I have also been getting several calls a day saying to stay on the line to save on my Dominion Gas bill. 3 or 4 times I have stayed on the line and asked them to stop calling and remove my number, but the calls continue.  The operator said she was calling from Live Voice and her name was Talitha and her agent number was 528. They always say they will remove our number and always hang up on me. Funny thing. I don't have gas hooked up to my house so one of these times I'm going to have them give me the big discounts they are so anxious to give me.

Same thing..all day long!  I want to get them in trouble but don't know how to do it!!  I didn't have the number until I saw this google site because I don't have call waiting so I always answer.  I wait for  a person and then I ask who they are and they have hung up on me twice at that point.  Do they think we are stupid??  Who would deal with a scam like this?  Why don't they stop?

they call, you ask the name and today she replied  LIVE WIRE. i then googled and received your feedback. I said how do i get you to stop calling;she immediately said I took you off mam and immediately hung up. This is one of a hundred called i have gotten.Sick of it. I too am not able to get any information to phone 3 when I say I want to call back as I am busy now. Don't have caller ID so happy to know one of the annoying phone numbers. I have also used profanity and hung up screaming. All to no avail. the do not call registry did not stop the calls. I am filing my NYS attorney generals office and hope it helps. thanks for the feedback and information all.

This number 347-502-2582 can be traced it is a cell phone form New York City. Go To peoplesmart.com and pay .95 cents for a 7 day trial period then you can cancel, other wise they will charge each month.

Claiming to be duquesne light but aren't. Going to start calling duquesne light and complaining every time I get one until they get them to stop.

I get these calls also and I am located just outside of Cincinnati. They come almost everyday. They will not give you a phone number unless you go through their process. This is far beyond harrassment !!!!!!!! Any group that was on the level would give you information about the company when asked. Worst of all is they won't stop after repeated pleas to do so. I pray someone has the ability to stop their operation.

The caller ID sometimes shows this number as "Client Retention" and other times shows the same number as "Rate Approval".  I ignore them every time.

I have this number BLOCKED on my Verizon account and they still manage to get through. How are they doing it?

I receive calls from 347-502-2582 constantly.  I was receiving them a few months back and then the calls started back up again about 2 weeks ago.  I received a call today (March 6, 2013) and hit the Option 9 to speak to someone and a women by the name of Myesha (sp?) with ID # 4429 indicated that she was calling from Live Voice on behalf of Energy Deregulation.  I advised her that I have been trying to get them to place me on the do not call list but they still call.  She denied that I ever requested to be placed on the do not call list.  Before I could say anything else, she hung up.  

I tried to call that number many times and hit option 1 for the do not call list, but it does not work.  I agree that everyone should file a complaint with the Attorney General of their State and file a complaint with the FCC and/or FTC.  If they government receives enough complaints maybe they'll look into it and take action.  It's shameful to think people are being taken advantage of by these people.  It's also shameful that they are able to circumvent the laws to continue to harrass and annoy consumers and we can't get them to stop.  

By the way, Area code 347 is a New York City area code used as an overlay to 718 and 917. It is used for landlines in the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island, as well as the Marble Hill and Inwood sections of Manhattan.

The scream sounds nice, b/c I am not shelling out money to get a whistle for these people.  I might even tell 'em about Jesus!

I answered the 20th or 30th call from this number and requested we be taken off their call list.  The "lady" on the other end hung up on me and the calls have continued.  Anyone know of a device you can sound into your phone once you allow a human on the other end?  I'd like to damage an eardrum or two.

I receive multiple calls per day, and well into the evening from these people who are "concerned about getting me help with my electric bill".  It is definitely a scam; and I do like the idea of blowing a whistle in their ear.  I am tired of the phone ringing all day long - it is annoying.  I think I will go with a blood curdling scream next time they call.

No idea what they want or who they represent, but have many calls over several weeks from this number

I too have been receiving this same annoying call about my Duquesne Light bill from so called Electric Assistance. This company does not exist I was told by the PA PUC.  First of all I do not have Duquesne Light, so I have no billing number to present to them. I called Duquesne Light 412-393-6000 to complain.  They have nothing to do with this company.  They told me to call (and I did), the PA Public Utility Commission 800-692-7380 and The PA Attorney Generals Office DO NOT CALL LIST COMPLAINT 888-777-3406.  That lady directed me to their web site where I filled a complaint on line.  In addition I called the 347-502-2582 number five times and pressed the button #1 to annoy them too.  I may do it some more until they get the HINT.

347-502-xxxx (differing ending digits).. calls at end of month, does not leave message. Often calls 8:45 a.m. or 8:00 p.m., sometimes multiple times per day, if it is end of month, as 27 - 28th of February.

Call blocking, so far, has not worked. Telemarketer has dialed our number a dozen times since January 2013.

I am getting repeated, harassing calls, sometimes several times a day, from this phone number. There is a recorded message that asks about my Duquesne Light electric bill. I have held on to this call 3 times until a human answers the phone, and have requested that they stop calling me, but the calls are continuing. Today when I spoke to a woman (she did not give her name, only an I.D. # which she said so quickly that I could not get) and asked her what company she represented, she simply hung up.

They have been calling once or twice every day and never leave a message. Our caller ID says that their name is RATE APPROVAL.

Robot caller. "lower your utility bill" Bull@#$%.

I get two calls from these b*****ds one minute apart every day while I am at work.  At least they dont call on the weekend (so far).  ID says 'Rate Approval'.

I have been getting 2 to 3 calls from this 347-502- number and variations of this number.  Sick of it.  It's a recording.  How can this be stopped?!

If you have Comcast phone service, you can block those numbers.*60  then the # sign then punch in the number and hit the # sign again.  You can continue to add another number or hang up to end.  I'm not sure what the number limit is though.

You're right.  When you ask who they are or to talk with a supervisor, they hang up on you.   I asked to be removed from their list two weeks ago and they have called me every day since then,even though they say you will be removed in 24 hours.  Don't think it would do any good to report them to the PUC - they are useless too.  I blew an airhorn in the guys ear today.

This number has been calling me for days. I stayed on the line to explain that I don't have Duquesne Light and they hung up on me. I tried calling back but it's an answering machine that says to press 1 to be removed from the calling list. I did that and it said it would take 24 hrs. They called me two days later again! Again I waited on the line for a rep. and before they could hang up on me I told the girl to "Quit calling me and hung up on them". Not that this will help but I feel much better.
