I received text messages from this number regarding craigslist merchandise.
Used some story of being out of town and wants to pay through paypal and have me mail the merchandise.
I explained that I only deal in person with cash and if they have friends and family i will work through them.
The reply again insisted I use paypal with no mention of trying to work with friends or family.

That's where it breaks off. I read of someone else on another web page getting almost exactly the same text/email, and he was suspicious, too. Apparently you ship the item, they get it, and the purchaser says they never authorized the purchase, so they get a refund, and you get investigated for fraud.

Maybe just a real experienced seller who knows what he or she wants to say? Perhaps. Or perhaps it's because it was sent after 10 that made it a bit creepy. Perhaps it is unwise to go into such detail... But I want others to know the details. I was motivated by Jake who wrote a brief description to write this. It was good to know that at least one other person had an unpleasant experience with this number although I am uncertain if I would call this unpleasant or not.
