Yup, I called back and it's HBW Leads, a tele-marketing company. Their voicemail system does offer the option of being placed on their do not call list. Let's see if that works.

Nobody really thinks that these people are alstate workers or electricians. But if the other people are fooled read this meassage.

These people call me for atleast 6 times a day. There just the kind of people that expect you to hand over your personal information. Then the next day people say someone else is you!

Caller from 347-694-4955 is appearing as "HBW". Male caller was asking for a specific person (Believe he just randomly picked a common name he thought of), and when asked what the person's last name he is looking for he didn't answer. Instead caller acted as if you're the one who called him after asking him who he's looking for. Then he asked if he called a business. Weird caller and definitely a fake call.

It's some kind of boiler room telemarketing operation that isn't legitimate.  They don't even answer as Allstate if you get through calling back.  Another one to just not answer folks.  They are maggots but they know it and don't care because they choose to do this for a so called living.  Real insurance companies do not market like this, they use lizards / geckos and cartoon characters on tv.  ;)

Caller said he was from allstate and wanted to give me free quote. Told him I had allstate already.

Said it was Allstate with competitive rate quote

The phone calls are at night and day , It is sick

They can't touch my rates but didn't seem to know that about Amica. never mind they don't even know how to answer their phone, is it allstate or hsbw leads?

I have had calls from insurance companies for other things and it always shows the insurance company real # on caller id.  

All the money allstate spends on ads, and now they would risk being irritating maggots to people like this?  no they would not.

I think I am correct about this all being the same or just a few scumbag, so called companies making these bullsh*** calls and perhaps they read sites like this and change their numbers to numbers such as (203) 826-2177 and many others when they see us posting about them.  Then again I don't know and don't care. They are losers and crooks who being in jail.

I'm now pretty confident that this number is related to others on this site, from other area codes, which are spoofed / faked numbers or whatever.

It's the same con artists that belong in jail and who claim to be selling discount electric, auto insurance or whatever they think will let them con unsuspecting folks out of money, personal info or whatever.

Don't answer these calls.  You can't call them back and that ain't a legit company if you can't call back or that doesn't say anything and uses computers when they call like this.

These are the scum of the earth behind these calls.  And when one set of phony numbers stops calling, they reappear with another number like this one.

Just don't answer, give em hell if you do, but know that you are dealing with scum.  Yup, I'm crabby about this kind of crap.

Everyday I get a call from this number on my office phone. When I pick up nobody speaks anything. Then they hang-up. I don't know what this person wants really.

They called if I was my husband lol I said Umm not they hung up...  I called back and heard children in the background then hung up.  This is ridiculous they need to be stopped!  Scamming people is a disgusting thing to do!

Every day 5 times all day I got it a call from this # 347-694-4955 and they no said anything I don't know with time warner cable gave my number and no blocked that suspicious call

I just got a call from this number stating they were from an alternative electric company and we should have received a notice with our bill that we have a choice to switch. I had my bill in front of me and when I said there was nothing there they disconnected the call.

Another call at 8:07 pm yesterday (5 June).

I received a call today from this number at work. After a said my greeting the woman said 'Really' laughed and hung up.  I tried to call back but the number does no recieve incoing calls.

I received a call today from this number.  The woman said Allstate is doing a free rate comparison.  I said I do not like to give my information over the phone, if you will give me your number I will be happy to call back.. the person hung up on me.

He said he was calling everyone in town from Allstate, wasn't selling anything and the call would only take 45 seconds.  Then he asked if I had any tickets or accidents in the last few months and I hung up.

Turned on my answering machine; caller did not leave message.
