Did anything happen I got the same call.

My boss received several phone calls a my work stating there were criminal charges against me and I needed to call asap. WhenI got to work and called He stated his name was Adam Garcia and he wanted to know if I had an attorney, I asked what this was all about and they hung up on me.

I just got a called at work from those people and I called back asking them to fax me the papers if my case "Adam Garcia" called me bi.... and other things. My question is how they got my info n are they real

someone with an accent at 347-292-8683 keeps calling work stating this is something to do with my SS# being under investigation.  Crazy--don't make much, don't have SSI, just sounds like a scam.

347-292-8683 called me today and I was informed I had criminal charges being filed against me for check fraud I told them I never had a bank account before and upon me telling them that they told me I had to speak to some guy named Adam Garcia so I called back same guy I talked too was on the phone trying to be a lawyer he then cussed me out and called me a criminal. When asked what the charges were he told me that it wasn't any of my business and I need too quit calling them.

I was called by this Adam Garcia fellow and he had some pretty nasty things too say so I informed him I was contacting back and that I was being charged with some kind of criminal charges in New York which I have never been in my life and he cussed me out calling me all kinds of names

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I recieved the same call, 1st from his paralegal, then from Mr. Garcia, he had all of my information to include my home address, my social, my birth date,stating that there was some company that i borrowed money from 2 years ago and never paid!!! Also, that the total in amount plus attorney fee would be $509.32, the entire time he had some smug attitude.. i picked up on it after he mentioned i had to do it before and hour and if i didnt i would be  arrested  and be sitting behind bars for three months... called my bank and deactivated card

I juat got the same call about 45 minutes ago but i was told to call 347-292-8683. At first i was really worried but after seeing all these stories on the internet im not so worried. He knew all my info right away and said the same thing everyone else is saying. Im thinkin about calling the number back and seeing if i get a different name. Has anyone else been told to call the number above cuz if so hea changed his number

I received the same call today. The first call was from an indian man that I could hardly understand. I didn't understand what he said his name was. He told me to call attorney Adam Garcia and he would explain everything to me. I was reluctant, but wanted to see what it was all about. When Adam Garcia answered he knew all my information. He said I have 3 criminal charges against me, and would be arrested to spend 90 days in jail. Also my license would be suspended, and my ssn would be blacklisted. I asked who the company was filing the charges, and he would not tell me. He said I had to pay $716 in an hour or the charges would be filed. My aunt then got on my phone and told him he was upsetting me, and he said to her f#### you. At that moment I knew for a fact it was a scam. I immediately googled his name, and found all the similar stories exactly like the situation I delt with. I called him back numerous times and told him I am reporting him to authorities and my lawyer. He just kept cussing at me. I am going to do everything I can to sue him and see him go to prison.

I just received a call from this number stating that i have a warrant out for my arrest and needed my information. The number was the one with area code 347 he had an accent and his name was Garcia.
I called and asked for his address and he wouldnt give it to me. Then i called again and said i was going to have the cops check out if he was real. He sounded nervous but gave me an address.
I know he is fake . It just doesnt add up. The address he gave me was in East Street NY i forgot what part of NY he said i think it was Brooklyn.

Same thing happend to me as I read all these messages. I got numberous phone calls., threats of being arressted and criminal charges against me. They said their names were ADAM GARCIA and JUSTIN KELLER. Which is a crock cuz those are american names and you clearly cant speak english. ( India accent) My question is, do the phone calls every stop? I am most worried because these people know my work's phone number because they called there, they know my SSN. Has any of you out there dealt with this? Can you tell me when it stops!

This guy refuses to quit called me 10 x in a row saying if I didn't pay or give my lawyers info.then they would issue a warrent for my arrest. Had my s.s number.

Yeah, funny how you say "Follow the law & rules" when you FAIL to do just that, by posting your victim's personal info (SSN, bank account number, phone number), which was thankfully removed by the admins.

I have recieved calls from andrew marshall law firm from a man named john johson  phone #3478295632 telling me i will be arrested for fraud due to cash advance loan that ii received .my attorny is looking into the matter and will be contacting them --have recieved other call from cash advance also..

