this is truly a scam, be careful, they represent themselves as conedison, tell you to purchase instant money card and get $$ from you. I was warned and didn't loose my money! BE CAREFUL!!!

I first received messages regarding my son Ryan who is in the service.    I can't remember the names but it is always the same: 1) a person with a thick Indian accent 2) introduces themselves with an English name, re: Bob, Jason, Rick, etc.., 3) makes threats that they are going to have to start "legal action" regarding a " serious business matter"4) wants me to verify info..  THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't heard from them in a almost a year and then I get a call today.  The guy who called today said his name was Dale or Dave???? from the "Legal Department of Public Conservative Services"??? - he was so hard to understand because of his thick accent, even after listening to it several times.  WTF  I was already planning to get a new phone tonight..... I think I'll get a new number too.......

I just got off the phone with these guys...they hung up after I started finding holes in their story...

They keep calling me & leaving a message at work.  I understand thisi is a scam but how do we stop them?

Yes this is a total SCAM  I love the way every person that calls me is foreign - Indian i think - and have names like Steve, Justin, and Ricky.  REALLY???  These people call me every single day and usually more than once a day.  It is very very annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They threaten to send the sheriff and take me to jail and i tell them to go ahead...I'm waiting!!!!!!! I play along somewhat and they usually end up hanging up on me  lol

This is a scam. Some guy named Gary(Mohamad or seergit) Said serious trouble. You can herar in the background it's a sweet shop call center in India...Not sure how they got some of the info but I believe it was from a pay day advance on the internet....I am just going to ignore them and hope they go away.
Maybe I will file a fraudulant alert with the credit bureus.

Received several calls like this over the past two years. All different individual names, and bussiness names. The Latest is Samuel Lopez with PCS or Public Credit Services. However, I have gotten calls claiming to be from the goverment, or CashNet.net, and several others. They usually call a lot for a few weeks and then when they realize they aren't getting anything they quit, but 4 or 5 months later they start up again with a new name.  They always hang up on me when I tell them I know it's a scam, and will be contacting the FBI. I like to have a little fun with them and call back. Last time I had my son's and some of his friends help me. We continuously called the number back for a period of 2 hrs. So they could not make any outbound calls.

I was unable to answer the phone when call came in from 052497347. However the person calling was a male with a thick accent and terrible English. Stated there was a claim against my SS# and he was on his way to file a lawsuit against it. I needed to call him back right away at 3477091651 to avoid this. He called at my work location. I received 1 of these calls before about 2-3 months ago. I told them my attorney wanted them to call him and they stopped for awhile. Now they have started back.

how can we get this to stop....he's called my job 22 times today alone.

OMG!!! that guy Andy Brown called my job and threathen me and my boss...he called me a black monkey b*tch....he then said the reason I wouldn't let him speak to my boss further was because my father was f"ing her and that she was a s**t and so was I...he said I was a mf'ing ignorant slave...my boss and I will be calling the BBB.

Saying I received a loan from Cash Advance USA, I did not, they said there is a lawsuit against me, if they send me anything in the mail I am calling a lawyer, filing a complaint with the BBB and going for the throat. I work hard to provide for my family and I HATE when people attempt to rip me off.

Surviving is HARD enough without this crap.

I asked for the number to the company I was suppose to owe, they put me on hold, put two different people on the phone and then gave me this number 916-234-3016 (comes up California on caller ID).

All foreign non-speaking english people and sounded like a call center with nothing but the same calls and threats going on in the background ... at all numbers.

Got a call yesterday and then another just a few minutes ago...listening to both messages it is obviously the same person; however in yesterday's episode, he identified himself as "David Smith" and today he is "Adam Jackson"... claims to be from "PCS" or "Public Credit Services." Both times claiming it is a very serious legal matter...blah blah blah... ends each call with "Have a safe day." Unfortunately I missed both calls, and just got voice mail... I can't wait to answer... I might just try out some of my own unintelligible accents on them!!

Got a call about an hour ago from a Samuel Lapace. Telling very important I contact him b/c he has info about  my ss# and if I do not contact him, he is not responsible for what may happen to me in the very near future. Have received calls from several diffetent #'s, but they all say the same thing. I am tired of these people harrassing me.

This foreign person calls me every year harrassing me on my job and harrassing my employees. They go by a different name every year. I have reported this to BBB. I was told this was a SCAMMM!!!! HERE WE GO AGAIN, HE CALLS TODAY USING THE NAME SAMUEL

They keep calling my family members saying they are looking for me.  I have had the same phone numbers for years.  Why harass my family and piss them off?  I wish I could find out who you really are, then I would take extreme measures to make sure you could NEVER do this crap to anyone else.  You are just blood sucking leaches who are liars and thieves!!!   We had to file a bankruptcy because my husband lost his job because it was sent over seas to scabs like you.  It is because of your kind that makes my heart hurt with hate.  I have never hated until now.

