Rec'd call 2x today with no message left..Caller ID indicated that it originated from the Bronx in NY...called back..line as busy

when i answered a call from this number, there was no one there and then a disconnect

I just got a call from this number and asked for my mother, I said she wasn't here and hung up in my ear, what the heck is going on, and who is these people...

they are ARS National Debt Collectors callback number 18668889068

this idiot female debt collector calls me...
she says is this Jim
i say who's calling
she says grace,is this Jim
i say where you calling from
she says ars.is this Jim
i say what does ars stand for
she says i told you my info now is this Jim
i sat what does ars mean
she says stop playing games is this Jim
i say what does ars stand for i want the full name
she hangs up on me...
so now the idiot thinks she got the last laugh...but she doesn't realize she didn't she called me about a debt i wasted at least two minutes of her time  she did not take control of the phone call like she was trained to do and most important she still doesn't know if she got Jim on the phone and never got her message out,,i got the last laugh because this is what i do to them,,they hate to fully identify themselves which there suppose to do...now if she did identify herself i would of told her yes you have Jim,,today some debt collectors do identify themselves and then i do talk to them and i tell them the truth i lost my job and don't have any monies to pay the bills and some does understand and say they will call me later and others will say can you borrow the money from a relative or a friend and i say they know I'm not working and they will not give me any monies and again some say okay well check with you later i say okay and we hang up..now for the nasty ones who demands money what i do to them is when they call me after 7pm i say oh I'm sorry its after 7pm and its family time now call me tomorrow and thank you and i hang up..
when they call me on weekends or holidays i tell them i don't do business on weekends or holidays please call me monday thank you and i hang up
remember the debt collector calls you for monies and if they cant get monies they try to use scare tactics and lie to you and get you upset...don't get upset what debt collectors hate is when they cant take control of the phone call...when you waste there time on the phone and they get no monies now they didn't get there 15% commission and being people dont have the monies to pay the debt collectors cant survive on there 8.00 an hour they make

This is absolutely a FRAUD. My gf just received a call from someone posing as a Dell debt collector. She has never owned or purchased a Dell. The person on the other end of the line refused to give her information until she verified confidential identity info.

If you receive a call from this number, please help shut down this fraudulent operation by contacting the BBB and the FTC.

i get calls from this number every few weeks. they never leave a message. today i answered the phone and they said they were calling in reference to "dell financial" and they wanted me to verify my social security number. i told them i won't be giving out that information to anyone and hung up. i think this might be one of those scams where they try to convince you that you owe money from years ago and scare you into paying.

I got a call  from this # and they ask 4 my first and last name I try 2 call back it say all lines are beep  y

This guy named "Mr. Green" called. He had called several times before. He asked to speak to my wife. When I asked him what the call was inrefernce to he said, "Personal Business". I asked him what business and he asked me if I was her husband. I told him when I called HIS house he could ask me all the questions he wanted, but since he was calling MY house, he was suppossed to answer MY questions.

Eventually he admitted it was in refrence to an oustanding debt in regards to a student loan. I told him that she no longer lived there and he told me he would stop calling.

I also get calls from this number. I don't know this number so I let the answering machine get it but they never leave messages.

Just received 2 calls within 10 minutes of each other.........I ignored the first and looked up the number on the internet with no success.....I answered the second call to find a real person on the other end of the line saying they were from "Sally Mae".......They are an organization that deals with student loans/

I have been receiving many calls from this number.  I do not answer at this point, this is ridiculous.

I also just got a call from this number....no message...weird

Receive calls continuously from this number and they NEVER leave a message. I answered once some while ago and it sounded strange so I hung up. What a nuisance!
