Just press number 4 when they mention your name, don't answer.  They will get tired of calling.
they might send you mail.  You can return it back to them without opening it.  cross off your name and address and put it into the mail box and put return to sender on the envelope.  It Works. they'll stop, eventually.

Agreed, they have the wrong darn number, but pressing option 4 does not help.  Perhaps Doug Gilman should have his team look into it.  I wonder if this outcome is an accident or if it more speaks to how Mary Lou Muti and Doug Gilman run this business.

My caller ID said they were calling from China...

Daily calls, nobody to call back, 2-3 calls weekly

They have literally called me 12 times today. I have my phone set to automatically reject the calls. I'm sick of these people.

Yup...let me also throw in a couple...they've been calling since JANUARY 2012 (it's Nov now)...tried the "do not call listin - nada....best thing I've done was to pick up the phone - and leave it....I don't talk - I just let the phone hummmm....but they will not go away!!!

Yup....same as the rest of you....CMC - "important message.....debt collector...if this is not -------"  can't make out the name to whom they are referring... I also reported this number to the FCC and National Do Not Call registry....so far...no good....how do I get rid of them????

I get at least 3 calls a day from this number saying if this is not some  i never
heard of i get please hang up but if this is so an so call.  This is getting to be a big pain

You got it people - leaves a machine message "if this is the wrong number...." then continues with "press 1 now..." calls about 3x a week....bogus!

I've been getting calls from this number every day for several weeks now, sometimes several times a day and/or outside normal business hours. I've never answered or called back, because they've never bothered to leave a message. I shouldn't have any outstanding medical bills, and if I do, it's because they never made their way to my home. What I don't get, is that I keep getting these calls ONLY on my cell phone. Well any medical facility I've visited sure as hell has my home number and address also. I guess perhaps next time they call, I'll either answer it or call back if I miss it. Hope to give them a piece of my mind.

collection agency they call everyday all i do is pick-up the phone then hang it right back up i paid16,000.00 into my healthcare fund last year $8.27 for every hour that I work  for me wife and kid.what ever the dr's are paid from ins. co thats all thye get i will never pay them.my  credit is in the crapper so intill they can come to my house and pry it out of my cold dead fingers they will never get any more CALL ME CRIME CAUSE I DONT PAY

Yeah, this is a fake collection agency. This is a scam. I did my research on them and found some interesting results. They look very legitimate in every way, but they are not. They certainly did a great job posing as a real company and are the closest thing to the real deal but dont fall for their scam. So if you get a call from them, say that you know that they are a fake company just trying to steal money from you and that you will press charges against them as well as threaten reporting them to the police. They should stop calling you after that. They did for me.

I have this number saved in my phone so i know not to answer it, I get calls from it stating they are NCO, which is a collection agency in my state.

Got calls coming in from one of our hunted group numbers.  Kinda hard to collect debt from a business that's been in this office less than a week, seeing as everything paid for thus far has been outta pocket on cash or debit, not credit.

I actually called them back, entered the reference number, talked to some lady, then got removed from being called.  They were askin' for someone we've never heard of.  And since our company is only 5 strong for the time being, I'm fairly certain I know who works with me.

If you've got no debt, just call them back, tell them what's going on and get removed.  However, if they keep calling anyway, then you get a little mean.  "I've told you what's going on before, call me again and we're gonna be having a little role reversal.  One more time, and I'm filing charges for harassment."  It will work (assuming you're not the one they're after).

Also, for those who are being tagged and do owe debt, it is illegal for them to call you beyond 7PM in your time zone.  Make sure you stop that stuff before it gets out of control.

This is Portfolio Recovery Collections Agency. They are RELENTLESS! What they do is buy old debts and then try to recover them. My lawyer told me that they can't legally collect a debt if it's 4 years or older. This however doesn't include, for example, school loans, IRS debts, and state & local liens. These types of debts are collectible forever, and in some cases, even have penalties and other fees added on as the debt gets older. This company calls me over 10 times a day and somehow, they got my cell phone number as well. If they leave a message, it's something automated, but usually, they just hang up and continue to call all day, even up until 10 p.m., and all weekend as well. They have approximately 50 different numbers they call from. Some are 800 numbers, and the others are all different area codes. I guess that's so you can't possibly block them completely. I've talked to alot of different people that have spoken to representatives from this company and every single person said that they get extremely nasty when you tell them you can't or won't pay. They call people all kinds of names and even swear at them! I realize they are trying to do a job, but there should be a line somewhere that shouldn't be crossed, however, I guess with this outfit, there isn't one. They'll say anything and threaten people in hopes of getting someone to make a payment over the phone. You really need to watch out for this outfit. I mean, if the debt is a legitimate debt, and in the right time frame, then they have the right to try and get people to pay in a reasonable manner, but they try to get people to pay debts from as far back as the 80's and this is just not appropriate. Watch out for this outfit people!

Medical collections... I got a call from a human, though.

I get a lot of calls from this number also.  When I try to call back, I can't be connected to anyone.  It says my call is being connected, but then it says that all representatives are busy and prompts you to leave a message.

I'm also assuming this is medical-related because that's pretty much the only thing I have out there that is past due.

The caller ID always shows telephone number 000-000-0000.

They keep calling even though I am on the national do not call registry. I have since filed a complaint and hopefull this will be taken care of.

I get this call almost every week and sometimes twice . can,t under stand what they say. But i,ve never call this number why do they call me .