Received a call from these people, Gasry Christian, said I needed to call them regarding a legal matter on my SS#, threatened a lawsuit agains tmy SS#. I believe this is a scam.

Received message from someone from this number. Said his name was Stephen Brown but he could barely speak English.  I could not understand a lot of this message, but what I can figure out, he is supposedly from American Legal Services.  He reports that a friend of mine has committed fraud and is in trouble.  They want me to respond as soon as possible or I could be involved legally since he had given my name as a reference.
I called the number back out of curiosity. They would not tell me anything but to have my friend call them at that number. (They have been harrassing my friend for months.)

Claims to be debt collector from payday loan that I did NOT have.  Threatening messages asking for attorney info. and saying "God Bless You and Good Luck".  Speak VERY broken English.  Gives American/English name with STRONG middle-eastern accent.  ie: Officer Mark Reneiecen, Aaron Thompson, Mike Davis, Michael Davis, Shane Harris, Shaun Harris, John Adams, John Rogers, Eric Williams .  Threatening jail time,  ?a bad situation unfolds?, court fees.  Sometimes claims to be from "All American Financial" or "Federal Dept. of Justice."  Claims to "download" a subpoena..arrest warrant...law suit..going to arrest me at work...meet me at courthouse...must have my "retained attorney of record" call as soon as possible. Sometimes has the nerve to say ?God Bless You? or ?Good Luck?.  HILARIOUS considering I actually work for the state level Justice Cabinet! Sometimes claims to be representing CashNetUSA or CashUSA.Net. I called CashNetUSA and they stated that this was a scam.  They have NO information on me whatsoever. Call cell, place of business..and anyone you may have listed as a reference on an online payday loan or anything else....from years ago! Gave him the # to my attorney....the Better Business Bureau....became irate. Also give number to local police fraud division as attorney?s number.   Using female ?Kim Stewart from Jaffe and Jaffe Law Firm? claims to have sent legal documents to a gmail account.  So silly! Officer Chris Williams from law firm of "Cyber Crime Unit".  States supervisor will be arrested and interrogated as well!!

Have filed/reported complaint with State Attorney General's Office, IC3, Credit.com, this website, numerous other scam alert websites and anyone else who will listen, it is actually VERY comical now.  My co-workers and I enjoy listening to the voice messages or "playing along" with their script.  "We will arrest you at work." where do I work?"  "You know where you work."  Complete IDIOTS!!

Has now started sending ridiculous emails to a rarely used gmail account. States to call 408-663-9405 if I don't want to go to jail, but that I'm going to jail because I won't pay.  Horrible, broken english.  Obviously a botched attempt at a form letter/email.

Received a call from a Jason Carter and Steven Buttler stating they had a series claim against my social.  Ultimately stating they were attempting to collect on a payday loan...I called an attorney who was very familiar with this number.  It is a SCAM.  Don't give them your information!

my husband recieved a call from this company and from a indian male with a heavy accent stating my husband had took out a loan & was being sent court papers to appear in court from the company cash advance. they had my credit card# & my husbands info. when asked for the cash advanced ph#, the male stated doesn't have the ph# at this moment. I told the guy, how do you not have the phone# to your clients that you are "so called" representing. The male got stumped and had no response. he supposably is going to send court papers to my home, but we'll see.

I received a message on my answering machine from a man with a strong foreign accent calling himself "Jacob Smith."  Most of what he said was unintelligible, but he said closed by saying that if I did not call him back, he "could not be responsible for what might happen to me in the near future."  I figured it was just some jack*** with his head thrust up inside his own rectum.  If he calls again, I'll call the cops.

I just had a call from a messed up number and the number for the return call was this 347-709-1651. Today, they must have put another name up on the board to use. It was Jacob Martin.

I got a call today from a guy named Rick James. He had a really bad foreign accent.  That some one I know or family member that used my name. If I didn't if I didn't call them back. i was looking at having my credit ruined.

Report them to your local Sheriff's office.  I did this several months ago when they kept calling me at work, on my cell, and then started calling and threatening my brother.  The detective called the number I had and spoke someone.  By the time it was over, the guy with the thick accent spoke perfect english and was in New York (I'm in MS).  He told him until he could come to MS and show legal documentation, to stop calling me because in this state it's considered harrassment.  I haven't received any calls until today.  They have started again.
