i got the call on a thurs.telling me i should retain an attorney or pay off my pay day loan,i do have a payday loan,but they couldn't tell me who the lender was..i am now out of 700.00,i should have figured it was a scam... they would call with this number and then they would call again and the number would be 000-000-0000.usually at the end of their threats on my answering machine they would say "good luck to you".i am now going to go to my bank to see if i can get  some of my money back somehow......

my sister got so stressed from these calls she had to go to the hospital . I had enough, got some friends together and for the last four hours we blocked our phone numbers and have called these idiots non stop to give them a taste of their own medicine. Obviously the authorities cant stop them so its time to stick together and show them we had enough. These people are not decent and care least about laws. FIGHT BACK!!!

I received a call from these people last week.  I determined that they were definitely trying to scam
me.  I too got as much information as they would give me.  Said that they were in Carlsbad, California.  Checked the number: it is out of New York.  Called the police who reassured me that no one was going to arrest me on Monday at my place of employment.  Today, Friday, they have started calling me again.  Is there anything we can do?

So far today I have had 11 phone calls from these clowns and  I am fed up with the harrasment.  There has to be a way to stop these idiots.

I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT I AGAINST THE LAW AND WOULD BE IN BIG TROUBLE IF I DIDN'T FORWARD THE MESSAGE TO THE EMPLOYEE.  I WOULD BE VERY HESITANT TO GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION TO THIS PERSON WHO CAN BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH.

I received call from this n umber ( person with an Indian Accent) , that monday they were going to execute an arrest warrent, totally false and a scam

I got a call at work today. Called them back from home. What a joke. Couldn't provide me any information. I asked for an address, and of course, New York City, NY. So I thought I'd have fun with them. Started singing, "New York" and thought I'd do a little Neil Diamond "America" lol. I got passed around to 3 different officers, and one, Officer Johnson, was rather funny. I decided to ask him about his "Johnson", and he offered me $5000 to make a movie with me!!! Once I was done having fun, told them I recorded the entire conversation, and would be submitting it to my attorney. They quickly hung up. That should take care of that. lol

Just got 3 calls today at my place of employment from these same people, first he said his name was nomand an the the 3rd call was dexter(the guy was from the middle east somewhere, you could tell by the accent). Called in regaurds to a payday loan that i still owe an claimed that a suit was in file against me an that i had to pay immediately. When i tried to make payment arranges they refused which i thought was strange an they kept telling me that if i did not pay then a suit would be filed tommorrow. Identified the place as First State Attorneys Services which i googled an discovered was bogus. Dont give any personal info out, dont know who they are but its deffinately a scam!! Oh an the other thing that i thought was strage was their number appeared on my caller id as 000-000-0000. I seriously doubt any real attorneys office would ever have thier number blocked.

Just received a call from "Jack Dawson" (yeah, right, as his accent is definitely from the region of Asia Minor) wanting to speak with my co-worker. Hey, isn't "Jack Dawson" Leonardo DiCaprio's character from 'Titanic'?  After reading these posts, she'll be told that the call came but the number will be thrown away.

I have got a call from 347-753-8189 stating that I owe them money for a payday loan.  I dont owe any payday loans I call the police and report it and also call a lawyer.  This person call me everyday the lawyer told me not to worry about them that it was a scam.  But if I have find out the person doing this I plan to have them arrested for harassment.

I was called  7/6/11 and the person onthe phone sounded like he was from India. He said his name was Mike. He kept ringing the phone so I let him have it. I pretended I was someone else. He said there was a case against A Thomas and A ThomasI had to return his as soon as possible. He said A Thomas has a case pending. Well I am A Thomas and I have never been in trouble with the law, so it is a lie. I was called again while on the computer and when I picked up I said "Yes I am reading something on the computer about this very phone number, the caller immediately hung up!

I also received a phone call from this number the man was obvioulsy from overseas but said his name was Steven Johnson and that I would be charged with all types of feloinies due to a payday loan compnay that I have never heard of. Told me to get a lawyer and went on and on. He couldnt give me the name or the number of the so called original creditor, so lets see of they call back. When they first called the number showed up as 0000, which I thought was weird.

they treat me and said that would have me arrest by the local sheriff dept so i went to the local sheirff dept and said that there is no warrent taken out and that this company is running a scam
