Received same message on cell and they phone my place of employment. This time is was a Alice Cooper.  I guess he use to play with the band KISS  I spoke to them about a month ago telling them I knew this was not a legit company.  They threaten to have police come to place of employment to serve legal documents.  I told them to go ahead but for them to be prepared to be arrested too for false docucments because I don't own CashUSA any money.  No one give notices of when they will be arresting you for a debt not paid.  They may file a judgment  but not arrest.  I have reported it to CashUSA but they will not do anything.  They say it's out of their hands.  Filed a complaint with the FBI but they have not done anything either.  So we are stuck with people like this who pry on individuals who don't know what to do and give their momey to these scam companies.

I will take the advice. They are doing exactly as you stated; they have called my work twice and I informed my employment to tell them I no longer work there.  I have reported it to the FTC and this is really getting annoying. I am tempted to change my cell number and I am at a new place of employment. One time I called this number of the " company' or payday company- given by them. They are an Attorney! Supposedly. I know it is a scam and a little comforting I am not alone, although I would rather not go through this.

I have received a call on this number. Aligation on my social security number and gave last 4 numbers; same accents as said in other responses.

I've gotten numberous calls from a guy named Andy Brown with a middle eastern accent on my cell & especially at work, he is very rude and says he's calling me because I took out a pay day loan and I ddnt pay it back on time so he's calling to collect the payment before it gets turned into the court & goes under investigtion. Ive told him many times so sorry but I'm the only one working at the time I dont have the money to pay anything back right now, and he wont take NO for an answer. he insists I have to pay now! so I just hang up on the guy, then he continues to call me at my work over and over again even though Ive asked him many many times to not call me at work because I cannot speak to him on the phone while Iam working & he does not care. he'll just keep on calling back like up to easily 30 times in a day myself & co-workers have told him to not call back because Im not ging to speak to him at work, then  after various calls he starts swearing at me, or my co-workers or to whoever answers, like : you stupid s***, bi***, dumb s***, mother-fuc--r, s***-fuc- there's just so many bad words he'll keep saying & has even started to threaten my coworkers when they tell him Im not available, he'll say dont make me do something I dont want to do...   Id really appreciate it if someone can put a stop to these harrassing phone calls from this guy he obdviously has no manners nor professional experience in collecting money and cussing someone out & threathening them isnt the way to collect either, right?

A man by the name Mac calls me at home and at work, told them to stop calling me. Told him I knew it was a scam. He called me 3 times at work today in less than 5 minutes. My boss even told him to stop calling me at work. Spoke with a cop friend of mine and was told to contact the state police and file harrassment charges by communication device. Wish me luck.

These people have started calling me saying that I owe money for payday loan to Advanced Cash USA. I did have this loan but paid it off to another company that I now feel was a scam as well because the phone prefix was also 347 and the number is no longer in service. The company was ACLS and ACS.  I do have the documents to show that the loan is paid. I informed the "supervisor" that I was returning call to John Hudson who he stated was gone for the day.I informed him that my bill was paid and his company was a scam.He has also left a message threatening me and my son saying we need a lawyer. He did end the call as the others stated :God Bless You and Good Luck! How do I get this to stop?

It is a scam. Mine is serious enough....they have my complete ssn, dob, address phone numbers to home work and cell.  They know addresses etc. They call using the same tactics as above. I have received a payday loan but was paid back and not from the company listed. If you want to know if it is valid, ask for their physical work address so you can look up the company and address with better business bureau.  Most times they won't give it to you and then you know it is fake. One time they had a real attorneys bar association number because they stole his identity. They want you to settle up. Just tell them upfront you know its a scam and you have already contacted the police. They are from the Middle East somewhere.

This is a scam.  I asked the guy for his name, his supervisor names and the company name.  He claims the company is called PCS - Public Collections Service.  So I googled the name of the company and it is supposed to be located in Plantation, FL.  Is there such a place?  These people have been calling my house for months, they even called my mother.  First I do not have a payday loan with anyone and second these people aren't even american, they sound of African descent.  So the dude who has been calling me goes by the name of Alex Matthews, and his supervisor name is Matt Dawson.  I see from these posts that Alex Matthews is supposed to be the supervisor.  Funny huh?  So I hope this helps anyone who wants to file a complaint.

i got the same call to saying he was stephen foster and there was a serious legal claim against me and had the last 4 of my ssn

I received a call from these people last night. They said that I co-signed on a loan from a friend of mine and that my friend didn't pay so that I better - The man claimed to be named Brian Smith - but had an accent so bad I could barely understand him! He gave me the 347-474-7040 number to call him back - but all it does is play music - and then a voice answers saying that nobody is available to answer your call - so you will now be disconnected. I was going to be REALLY upset with this friend - but I'm glad I googled the number first!