Just got the same call at work. He also left a message on my cell. Strong Indian accent. Andrew Marshall Law Firm, Thomas Brown. wanted my SS#. Lawsuit against me....When I asked who his firm represented, he said he was just a para-legal and that I needed to call Mark Johnson @ 347 829-5632. I must say that initially
I was scared. I am just pissed now.
If they call again I will mention my attorney. I am also going to file a complaint with the FTC.

Don't worry I think it's a scam. My attorney is Koelher Law Office. They told me that after yesterday it was harrasment. Yes, I got the same call. I told them who my attorney was and they hung up on me.

I received a call at my home and work from someone with an India accent saying I have a suit against me and wanting me to confirm my last digits of my SS #.  I wouldn't confirm anything and when I asked what the suit was about he said he was just a paralegal and didn't have details and I would have to call a Mark Johnson at this number. He need to verify my SS # and stated thatt the local sheriff was going to pick me up if I did not call them back.

have no idea what this is about and got a call @ my job to call back  right away was important. if so important and they have my work # they should have home address and send me a letter .

I just received the same type of call about 7:14 p.m. EST.  They began calling me at 8:00 a.m. this morning.  I didn't answer my phone the 1st time and they left a voicemail stating just about the same thing that everyone else has posted.  They have called all day and most of the evening.  I finally answered at 7:14 p.m. thinking I could tell them to stop calling.  The guy told me his name was Thomas Brown and a paralegal for Andrew Marshall Law Firm that I had some serious charges being brought against me.  I also asked what type of charges.  He told me he was just a paralegal and would need to call Attorney Adam Garcia to get more information and he was sure the attorney could resolve the issue quickly.  I decided to call Adam Garcia at the same number (I found this very odd), I asked him what type of charges I had being filed against me, fraud and a few other ones.  He told me it was going against my social security # and my drivers licensce would be suspend because of the nature of the crimes.  He said if I would resolve the issues within an hour charges would not be filed.  I told him I didn't have that type of money he then said I wasn't taking this seriously and he would be sending the police to arrest me at home, work or wherever I may be.  I told him to go ahead and send the police. Again he said I wasn't taking this serious, I told him to do whatever he had to, thanks for calling and hung up!!!  He called back at least 4 times afterwards and his so called paralegal called and left me a voicemail telling me to call back immediately, blah, blah, blah.  This is really annoying and I would like it to stop but don't know who to report it to.  Any suggestions??

I received numerous calls from 347-829-5632 at my job. I was told that the representative that I was speaking to was just a paralegal and could not inform me on what the "charges" were against me. I then called another number (347-878-3074) and I just heard a "beep" for a voicemail but I heard no message. I then called back the previous number and someone with the EXACT same tone and accent answered "Attorney Mark Johnson". I then spoke with "Mark Johnson" and he informed me that I had some serious charges pending against me. I was told not to hang up or interrupt him while he was talking. I was being accused of check fraud and something to do with a bank. I then nicely informed him that I have never done such a thing and that if I did then I would own up to it. I believe he said something back to me (slurs) and then hung up on me. I called back and I heard the phone hang up on me again. The next time I called no one picked up. The call just dropped. All that I ask is that whomever this may be to not contact me with false accusations and please not to call me at work. This is a real inconvience. I was being very nice about the situation but this is really uncalled for.

I got a call from a guy who said he was an attorney, and that I owed $420 from a cash advance loan.  He said there was a lawsuit being filed against me, but that he could convince his client to let me pay it through a money order at Wal-mart to avoid court.  I have researched and found this to be a major scam.  BUT, he had all my information -- social security and driver's license #, etc.  Very scary.

I received a call from this #. Said he was with a law firm, and that I had a law suit against my name and SSN. When I refused to give the info and for him to subpoena me, he stated he would contact the local police. I told him "please do, at least they speak English and I will be able to understand them"

I just started receiving phone call from 347-829-5632 stating that they have a law suit against me but the person on the phone can not give me any information about this law suit, all they would tell me is to call their attorney at Andrew Marshall law office. When I try to ask him questions or say anything he then act like he can not hear me. The name that come up on the callier ID is V. Brown.

Keep receiving calls from someone with an indian accent saying I owe them money when I don't.

They told me I had a loan which was fraudulent and I would be arressted. I dnt know what their talking   about. Somw heavy undian accent.rediculous.
