They just called my phone like 15 times in same day saying from law firm.. sounds like indian person named John Brown, i have the voice mail on my phone, they saying im under federal investigation, thats fraud

Just got a call from this moron also, says Im under federal investigation and If i dont pay up money I owe, he will bring me to jail lol. Saying its from some payday loan that I never took. He says his name is John Williams yet he barley spoke english (Indian man) He got very rude when I decided I was playing along with him and asked him where to send the money to and he told me I could fax my authorization to have it withdrawn from my bank account. Nothing but scam artists here. What a joke! I had fun playing around with him on the phone though!

Got a call from these people at my place of employment.  Could hardly understand them.  They had all of my information, but like I said, I couldn't understand them.  He said something about a payday loan that was paid off 6-8 months ago.  These people need to be taken care of.

its an indian man calling my phone daily telling me that i owe them 560 dollars from a loan that i supposely borrowed which he stated that i borrowed 340. he keeps telling me if i dont pay them they are gonna take me to court and sue me for 8,000 he knows my social and everything. i actually thought it was from a loan dat i actually did applied for and i was wondering why they were threating to sue me when i havent had no contacts from them, i was actually arranging payments with them (the indian guys) and he wanted me to send a fax of my id and a statement agreeing to pay them with my account number included. good thing the fax didnt go through because the next day my real loaners called me and i asked them why they were threatning to sue me and i also told them that i had made payment arrangements on the phone with an indian guy by the name of brandon woods. that person told me that was a scam and to call my bank and put my account on freeze. when the harassers called on that following monday i told them what my real loaners told me and i told them im not paying them anything brandon woods told me this is a different loan, a loan that i supposely opened in nov of 2010!! i was like i never in life had a loan in 2010, then he stated that he has my information on his desk right now, i told him to send me this loan summary to my email or my mailing address that you have, and i also asked him what account that this loan supposley went into. he didnt send my anything no summary or nothing instead someone else called me back rude and threatning to have law inforcers on my porch if i didnt pay and he hung up on me when i kept asking him to send me information about this loan. i was so furious that i called brandon woods and told him that i will not give them no kind of money if he cant send me this so called loan summary and he was also very rude and i told him why are you getting so angry when i ask you for the loan summary and i also said i can show you my bank statements for the month of nov 2010 and there were no deposits from any loan. then he kept going on telling me that im not taking this seriously and he is going to sue me for 8,000 dollars so i hung up on him...please tell me what should i do

I keep getting the same call from a guy with a heavy Indian accent sayng his name is Steve Anderson from a Cannon Law Firm claiming I owe on a Pay Day loan, which I have never had.  He says at the end of the conversation if you dont call me back I can only say good luck with whatever may happen to you!  Sounds very threatening!  Have told him to stop calling me that I do not owe a pay day loan!  Requested him to send me something to document what he was claiming...He refused... any legitimate Law Firm would send you proof if you really owed!  Really scary that he has my social security number, work and home number.  I have fraud alerts on all bank accounts to try and protect them!  Big scammer!  If anyone knows how to stop him please advise! Thanks

once again i continue to get this call from these so called officers with accents... they call my job & personal phone and leave several messages all the time... it's tiresome.... they need to really be put out of business or someone needs to repermand them....

I got a similar call from an Indian accent man about him being from a law firm and that my name was a referral for some legal document and that I need to call him and then he said God Bless. Which was weird. I am all for the God Bless thing but I typed 347 878 391 number up online before I called back and got this website

I am getting calls from a law firm which was Marau firm first and now they are calling under a different law firm.  They have all my information, bank acct number, address, work number cell number - WTF!!!!

I never took a payday loan.  They have threaten to arrest me and my wife because of an unpaid loan for 1156.00.  But then he said he would take $275.00 to settle.  The calls are coming in as 464-6 on my cell and sometimes as a Texas number.

I received a 5th call from this number, the first time they called me it really did scare me.  I was about to give them my information but then I googled the number.  I had a hunch and I was right.  I called my attorney and she told me that in a state of Texas you could not be arrested for debt.  I continue to get calls from them, they wont stop.  I told them to call my attorney.  They will try anything.  The third time they called me the company name was different and so was the guy on the phone.  Same voice, just different name and company. FRAUD!

Just got a scam call from some guy claiming to be Sr. Officer Dan Moygan from Cannon Law Firm telling me that they were pursuing me for a federal theft case regarding a payday loan I paid off months ago!  Scammers trying to get money out of people.  He had my name, social, phone number, all kinds of personal information he has no business knowing.  I filed a Police report and a complaint with my former lender that they are turning over to a federal investigation.

Some body needs to find who ever is doing this!!!! got the same call as above with  all my information!!!!   what's going on?!

Received a call on my cell.  caller ID came up 00000.  Message left said thei is Officer Paul Wright (heavy Indian accent) from Law Enforcement Office call me back at 347-878-391.  Your name and social security number has been placed on my desk for a law suit to be downloaded against you.  If you do not call me back I suggest you get an attorney to represent you in court.
