I posted a board on craigs list and he email with this email mtunez15@gmail.com he made a link n said he wanted me to click on it and sen some one else 300 dollars but I dint click on the link or send nothing he has a face book actt https://www.facebook.com/justin.scolfied beware of this person he claims he will pay with paypall

I got the same thing he email me with mtunez15@gmail.com n was getting mad he is a scammer

After posting a car on Craigslist I recieved a text as follows from this number:

(1/3) Hi there, Thank you for getting back to me. Can you assure me its in good state and i will not be dissapointed with it? I'm

(2/3) ready to pay your asking price and to be honest, i want to buy this for my son as his birthday gift. I a marine biologist

(3/3) that works on the sea at the moment. phone calls making and visiting of website are restricted but i squeeze out time to check this

I have it clearly stated in my post as a cash sale only and nothing else will be considered.  Who would buy a car on just a promise that everythings fine with it?  NOT ME!! I've had about a dozen people respond with the same story, about being out at sea and its a present for a family member. Also say that they cant use their phone or a computer, that its totally restricted. If they cant use either one, how did they find my posting and then take the time to text me back?? Sounds like a total BS story to me. I'm sure its just another SCAMMER!!

yes he is a scammer

Less than a minute after posting on craigslist, I received pretty much the same text as other reported.  Appears to be a scammer so I blocked his calls/texts.

yeah well i just got a call saying he was out to sea and wanted to buy my truck for his dad as a birthday present....   i said no cash and drive only !!!!

Same wanted to buy my motorcycle paypal only -I called him out on it too.

Was just contacted by said number wanting to buy my snow machine here in Alaska. Wanted to pay with paypal, called them out and told them they were a scammer.

This is obviously a scam.  They have password software to drain cash from paypal.  Wanted my email but balked when I made the invoice and wanted his.  Avoid this number..... SCAAAAMMMM!!!!

Yep, just received the same thing.  Wanted to buy my snowmobile through paypal only!  Did even wanted to see it.

yep I just got a text wanting to pay for truck via paypal I told him it was a cash and drive sale only he replied with if you want to sell it to me u can set a paypal account now so I can pay you...call is from New York I am in Michigan weird huh?

I got a text from this number wanting to buy a car I was selling on craigslist. He wanted to pay by Paypal. Maybe legitimate but I did not go through with it.
