Me too. He told me he was Swedish and I felt sceptical about this whole thing. Thanks to Lydia above I know for sure.. His accent was clearly not Swedish.

I was contacted by this man name Joe on a dateing site. he says he lives in NY. I talked to him for about 2wks before he went to work in Turkey. (He says). Then we talked about 2 months while he was at work in Turkey. He said he ran out of money so I sent him some to get home. The day he was to return to NY. I got a call from the Turkish police saying he was arrested. But when I check the Ok Cupid site it say he was on today. So really this is a scam
