Just in case they try this one on you too: I got another one from some 202 number: BREN BRAXTON saying the same thing Mr.Tromberg was. I am getting sick of this...seriously. Beware of some company named BRN- Balance Recovery Network or something like it. TOTAL FAKE/SCAM/HARASSMENT. How can I fight these people please?
I have been getting very HARASSING calls at work, for the last 6-9 months. I have had several different people, names, and "companies" calling me from all different states. They claim to be "investigators" or "lawyers" from CashNet. They always claim that if I do not send them some money that same day, that I will go to jail. They say they are going to "process" it at the end of the day and that someone will come up to my place of employment and arrest me.
I did take a payday loan, but that was all the way back in 2008, and it is now 2010. I offer to set up a payment plan, and they tell me that I cannot do that. They tell me no checks, cash, or money orders will be accepted, only account to account transfers. This seems very fishy to me. They are always very rude. I ask for account numbers, badge numbers, or company names, and they always "beat around" giving me such information. I know that it is illegal for them to KEEP calling my job making these threats. They have even asked to talk to my supervisor, gotten nasty with our receptionist, and even went as far as getting my mother's number and called her house. Please beware that these practices are illegal. I know this is not right, but I am unsure of how to make it stop. I can end up getting in trouble at work because of HOW MUCH they call. Any advice would be well appreciated. Thank you.

I received the same phone call, from detective Tromberg, from the same number. He also stated that I owed a payday loan, and told me that I was going to go to jail if I did not send him a certain amount of money. He had me all upset and crying at my place of employment. Him as well as a officer Roebuck from a 347-832-2543 number kept on calling my job. I kept asking for information, and they were reluctant to give it to me. I honestly thought that I was in some type of legal trouble, but I am now seeing that this is a scam! This is crazy, and I am sick of being harassed. They tell me that unless I pay them that same day, that they are going to open a case against me for "bad checks" and come to my job and arrest me. This is the craziest thing I have ever heard. How can we stop these people please? They also asked to talk to my SUPERVISOR! This is harassment to the fullest. HELP PLEASE!

I had a call from a supposed detective tromberg, at phone number 610-707-2751, when he called me i asked him was he a detective and why did he call other people stating he was , Dan tromberg repiled that he never did. he stated that i owed a payday loan standpoint capital llc. he stated that i was suppose to deposit money into an account bank of america , routing number 026009593, account number 8980387167. i asked for a release and he said that he was going to mail it to me . that i told him that i never heard of such a thing to repay a loan like this.  i asked for a mailing address and he gave me

This Dan person did give me a hard time and it took 15 minutes or arguing to get this information. i stated that you are trying to get paid , so why are you giving me a hard time, then i asked for a phine number and he started arguing with me, and stated that i was stalling.  And as I was talking he procedded to talk over me. The I just let him talk and yesed him to death. Not sure how I can report him, and this company.
