Just received 3 phone calls back to back from Mr. Whalen or Whaler advising me to call him back at 347-460-9758 regarding some legal case against my SSN#.  The call came in a a private number (means they blocked the number) The same scam artists have also tried this same tactic by calling from 347-875-9600 (Johnathan Lester). As usual I keep all voicemail recordings and turn them into the State Police or FBI because all calls are recorded and become permanent record. They tried this same bull sh*t last month.  These scum bags can kiss my a** while I'm sh*tting!

So I received a message from a John Rosen from the company ASLS stating I had a problem with identity theft so I returned the call and spoke to a Danny Wilson who stated I was being sued for a 300 dollar loan I received in october 2010 from Advanced America that was never paid back I asked questions and he refused 2 give any info told me 2 wait until I received papers I knew this was a scam because he had all my info wrong like my address and phone number he provided I wasn't even at or had last year so I contacted Advanced America and let them know I also filed a complaint with the FDC and I'm going to be contacting the State Attorney General Office and I'm also going to make a police report I would advise everyone to report this stuff so they kan catch these guys

I get calls from this number every day 347-460-9758.  They are calling my work nunber of which I have all my customers programmed to show up on my caller id.  When these a-holes call, they come across and unknown, so I know it is them when they call. Some times I answer, some times I don't.  They usually leave a very nasty message which I delete, but always write down the name and number they leave.  Usually they leave the same number and their name is always something common, David Smith, Mike Smith, Bob Parker, etc.  I know this is a scam and when I answer I LOVE playing with them.  Today they called and went through their entire script and I asked them what they needed from me to resolve the issue.  They told me my social and my credit card.  I then asked them if they were out of their F___ing minds and if they thought I was really going to give them that info over the phone.  I told them I knew it was a scam and the guy whispered into the phone "F_ you".  I told "F off you a-Hole" and hung up.  It is annoying to get their calls, but when you are in the right mood, it is fun to play around with them.

These people have been harassing me for day said i took out a payday advance loan and their are the lawyers trying  to get me to pay $300 .  Plus they told me he knows where I live and gave me my home address and place of business, that want stop call unless i pay them.

John Williams is calling my cellphone and my work number saying I have a lawsuite filed against my social security number and I need to call him immediately. When we call and inform him we filed bankruptcy, he tells me it does not matter. I am in jeopardy of losing my job because he calls at work 3-4 times a day.

I got a message on my voicemail saying to give a call to Shawn weiss because I was about to be under litigation. I called back and a man with an accent said this Shawn Williams. He said that I needed to pay some bill that was 786.00. I asked him what company was it from.  He went on to say something about a payday loan and when I told him I don't have a payday with cashland. He went on to say it was my student loans. I have one more payment with salliemae and my acs loans are in deferment so I knew something wasn't right. When I was asking questions I did here that this conversation was being recorded.  I told them that I needed to call my student loan company and call them back and that's when I googled the number I saw all the other posts. On my caller id it was +052928512

I keep getting these calls as well.  I know it's not very "PC" of me, or even very nice, but I usually let them speak for a minute, then start saying "Death to Hamas".    They stopped their calls for about 3 months, and recently started again.  I missed his call earlier today, but rest assured when he calls tonight around seven, I will say it again.  It seems to subdue them a bit...

Received the same thing as apparently everyone else, this guy with a very thick accent called me claiming I owe them money on a payday loan. When I asked for documentation they got nasty then hung up. Today this guy called me back and told me he knows where I live and gave me my home address and place of business, the then proceeded to tell me he loved my voice and just wanted me to talk to him. When I told him I was contacting the police and NY State Attorney General, he told me he didn't care and loved me and didn't care if he lost his job. He's since called a few times and I have refused to answer. I contacted my local police who said these kinds of cases are really hard to prosecute because they can't find where they are calling from. Please be aware of this scammer, the police suggested I call my cell phone carrier and  see if they can block this phone number.

I received a call from a guy saying his name is Dennis Anderson with ACLS (Affiliated Consolidation Legal Services) from this phone number 347.460.9758.  Mr. Anderson was over the top with his scare tactics of trying to get me to pay $300 from some payday online loan he claims I applied for back in June 2010.  I asked him to provide me with proof that I received these funds and when.  He got upset and threatens to serve me with lawsuit papers.  I told him to go right ahead and gave him my attorney's phone number.  He then told me that I would have to hire and attorney to represent me at the hearing or I could settle the matter with him right now.  Now my previous sentence didn't I say I gave him my attorney's phone number; so why would I need to hire one if I already have one.  Hmmm...

Anyway this guy is a co artist with a weak con.  People don't get caught off guard these so called debtor collectors are running game!    

If you are in a situation where you have past due bills and debt collectors are calling you; don't avoid them take their calls.  Before, you make any arrangements with a debtor, request proof of the debt in writing.  Once you receive the proof research it and confirm if it is indeed your debt.  Make sure the company is legitimate before setting any arrangements with them.  Remember we have not always been in debt so don't feel bad if you are and still do your diligence.

