this number is of state buro which is the legitimate one and they are very strict in taking legal action. Especially the officers like Jason green, Linda jones, Christine Mott, Mark taylor. they are best because they really save me from being victim. There was law suite file against o me and my social because I took out the loan which I refused to pay. They help me to get my employment back....... I really appreciate them

I just get the same calls today.  The guy left 2 messages saying he's from NY Dept. of Justice.  I don't know how he got my personal information, but he was very aggressive and threatening.  Saying there's a case against me with a loan company.  Damn these people and their scams. I told him to do what he needs to do and I will do what I need to do, then hung up.  Ignore the call and dont give or send anything.

I got a call from this number and all the same things happen to me.  I had taken out a loan with a company but I had paid it back in full but I paid that in person.  I decided to google the number and saw how these people are a scam and trying to get money.  They claimed to be from the state bureau creditors law firm in NY which I googled and found no such thing.  I notice that they wanted me to send the money western union but to a lady with a foreign last name.

Got a call from this number at work and they said I had a case against me and that the atternory would be calling me back.  The lady was very hard to understand and sounded like there was an ecko or like I was on speaker phone.  she gave me a case number and said they had my social security number on file and if we were disconnected to call back.  I called and was told that this was sounded like Justice something.  I hung up and called back a same lady answered I hung up again and called back and when I called again a got a message to call back later.

Can someone tell me who these people are? and how they got my info.

They've been calling my cell phone at least 10 times a day and have not left any messages. They've also been calling my work many times a day and whenever we answer the phone they hang up. I've called the number myself and it rings and rings until I get a message that says "Please try again later". I actually spoke to a person on the other end of this number this morning. The woman, who hardly spoke english, said she was with the Department of Justice and that there was a claim against me regarding a loan I took out. She rambled off the name of the company I supposedly got this loan from and said that I was in default and if I didn't pay right now, they were going to contact my employer. First of all, that's illegal, and second, I have never taken out a loan except for my car which is not in default status. I asked her if she has ever Googled her phone number and there was silence on the other end. I told her she should so she can read all of the remarks about what a scam this is. She told me I would be hearing from their attorney and I said "Good. I hope so." and then she hung up on me. PLEASE do not give these people any information or money. Just ignore the call or answer it and let them know that you know that this is a scam.

I have recieved two voice mail messages on my cell phone since monday from # 1-347-450-9016. i just now have checked them and i called them back to figure out what was going on.... well, when i called some lady answered and i explained to her why i was calling and all she was saying was " Uh...Uh...and hello.. then she hung up on me! Also.. I could barely tell what they were saying because of there funky accient, which sounded like some middle eastern person. They said that my name was on a legal document and that i needed to call them in the next few hours or else " i would be in A big trouble " LOL!!

Harassing phone calls inquiring about personal information.  DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION!  They were asking about family members.  When I asked for the callers information such as name, place of business, and reason for calling, they refused and got very aggressive.
