After this number flashing on my mobile did a quick search and saw multiple people reporting about it. Didn't answer. No answer was left

man with accent asked for me by first and last name, I confirmed. He asked if this was my direct line (work number) before I could reply, he hung up....

Multiple calls from same man using a magic jack outlet. Shows the number is from Bronx New York. Number shows as (347) 949-4576 man has accent, asks if its Gerald and then hangs up. Called again after second attempt using a Magic Jack connector, this time showing the number (646) 434-5429

I get these calls numerous times a day.  I have made it fun for myself.  I will immediately put them on hold and then pick it up for a second and when they start talking I put them back on hold.  I like to see how long they put up with it.

This just started today at my work number first a call from 619-906-7706 and then 347-949-4576. First they repeated my name, which is what I say when I pick up my phone, and hung up. The second time they said nothing.

One of us needs to find a new handle.

Man with accent called asking for person who doesn't work here.  I asked who he was and he replied "BK."  I asked why he was calling and he said to set up an appointment with XX.  Sorry, XX doesn't work here.

I picked up and heard the caller talking to another one of his coworkers for at least 5 seconds until he finally answered back, "who is this".  I just hung up.

call from that mumber, did not answer, no message was left.

Caller with accent said he was from a healthcare company asking to speak with me (knew my name).  I think he said the company name was "Bear" or "Bayer" - not completely sure.

I asked him what this was in regard.  He asked again if it was me.  I asked again what it was in regard.  He asked if I worked for a company (I no longer work for).  I told him this was not that company he had reached. He asked then to confirm this was a mobile # instead.  I said yes, then he asked again if I was the person he had called.  I said yes and repeated this was not that company #.  He hung up.

What an a***ole!

Caller asked for me by name then said his name is Ravi...after confirming he hung up

A man with an accent called claiming to be from CVS and trying to confirm personal information about me. When I asked who he was he hung up the phone.

UPDATE:  This man has now called more than eight times today (using both numbers), alleging to also be from UPS to deliver a package, Bank of America, and "the Revenue Department" concerning an individual's unpaid tax bills.  I told him that our company doesn't accept debt collection calls and to either try the person at home or send them a letter.  Additionally, he slammed down the receiver on my back-up when she asked for more specifics about the alleged deliveries.

Man with accent from call center originally phoned from 347-949-4576.  Research led to the website for a company named EMC, which is a known pest around here.  He claimed to be returning the call of a manager who is not at this location.  I said if an inquiry had been made, the manager would have provided his direct line and transferred this guy to Purchasing.  In a few seconds, 646-434-5429 appeared on Caller ID.  Mr. Accent complained about my sending him elsewhere and denied that he was soliciting, but I switched him over again.  He tried two more times with the same result, then gave up.  Posters at the 800notes page for 646-etc. stated that EMC uses a variety of numbers.
