I got them too. Called them back and they were all apoligies when I threatened to report them to the Government Do Not Call. Good Luck to you!!!!

This time I called them back and it is a company selling drugs over the inntermnet. When I told them I was on the government do not call they apologized all over themselves and told me they would remove my number. Now we wait and see. Next time I will report.

A lot of noise in the backgrouond I knew right away it was not a friend of mine so hung up. If it happens again Goverment Do Not Call gets the complaint.

i had just gotten a phone call from a man asking for justin..i said he had the wrong number cuz this was about the 6th time this week they called asking for the same person..i said "take my number off ur list!" he said "okay baby" i flipped telling him he has no right to call me that!!  then he called me a "f****ng bi***" and hung up..if anyone knows where these people work i would really appreciate it!

got a call from this number who says he is "pharmacy of America"  wanting to renew my prescription.  I don't know them.  He had an Indian accent.  Pressed him for details but got none so I told him to quit calling.  He or someone else then called back later that day with the number showing "restricted" on my phone.  

It looks like this is some sort of general fake number that telemarketers are using since earlier posts suggest mortgages of loans and my caller was calling about drugs.

Can't something be done about this?

This number called my cell phone and it came up as from New York.  No one left a voicemail message. I called back and said Hello, the guy on the other end said Hello, and then he hung up one me.  So I don't know who these people are.

Kevin just called me and I asked him who he wanted to speak with and he couldn't give me a name!  This is very annoying and I have no idea of how these people get access to your information.

I received calls all day and night from this number. It shows up on caller ID as Accatel. I called number back and got up on hold, then disconnected. I would like to know how I can get these calls to stop. Is there anyway I can report and to whom?

This nuisance number calls my house many times daily . . . sometimes 1--15 or more.  Kevin is the caller and uses foul language and is rude . . .   this is because I refuse to talk to them . . .  usually just mute the call

I had 3 calls from these people yesterday. I'm getting so many calls from spammers and scammers that I don't even answer my phone anymore unless I recognize the number. Thanks for the info, all. Too bad our politicians are too busy campaigning for re-elections constantly or maybe they could do something about this crap.

The only way to block it is if your land line carrier offers call blocking, or if you have a smart phone (blackberry, etc) you can download a free app called Mr. Number Callblock.  Once you put the number into that app, it will ring if they call, but only once, then the call gets disconnected and you get a notification that the call was blocked.  It's a real pain in the a**.

I would also like to know as they keep calling me at work. I told them I was going to file harassment charges yet they still keep calling. Does anyone know about this so called "company"? IT'S A HUGE SCAM!

Said they were taking a Consumer survey and would send $100 gas card.  Tried to collect personal info.  SCAM!!

I just had the same thing happen--I picked up the phone and all I heard was "goodbye." And they call quite often, usually don't leave a message.  When they do leave a message, it's just the "goodbye" thing.

Got the call but no voice thank God.

I get calls from this number.  There has been 10 of them in last 10 days.  They hang up when it goes to answering machine.  This is an invation of my privacy since it can even happen when I am in church.

This number is calling me every 10 days! So annoying!!! I never picked up the phone but when i was trying to call back it's just ringing and ringing and nobody is picking up, and the voice machine is not coming on. I'm just going to call my cell phone company and make them block this number!

Pharmacy. The guy who called has Indian accent. He offered me 20% discount on medication and he wanted to know what medication I'm taking. I said I'm not telling him and hung up. He called 5 times.

Follow-up:  I did get a call back from the voice message I left with "Debt Consolidation Ontario", that I called using the phone number from the web-site.  I was advised that the call I rec'd  from Michael Brown was legit.  It seems they out-source their marketing calls with American marketing companies.

Someone by the name of Michael Brown just called asking me questions if I had a mortgage and if so, what was the interest rate.  I'm Canadian and he said he was calling from Debt Consolidation Ontario.  He knew I was suspicious and advised I could look on the web at "debt-consolidation-ontario.com" and He'd call me back in a few hours.  I checked out the web-site and  I called the phone number listed on the web-site and left a vm advising calls are being made and the caller is identifying himself as an employee of this company.  Also, I looked up the area code 347 and found it is one of New York's area codes.  Can't understand why a Canadian company would be calling Canadians  from the US exchange.  The name Michael Brown does not match the foreign accent this man has.  As I mentioned above, Michael Brown said he'd call me back in a few hours.....we'll see if he does.