Got a call on my cell phone today, and then twice at work. Second time at work, I had googled and found this. So, I knew it was a scam. Each time they stated a different company.....

I told them it was illegal to call me at work in the state of WA, and then he went off on me, cussing, and asking to speak to my supervisior. I told him that I knew this was a scam, as I googled the phone number, and found things on it. He went on to say I was a scam artist, stating that I took a payday loan out from Cash USA (Never have) and that I never paid them.

He then went on to say that he would come to my place of work to collect. I hung up on him at this point.

I have gotten several of these calls and they say they want me to settle out of court or give them an attorney name. They can't even speak english that well and it's hard to understand them. I am going to file harrassment if I can figure out who this is. Anyone know?

Received a call from these people yesterday for my son.  They had left a message with this return phone number.  The guy said his name was Alex Matthews and spoke in very broken English, but sounded like a VERY HEAVY oriental accent - Japanese?   He gave a company name but, I couldn't understand him, so I returned the call, and as stated above, it was about some debt that was owed.  I asked for someone who spoke better English, but he became verbally abusive using obscene language.  I hung up on him.  Decided to call back and ask for a supervisor or manager - that was a joke!  The guy that answered this time would not give me his name and he was even more abusive and obscene.  I just hung up.  Does it do any good to file a complaint???

They just called me a while ago telling that a legal case filed against me, so I need to call this number and look for Spencer McKenzie Jr. He sounds the same person calling me a month ago, always with the message Good Luck and God BLess at the end of his messages.

They keep calling with threatening messages.

I have keep getting calls from some india speakin guy, telling me that I took out a pay day loan in October, which is not true.  When I ask for his information he starts cursing and accuse me of trying tp escape the law.  With my line of work I'm not allowed to take out payday loans, and if I did he would already have my banking information.  A real company would be happy to provide their contact info.

Claims to be debt collector from payday loan that I did NOT have.  Threatening messages asking for attorney info. and saying "God Bless You and Good Luck".  Speak VERY broken English.  Gives American/English name with STRONG middle-eastern accent.  ie: Officer Mark Reneiecen, Aaron Thompson, Mike Davis, Michael Davis, Shane Harris, Shaun Harris, John Adams, John Rogers, Eric Williams .  Threatening jail time,  ?a bad situation unfolds?, court fees.  Sometimes claims to be from "All American Financial" or "Federal Dept. of Justice."  Claims to "download" a subpoena..arrest warrant...law suit..going to arrest me at work...meet me at courthouse...must have my "retained attorney of record" call as soon as possible. Sometimes has the nerve to say ?God Bless You? or ?Good Luck?.  HILARIOUS considering I actually work for the state level Justice Cabinet! Sometimes claims to be representing CashNetUSA or CashUSA.Net. I called CashNetUSA and they stated that this was a scam.  They have NO information on me whatsoever. Call cell, place of business..and anyone you may have listed as a reference on an online payday loan or anything else....from years ago! Gave him the # to my attorney....the Better Business Bureau....became irate. Also give number to local police fraud division as attorney?s number.   Using female ?Kim Stewart from Jaffe and Jaffe Law Firm? claims to have sent legal documents to a gmail account.  So silly! Officer Chris Williams from law firm of "Cyber Crime Unit".  States supervisor will be arrested and interrogated as well!!

Have filed/reported complaint with State Attorney General's Office, IC3, Credit.com, this website, numerous other scam alert websites and anyone else who will listen, it is actually VERY comical now.  My co-workers and I enjoy listening to the voice messages or "playing along" with their script.  "We will arrest you at work." where do I work?"  "You know where you work."  Complete IDIOTS!!

Has now started sending ridiculous emails to a rarely used gmail account. States to call 408-663-9405 if I don't want to go to jail, but that I'm going to jail because I won't pay.  Horrible, broken english.  Obviously a botched attempt at a form letter/email.
