Jon Anderson called our client from this number.  When I called I was told that the atty name was Richard Ross.  When I tried to explain that I was calling from a law office the man pretended to speak little English and would not tell me what company they represent.  When I asked to speak to Richard Ross, the call was disconnected.

some one named J. Smith keeps calling me saying that I will be served and put in jail on Monday.  I have asked them to stop calling my job.  The loans I had were placed in bankruptcy and discharged and every time I try to give them my attorney's number...they don't want that..I had my attorney call them and they kept hanging up on him and giving him the run around....it is a scam....I wonder if we could sue these people for harassment.

I also have gotten several calls from this number.  I have asked them several times not to call me and they constantly keep calling.

I am receiving the same calls as the other callers. Telling me I owe a debt and I need to call this # as soon as possible" on my cell phone-which is the only phone I have. They leave messages. I am considering changing my phone number--it will be a job letting people know the   new #, but, hopefully, the calls will stop!! I have been receiving these calls for a year!!

omg tht chris lee called saying i would go to jail if i didnt pay them 700 dollars. i was scared so i paid but im getting that back asap. these ppl are scams im changing my number asap. someone had to sell them our info

I just got a call from this idiot named Kathleen Walker with a accent. I told that bi*** to stop harassing me and hung up on her.  And you can here on the background the jerk that calls me also. I wich they would stop calling me.

Left me a harassment voicemail with a male indian accent saying I owe money. It must be a scam because I dont owe any debt to this collector.

i received 5 calls in a row...I told them i was busy and they asked me to call back and talk to their supervisor handling the case and that I was to appear in court tomorrow. they were collecting a debt and their accent was very thick and forgein. I said will not call back a place that i can not understand where or never heard of the company..... they hung up..  I am so glad i searched this number and this site and peoples story was on it. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! I was very worried on why i was having legal action taken against me. THANK YOU AGAIN for letting me know this was a SCAM...before I gave any personal information.

I received a Call from this number and talked to them for half an hour. Every time I call back to get information i get a different person. They tell me a loan was taken out in my name in 2009 but i was still in high school in 2009 and i was also not working for anyone due to surgery so how could i take out a payday loan. They told me i would be arrested tomorrow for my actions. I called the police dept. and they said they had no information on my arrest. I also know that they have to notfy my if they have a warrant and i have 5 days before they come and arrest me. So im a little confused.....

Oh yeah, definite scam again. =)  I definately support not giving them any information (if my dealings with them previously are correct, they may give you your own last 4 of your SSN, your employer, your name - nothing else), I actually don't say "tell them off big time".  I've had to actually change my home phone number because of this same group of scam artists (I think it's the same group, all speak the same, same basic story).  Once I did call them out (the second time they tried this mess), they decided it'd be fun to call about 10-15 times back to back on my home phone, no message left, and they would call back while my answering machine was still answering the previous call.  So, telling them off may actually backfire! Heh.  Now they call my cell, but I've made it generic and it's rare.  They usually block the number or have some partial number come up so if that happens (the partial #) you can't block them as an unknown number. >.<  I tried.  But definite scam, don't by into the garbage.

This guy is calling family members as well so let them all know not to give any information because it is not true.
The second you ask to documention he says their is none and can't give dates when it happen either

Have contacted numerous ppl from this number and( Justin )(Paul ) are names of a few from this Robert Ross law office that has a case involving federal check fraud and three other counts against me my local police dept has tons of calls involving them its is a scam ,(brush pd ) my local police dept called at one time to question and they went silent on the call then tried to call them back and number was disconnected

Ignore this call! The person has an Asian accent and does not believe his own lie about collecting a debt from his famous law office. He also will say that your case is tomorrow morning.

Watch out if you get a call from this number. They claim to be from a law office collecting a debt. It is a scam. If they call you ask for written documentation and they will probably leave you alone. Don't fall for their scare tactics and definately don't give them any information if it is lagitament they should already have it.

My wife received the threatining phone calls to pay back a payday loan that we never did. They told us it was sometime in 2010 but couldn't give us an exact date or how it would show up on our bank statement. If you get these calls ask for some written documentation before you give them any information. In my opinion you should let them know what you think with a few choice words. I may just be upset because these guys or someone doing the same thing has also gotten to my brother and sister.

I Just receive a call from 347 753-8257.  These scam artists pretending to be from a law office in D.C.  They somehow got personal information on me concerning a pay day loan back from many years.  They are carrying on a HUGE SCAM by threatening people to SUE, OR SEND TO JAIL for non-payment.  Asked for $100 dollar payback increment and schedule to pay others.  Got me the 1st increment but was unsuccessful on the next.  Asked them their name and why am I paying you when I don't know you? Replied - You said you were going to make another payment of $100 within the month.  That's when I began to let that group know that I know they were scam artists and told them to return the 1st $100 I sent them. Said their names were Kevin Miller and David Jones.  I'm reported them to the police dept. in Repo Park, N.Y where that zip code  is in the county of Queens.  Oh! they are representing Cash Partners of America.  They spoke with an asian or oriental accent.  Called also from number 718 732-0135 which has been disconnected.

i keep receiving threatening phone calls from multiple numbers, most recently this one. trying to scam me out of money for an outdated payday loan. saying that i need to come up with a $1,000 within the hour or a sheriff will be at my door to arrest me! my mom called them back and went off and told them that if i do owe money first of all it would go on my credit, second i would receive papers to go to court over it and be sued, third my wages would get garnished. none of this has happened and they are trying to scam me out of big bucks!!! please dont fall for this! call your attorney general immediately
