Wanted me to call back, some pay day loan wasn't paid. I am sick of them calling!
Dawn 2014-05-29 17:53:41 Debt Collector
Rec'd voice mail message from someone with a heavy middle-eastern accent - stated they are looking for a "relative" of mine, but then used my daughter's name, and stated she had committed a fraudulent act online. I tried to call the number the guy left but only got an answering machine.
I have reported this number before to the state attorney general but they are unable to locate the source...definitely a scam!

This company called my work place and said it was regarding company business. Once he transferred me to the supervisor I asked for some information that they did provide. They told me that I took a cash advance from Cash Advance America back in Oct 2013 and they gave me the amount and the bank account (last 4) and bank name.
Sorry to say that I have not had a bank account with this company in over 2 years due to this same thing happening in 2010 (which I am still fighting them). This is a scam and I do not like being a part of this. I have been trying to get them to take me to court for 2 years but they just keep calling and passing this from company to company. I am getting tired of it and I have even contacted Home Land Securities about this and they told me I am not the only one and they are researching this as we speak, DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE!!! DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

My caller used the name Jack Wilson (I think). Heavy accent so it made it hard to understand. First time he called me he used a different name & threatened to take me to jail! Same scenario: I owe money for pay day loan gone unpaid. Funny thing, tho, is you HAVE to repay those loans within your next pay check.

They called me at work. The best thing blocked their number. They are scam and mostly middle eastern pretending they're calling from a law office. A guy named David miller. Beware!!!!
Not Interested 2014-05-19 16:45:53 Unknown
Said name was Jack Watson. Heavy accent. People speaking in the background. Called an office looking for someone but referred to them in the wrong gender. Asked to call back for urgent legal matter.

I ran the other here you listed as getting a originating call from:
http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-543-465-4768
After reading some of that, that number is associated with a extortion scam operation regarding pay day loans. The above posts also indicate extortion scam operation. In fact one poster points to BCS imposters. He is indeed spot on, there is a real BCS agency I found upon googling. None of the info match's with the numbers here, either from your originating call, or the call back number. It is not unusual for extortion scammers to use and abuse a real agency's name.
Here's the info on the real BCS:
http://www.bbb.org/denver/business-reviews/co ... 2296/complaints
As you can see, the phone numbers do not match up. You might contact them regardless in this matter, it would at least give them a heads up their name is being used and abused by extortion scammers. One important thing to remember if these extortion scammers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!

Whoever is calling from this number first calls from 543-465-4768. Then he tells you to call 347-627-1136 because of a urgent legal matter. He says he's from legal department of BCS/so who are they?
Kathy 2014-05-13 22:14:05 Unknown
Received four calls total. Two on Thursday morning around 10:45 am. On Saturday, received two more calls.
Caller gave his name, but couldn't understand because of heavy accent. He stated call was from BCS. Unknown what company this is. He had my name with last four digits of my social security number.
Stated I should call because of some kind of fraud.
According to him, I needed to call right away to find out details. Otherwise they were going forward.
In the past six months have received similar calls threatening arrest.
So far, have not called. Each time, call is from different numbers. Supposedly, they are from State Police, FBI or DOJ.
Didn't know they made contact in this manner.

Steve Watson (with a Hindu accent and with a whole bunch of people talking in the background) said it is important and to call him immediately to verify paperwork.

This really strange message reached my cell phone the one that's number is on the national DNC list. A man refered to himself as Officer Steven Watson. His accent was extremely thick, his first langauge is Hindi. Well, in this message he says that court documents state that I am getting sued and he has my social security number and I must call. Then he said I will be in trouble and mumbled something in a creepy voice about my daughter. His speak was in a threatening tone and he covered contradicting incriminating accusations about me. He said he represents a government agency. His number is a ny Bronx number and I live in Florida. He said I am being sued for fraud and he has my social and better call him.....my daughter yada yada. I know it is a complete SCAM but one just may fall for it and send him money! FTC will know of this! BEWARE!
