people have changed the phone number they are calling from.  The first calls I received came from the Austin, Texas area code of 512.  At that tine, I spoke again to a gentleman with a heavy Indian accent and he flat out told me that if I didn't call within 30 minutes, I would go to jail.  I since learned that numerous people were receiving calls from the same area code and number and that it was indeed a scam.  Please beware!!

I recieved a call from kevin cooper, demanding me to call. i called ans the man had my ss #. very scary. what do i do about this? he said the same thing im being investigated for fraud and i better hire attorney. how do u know if its a scam?

I also recieved a call yesterday from a man stating that he was from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation . His name was Jack Wilson and he said that if i did not contact him back i could be arrested or be responsible for the total amount charged.

Kevin Cooper is a made up name. These guys are a total scam!!! Dont pay them any money. It is illegal for a creditor to threaten you with arrest for an outstanding debt.

I started receiving calls from 347-416-5124 on my voice mail yesterday stating that they where from Bureau of criminal investigation and had my social and that I had better call them back. He stated his name was Kevin Cooper and he had a thick Indian accent.