Just wanted to let y'all know I too got a call from this guy...not only did he say the same stuff about a payday loan, BUT he also informed me of possible "work" (he has contacts in USA) to help make the loan payment and also to live ANYWHERE I chose, drive a BRAND NEW car and ALL my needs and wants would be met!! Hmmm...he then explained to me that women in his country sometimes find themselves without income and of course they weren't allowed education so they had to find other *ways* to make money....Ummm, can you say SLAVERY or PROSTITUTION? I think this guy has his turban on a lil too tight messin with a Texas chic...

I was called by someone at 347-460-9758.  I first talked to Alex Parker who said that he was going to transfer me to a Sr. Attorney with his firm.  I was then transferred to Denny or Danny Wilson who said he was with the firm of ALS....  He spoke so fast that I didnt get all the letters, sorry.  He told me that I was being sued for nonpayment of a payday loan, under a different name than ANY payday loans I have ever taken.  They both wanted me to confirm my social, which I refused to do.

I had the same call, and he told me in a threatening manner that he would see me at the couthouse.  I asked for the address and phone number.  I googled the address and it was a library in Ithaca, NY

I live in CA, and this guy kept calling my department, and the receptionist would transfer the call until he got tired of it. These a**&^%$s called on average 10 - 15 times a day!  The recptionist noted that it would be a guy with an accent,  or American,  and he identified at least 4 different voices. Today, they kept calling asking for the fax number which he refused to give them, and they just kept calling back.

They would never leave a message. So he knew they were probably a collection agency. He wanted to bait them, so he told me the next time they call, ask for his name and number, and that I will call him back on my break. What he gave me was his name: "LEE JOHNSON" & the number: 347-460-9758.

The receptionist then found this site!!  Hopefully all you people who have posted on this board are reporting these scumbags to SOMEBODY like the FBI, or NY State Attorney General's office!!

And if so, wonder why they have not done anything about it??

Got a call at my work place from "David Johnson" who spoke with a heavy Indian or Pakistani Accept.  What a joke!   Hung up on him.   He called back and left voice mail and threatened that I had better not ignore his call.

Look buster ... I survived Hurricane Katrina.  I swam through my home, rescuing 10 pomeranians and 1 Maltese.  Within 3 hours of getting out in a boat and being dropped off on dry land, one of my poms died in my arms from the heat.   I lived on the street for the next 3 days ... in a looted shopping center no less.  When the waters receded, I had to bring my poor dogs back to a hideously destroyed home ... because the person that offered to give me a ride to Baton Rouge would not take my pets.  I rode 80 miles in the back of a pick up with a 90 pound Rotweiler that belonged to the driver.   I was able to find the last rental car in Baton Rouge (I swear to God) and went right back to my destroyed home and rescued all my pets.  I was 60 years old at the time.  I THINK I CAN HANDLE YOU!!!!!

Yeah i had gotten a call from a different number (+052928512) and actually had filled out and the paperwork and gave them the info to pay them -then i found out it was a scam so i wrote them telling them that i have cancelled my card because of this and they can have nothing.  They wrote me back the WORST letter i have ever read from a company. They stated i was "nastly" lady and that would never take a penny from mwe as i called them a scam.  Then they stated they will be taking me to "the court" - then at the end of this letter once again asked for my cooperation in paying them... ?

They also gave me this number (347-460-9758) as the person i owe the payday loan money to which is still affiliated with them.

If you've given them your credit card info, call your card issuer, tell them you've been scammed, you want your card canceled and replaced with a new one, and the issuer should claw the money back if it's been already taken. I have received calls from a few different numbers.  The guy sounds like he is from another country and is reading from a script.  He says they are a legal service and have dispute against my social security number.  They say I need to call them or the next contact will be from a lawyer.  I called the number that was given and the phone was disconnected.  Then, another message was leftwith the number 347-460-9758  and I thought I'ld call and see who they were.  When they answered the phone, they didn't address a business, just said can I help you?  I asked what company they were.  He said they are not a company, but a legal service.  We set up payment arrangements for a payday loan on my debit card.  He said he needed to fax a form for me to sign off on agreeing to the arrangement.  I didn't want it faxed to my work so I asked him to email it to me, which he did.  The email address was faxes.acls@gmail.com.  This put up a red flag for me, with an address of gmail.  I googled the "company" and found this is a common scam that is going on.  The guy called my cell phone the next day after I hadn't filled out the necessary paperwork and was wondering when I could get that done.

You should totally mess with him when he calls.  It's a lot of fun.

This man says he is John Williams and is from the department of law and investigations. He said if I want to sey\ttle out of court for a complaint against my social security number then I had better return his call.I have had 4 different numbers from people calling me for a dispute about I got money from a payday loan and I didn't pay when I was supposed to and now people are trying to sue me for not paying. All these people are trying to do is get free money from our honest dollars. All of the phone calls including this one sound like they are reading a script. also this guy sounded like he was trying not to laugh while he was reading his script. He is not legitimate and I am going to laugh along and ignore him. I hope anyone and everyone does the same.
