He just wanted to purchase my couch in AZ of of offerup he asked for number he texted me and asked me how much and if I was selling anything else.  He wanted me to set up Pay Pal which I already have but felt really weird so I just went on here and am glad I read all this before I gave him info.   He gave me same story in Military in NY will have is shipping handler come pick it up LMAO shipping handler what is that. BAHA   scammer

He just contacted me about buying my tv. But wants me to send money to a shipping company wich I will not be doing that.

Just inquired about a Tacoma I have for sale.   Only asking how much I was looking to get for it nothing about the truck. Once I responded with the price I am looking for n that I have extra pics if they're seriously interested, almost instantly they replied they'd buy it. No more questions asked at all about the truck, just would it be ok if they paid me through my pay pal account. Which is funny because they don't know me n I've never sold anything on craiglist before. I also didn't put in the add that I have a pay pal account or linked it in anyway. Even if they're just going off the assumption that almost everyone selling stuff on the internet must have a pay pal account, don't you think it's odd only a price question was asked about the truck no history or reliability questions?

Just now did the same thing to me on Rumgr about a vehicle I've listed for sale. Asking for paypal info and sending a personal agent. Stay away folks

Scam, texting from "military base in new York," wanted to pay me by PayPal for some furniture I'm selling on Craigslist. Stay Alert!

So I posted a listing on Rumjr to sell a pellet gun and this person under the name "Red M." responded saying he would buy it and gave me his number. I sent him a text and he said he would buy it and asked for my Paypal account. Then became very demanding when I didn't give him my Paypal info. That's when I found these reviews and stopped communicating with him. I am in Las Vegas. Why is he looking at an ad for something from NY. He said he would pay me extra for his personal shipping agent to come and pick up everything... Ummm no thanks. Watch out!

he just tried the same thing to me trying to buy couches and sending extra to my paypal, i told the a***ole to send the extra to the shipping co n paypal me the money, he's telling to ck my email or spam. i said y? if ur send me money paypal will notify me i f have money received, scamming jack off

Be careful.  This person replied to an add on craigslist and provided this number.  Total scam.  He mentioned that he is in NY on military base.  Why would he want to buy a couch in Colorado?  Asked to pay by paypal.

Caller responded to my call Dibs ad wanting to purchase multiple items.  Wanted to pay extra for shipping, via pay pal. Careful folks, not sure what the motive was there.
